I want to be a marine biologist at some point. I've often joked with my girlfriend about coming home with a starfish saying it's "official business"

That’s the ideal plan! Honestly working in aquatic sciences overall can lead to some hilarious situations and you 100% have to live up to them. In very few fields of work/study can you say you had a trout in a tube, for example.
