She has the standard abilities of a goddess. As the goddess of wolves her other powers/abilities include limited lunakinesis, night vision, acclerated healing, being able to emit a sonic wolf's howl from her vocal chords, enhanced hearing & smell, adopting wolf physiology into her physical form, being able to shapeshift into a wolf, and being able to communicate with other canines.

Inside, the interior design is very cool & hip with the color scheme being silver, black, ivory, and dark blue. The flooring is black mink carpeting and there's also leather & velvet furniture, moonstone and obsidian furniture pieces, and various decorative wolf fur pelts on the walls. She has two pets- twin boy siberian huskies named Romulus & Remus.
She has a couple of canine tendencies like growling when she's angry or frustrated and shaking water out of her hair.
A member of Lykos' immediate family is her mother Lycana (Titaness of lycanthropy).
She starts out her mornings by walking her dogs through Eaglepoint Park. Her own personal form of exercise is running through the Nightfall Forest & Celestial Woods in her wolf form.
Lykos and her mother have a very close relationship. They talk & text daily and they see each other all the time. When they hang out (especially during a full or new moon), they love running through the city on the rooftops of buildings in their wolf forms. They'll also enjoy a shopping trip or an olympian sized cup of chocolate crunch ice cream at The Frozen Spoon. When Lycana visits her at her apartment, Lykos loves when she brings over her delicious homemade chorizo & arepas.
A go-to drink for her is vanilla cola. She also likes beer, ginger ale, pomegranate juice, lavender tea, cookies n' cream milkshakes from The Frozen Spoon, manhattans, rum & cokes, and her mom's limonada de coco. She also respects & admires her boyfriend's mom Arktos (goddess of the night sky & constellations).
Lykos doesn't like Ailuros (goddess of cats & warfare) or her mom's boyfriend Pseudologos (god of lies). She met him very briefly once when she came by her mom's apartment.
She likes playing basketball with Apollo & Artemis. Afterwards, they all go for a run in their wolf forms.
Some of her guilty pleasures include meat lover's pizza, beef jerky, spicy tuna rolls, spicy birria tacos, as well as an order of olympian sized cajun fries with 20 chicken nuggets (with spicy buffalo dipping sauce) from Olympic Chef.
Lykos is in a relationship with her boyfriend Urso (god of bears). They met two summers ago at the Summer Solstice Music Festival & their first date was a hunting/canoeing excursion in the state of Arcadia. She enjoys their deep conversations, his cuddles, his eyes, and his breathtaking kisses. Lykos fondly remembers when they first made love- underneath the New Olympus sign after watching the sunset while drinking beers.
She went to the Underworld once where she went skiing with Mania and Hecate.
Lykos & Lyssa schedule playdates for their dogs!
Aphrodite released a limited edition handbag for her fashion brand inspired by Lykos- an ethically sourced wolf fur bag, with the fur being dyed rose gold.

The Ultimate Guide to Finding the Best Vape Juice
Tumblr media
Ah, the quest for the best vape juice – a journey filled with flavor explosions, a few epic fails, and the eternal search for that perfect puff. Whether you’re a seasoned vaper or a newbie just getting started, finding the right vape juice can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. But fear not, my cloud-chasing friends, because this guide is here to light your way. With a touch of humor and a lot of useful tips, we’ll help you navigate the vaporous seas to find the best vape juice that suits your taste and style. Flavor Frenzy – Discovering Your Perfect Taste When it comes to vape juice, flavor is king. Imagine biting into a juicy peach or savoring a slice of rich chocolate cake – the right vape juice can deliver all these sensations without the calories. But with so many options, where do you start? The Classic Conundrums First, let’s talk about the classics. Tobacco, menthol, and fruit flavors have been the staples of the vape world for a reason. They’re reliable, they’re tasty, and they’re a great starting point. Tobacco flavors range from the robust and earthy to sweet and smooth, perfect for ex-smokers looking for a familiar hit. Menthol, on the other hand, provides a refreshing kick, like a cool breeze on a hot day. And fruit flavors? Well, who doesn’t want to vape a blueberry pie or a watermelon slice? The Wild and Wacky For the more adventurous vapers, the world of vape juice offers some truly wild and wacky flavors. Ever wanted to taste bacon without the grease? Or perhaps experience the essence of buttered popcorn in vapor form? There’s a flavor for every curiosity. While these might not be daily go-tos, they certainly add a fun twist to your vaping experience. Just remember, not every experiment will be a success – bacon-flavored vape juice might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Nicotine Levels – Finding Your Sweet Spot Nicotine levels in vape juice can be as varied as the flavors themselves. Finding the right balance is crucial for a satisfying vape experience. Too much nicotine, and you might feel like you’ve been hit by a freight train. Too little, and you could be left wanting more. For the Nicotine Newbies If you’re new to vaping or coming off cigarettes, starting with a higher nicotine level might be the way to go. Vape juices range from nicotine-free to a whopping 50mg/mL, but common starting points are around 12mg/mL to 18mg/mL for those used to smoking a pack a day. This level can give you that familiar throat hit and nicotine buzz without overwhelming your system. Dialing It Down As you get more comfortable with vaping, you might find yourself wanting to reduce your nicotine intake. Many vapers start high and gradually move to lower levels, some eventually reaching nicotine-free juices. The key is to listen to your body and adjust accordingly. And hey, if you find yourself chain-vaping a delicious flavor, maybe it’s time to drop the nicotine level a bit – your taste buds will thank you. VG vs. PG – The Base of Your Juice Vape juice isn’t just about flavors and nicotine; the base of your juice plays a significant role in your vaping experience. The two main components are Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG). Understanding their differences can help you tailor your vape to perfection. The VG Lovers VG is known for producing thick, dense clouds of vapor. If you’re the type who loves to impress friends with your cloud-chasing skills, a high VG juice is your best bet. VG also tends to be sweeter and smoother on the throat, making it a great choice for those who want a less harsh vaping experience. However, it can gunk up your coils faster, so be prepared for a bit more maintenance. The PG Perfectionists PG, on the other hand, is all about flavor and throat hit. It’s thinner than VG and carries flavors exceptionally well, making it ideal for those who crave a strong, consistent taste. PG also provides a more pronounced throat hit, similar to smoking a cigarette. However, some people can be sensitive to PG, experiencing irritation or dryness. If you’re one of them, a 50/50 VG/PG mix might be the perfect compromise. Quality Matters – Choosing the Best Brands Not all vape juices are created equal. Quality can vary widely, and choosing a reputable brand can make a huge difference in your vaping experience. Let’s dive into what to look for and some top brands to consider. The Importance of Quality High-quality vape juice isn’t just about great taste; it’s about safety and consistency. Reputable brands use high-grade ingredients and adhere to strict manufacturing standards, ensuring that what you’re vaping is both safe and enjoyable. Look for brands that provide lab testing results and have positive reviews from the vaping community. After all, you wouldn’t want to vape something that’s more chemistry experiment than delicious treat. Top Brands to Try There are many fantastic vape juice brands out there, but a few stand out from the crowd. Companies like Naked 100, Black Note, and Charlie’s Chalk Dust have earned their reputations by consistently delivering top-notch products. Naked 100 is known for its clean, refreshing fruit flavors, while Black Note specializes in naturally extracted tobacco flavors that are as close to the real thing as you can get. Charlie’s Chalk Dust offers a whimsical array of dessert and candy flavors that can satisfy even the most stubborn sweet tooth. Conclusion Finding the best vape juice is a delightful adventure filled with trials, errors, and a lot of delicious puffs. By understanding your flavor preferences, nicotine needs, and the VG/PG balance, you can tailor your vaping experience to perfection. Remember, the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination, so don’t be afraid to experiment and have a little fun along the way. Happy vaping, my friends, and may your clouds always be flavorful! FAQs 1. What is the best vape juice for beginners? For beginners, the best vape juice often comes down to simple, classic flavors with moderate nicotine levels. Popular options include tobacco, menthol, and fruit flavors. Brands like Naked 100, with its straightforward and clean fruit flavors, or Halo's tobacco and menthol offerings, are great starting points. Aim for nicotine levels around 6mg to 12mg to mimic the sensation of smoking without overwhelming your system. 2. How do I choose the right nicotine strength in vape juice? Choosing the right nicotine strength depends on your previous smoking habits and your current nicotine tolerance. For those who smoked heavily (more than a pack a day), a nicotine level of 18mg to 24mg might be suitable. Moderate smokers might prefer 12mg to 18mg, while light smokers or those looking to reduce nicotine intake should start around 3mg to 6mg. Remember, you can always adjust based on your experience. 3. What are the differences between VG and PG in vape juice? VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and PG (Propylene Glycol) are the primary base ingredients in vape juice. VG produces thick, dense clouds and has a sweeter taste, making it ideal for cloud chasers and those who prefer a smoother throat hit. PG, however, is better for delivering strong, consistent flavors and a more pronounced throat hit, similar to smoking. Some vapers prefer a 50/50 mix to balance vapor production and flavor. 4. Are there any health risks associated with vaping? While vaping is generally considered less harmful than smoking traditional cigarettes, it is not entirely risk-free. Some potential health risks include nicotine addiction, respiratory issues, and exposure to certain harmful chemicals found in some vape juices. It's essential to choose high-quality vape juices from reputable brands and stay informed about the latest research and guidelines from health authorities. 5. How can I avoid vape juice that gunks up my coils? Coil gunk is often caused by sweeteners and high VG content in vape juice. To avoid this, look for e-liquids that specify they are coil-friendly or have minimal sweeteners. Regularly cleaning your coils and replacing them as needed can also help maintain the performance of your vape device. Opting for juices with a higher PG content can reduce the buildup, but if you prefer high VG juices, just be prepared for more frequent coil maintenance. Read the full article

01•28•23
This was a MUCH needed weekend visit to Hurricane! I hadn't seen the boys in about five months, and that's way too long to go without seeing my favorite guys!
Whit and I drove down Friday morning, and met Mom at Red Robin for lunch. Getting out of the car into the sun, and temps near 50, was a magical feeling hahah. Especially after a super scary drive from Layton to Salt Lake City because of so much snow that morning. Northern Utah has been a frosty wasteland this winter, and I'm so sick of it!
After lunch, we went to pick up the dogs to take them to their vet appointment. It was pure chaos seeing them for the first time, because they are so excited and can't stop jumping! I was so happy. They sure have gotten pretty fat, and that makes me sad. Arch has always been in good shape since he'd run around so often, but with such a small backyard now, they just can't do it. Whit and I made sure to take them on many walks/runs while we were there, and I hope my parents can keep it up. I want them to be healthy.
Other than that, the vet visit went smoothly! We picked up a Fiiz and went back home. My parents got e-bikes for Christmas, so Whit taught me how to ride them and then we took the boys for a bike ride/run. We got home about the same time as my Dad, and we spent the night eating mom's Zuppa (the best thing ever) and playing games. We also got to sit in their newly completed hot tub, and that was so awesome!
On Saturday, we took the boys to Grandpa's pond for a walk, played some games, went on another bike ride, and then went to Sakura for dinner, which is St. George's version of Tepanyaki. There was about an hour wait, so we got a drink and went to walk around the outlet stores. We visited one called Frenzy, where we got to pick out some old-school candy and taffy flavors to try. Whit got a pickle one, mom tried buttered popcorn, and dad did a maple bacon flavor haha. I just wanted my favorite watermelon ones!
At dinner, the chef took a particular liking to abusing me haha. All of the smoke from the grill was blowing directly into my face, and so did the flames when he lit the fire. When he put pepper on the food, I inhaled it and was choking on it for a minute haha. He later sprayed me with water, and then pretended to throw sauce at me - that scared me and made me jump, which got a good laugh out of everybody else. But the worst? After everyone had had a chance to catch their shrimp, he went to throw me another one and then said "Rapid fire!" And I kid you not, he became like a shrimp machine gun. He threw 10 or 11 shrimp at me so fast, that there were shrimp everywhere. Whit was laughing so hard she had tears running down her face. I smelled like shrimp for the rest of the trip!
We played some more games that night, and then I practiced French braiding Whit's hair for a bit. We left pretty early Sunday morning, after eating one of Dad's delicious omelettes and taking the dogs for one final run. The weather on the drive home was less than ideal, and I hated it, but it was worth the fun weekend down there. I'm already hoping to head back down soon. (And now I want to invest in an e-bike of my own!)

Second-Degree Burns (Dream Team one-shot)
~DreamNapFound (Established Polyamorous Relationship) ~ Warnings: Burns, Major Character Injury, Crying Nick wakes up to sobbing. It’s a rough morning.
Nick woke up to sobbing. There was a long moment of him laying half awake while his brain revved back to life. While he blinked away the tiredness, he started to notice that the bed seemed short the weight of one person- someone had left. Suddenly he understood what had woke him up.
He shot straight up in bed. Something was very wrong. George softly snored beside him, oblivious. As much as he absolutely hated waking up his boyfriends, this was important. He hesitantly jostled the other boy’s shoulder. “George, wake up, something’s-” A metallic crash and another strangled cry from somewhere downstairs jolted both of them wide awake.
After flinching at the sound, George quickly propped himself up on his elbow. Still wiping the sleep off his face, he mumbled. “Where’s Clay?” The two shared a worried, blurry look. The crying continued. It clicked.
They were out of bed in an instant. With both of them in a frenzy, the doorway and stairs proved difficult to bypass without injury. Minor mishaps and panic aside, they had to find Clay. Now.
It was when the two skidded around the corner into the kitchen that they saw it. Their boyfriend, sitting on the floor and bawling his eyes out. His face was stained red, tears were just streaming right down his cheeks. For a brief second, all they could do was watch him shake with every sob. The sight was just... heartbreaking.
Nick cringed. The boy’s hands trembled in front of him, his fingertips were painted crimson while his palms were singed white. The room was warm with steam, sparkling hot water coated the floor. Not good, not good, not good at all.
In a second flat, George was on his knees and gently holding his trembling wrists. So audibly anxious, he pleaded “Sweetheart, what happened?” It was obvious what had happened, he still felt the need to ask. Clay tried to pull away, tried to curl in on himself and shut all sensory input out. His hands, his head, his chest, everything hurt. Despite the crying and tugging, George held firm.
He had woken everyone up. His hands stung, and so did his eyes, but he had woken everyone up, and that was so much worse.
George didn’t know what to do. His boyfriend was sobbing on the kitchen floor, what was he supposed to do? A hand came down on his shoulder. “Here,” Now Nick was leaning close beside him, a tense smile on his face. His voice was quiet. “Go clean up, I’ve got him.” George cast one more sorrow glance back before letting Nick take his place.
“Hey, it’s okay.” Nick was patient, and he didn’t get frustrated when Clay started shaking his head. He tried again, this time with his hands resting in the wounded boy’s lap. “Yes, it is okay. Let us help, alright?” He tried to ignore it- the sound of his boyfriend choking on his worn down throat. He tried to ignore it and focus on helping instead.
Eventually he was able to wrap his hands around the boy’s wrists without protest. Slowly but surely, the two got back on their feet. As soon as they did, Nick abruptly found himself caught in an awkward sort of hug.
Clay had draped his arms around the boy’s shoulders as best he could while keeping his far away from any kind of touch. He was still whimpering, still wheezing, and still way too overwhelmed. Nick could feel Clay’s chest shuddering. This was torture. He hugged back, trying not to squeeze too hard.
They were both standing up, so at least some progress had been made. While that thought was somewhat comforting, the boy’s hands were still scorched. Nick couldn’t help but grimace, he didn’t know how to treat a burn...why didn’t he pay more attention in health class? He hesitated pulling away, but ultimately decided that the physical safety of his boyfriend was a bit more important than emotional support. Even if Clay was now staring down at him, looking just about ready to fall apart all over again.
“Uhm, let’s go sit down, alright?” A solemn sniff was all he got. Nick squirmed underneath his misery flavored gaze. He bit his cheek and muttered a quick “Good enough,” mostly for his own peace of mind. Immediately, he ushered towards the kitchen table. Wood screamed against the tile as he dragged out a chair.
A few timid steps later, Clay flopped down in his seat. Although he had quieted down, he was obviously no less upset. Nick shifted on his feet. Okay, Clay liked seeing people happy, he knew this much. If Clay saw someone worrying, he’d worry too. It was one of his most endearing qualities, he just hoped it still worked under the current circumstances.
Lowering himself to his knees left him level with his boyfriend’s tear-stained face. Somehow, he managed to suppress his concern in favor of flashing a reassuring grin. “Hey!” It felt wrong to be smiling. Clay’s breaths were heavy and uneven, his face was all shades of red, his hands were singed, and Nick was smiling. Keep it together. “We’re gonna get your hands fixed up. Sounds good, right?”
A moment passed, filled with nothing but the sound of towels sweeping the floor. Then Clay started nodding. Nick almost deflated in relief, they were getting somewhere. He set his hands on the injured boy’s knees and started pushing himself back to his feet. "Alright, I'm gonna go get some stuff to-" Mid-way through standing back up, elbows came down on his hands. His heart skipped a beat as he somewhat stumbled back down to his knees. Nick huffed. "Yes?"
The low-pitched whimper that Clay gave, it only made him feel worse. He didn’t need to hear the words, Nick got the message just fine. Disappointed, pleading, upset eyes begging him please don’t go.
Internal conflict made his head spin. He wanted to do something more than sit pretty. At the same time, Clay’s elbows pressed on his knuckles. How could he leave? Except, duh, he didn’t have to. There were three of them.
Knowing what he was about to ask made his cheeks flush. He brushed his thumb over the hem of Clay’s jeans. “George?” A squeak of acknowledgement, a short hum of curiosity. The british boy’s stare was blank. Nick sighed, this was just pathetic. “Can you...look up how to treat a uh, hot water burn?”
To be completely honest, George didn’t look any more well prepared than he was. “Yeah, just let me get my phone, it’s upstairs.” The boy threw one last towel onto the tile and pulled it flat with a foot before speeding around the corner and out of the kitchen.
For the first time, Nick took a moment to assess the damage. The air was still fogged up with steam, every breath made his nose and lungs warm. A limited array of pots and pans sat in a heap on the counter. As he slowly shifted his gaze down, he couldn’t help but hold a little tighter- Because it almost hurt just looking at Clay’s fingers. It was all just ugly shades of pink, and splotches of red that looked like blood rushing underneath his skin. Hysteria was still on his face with the way his bottom lip trembled. Pale palms, puffed up eyes, not a pretty sight.
Nick took his time adjusting positions until he had his hands gently cupped around Clay’s face. “Love, what happened?” Green eyes stared back at him, dim and gloomy.
The next breath that Clay took shook like an earthquake would LA. “I just…” His voice was undeniably raspy, all sorts of unsteady. “I wanted to make you guys breakfast.”
Ouch. He should have figured that was the case, but still. Ouch. It felt like Nick swallowed a pity-guilt-cocktail, and now his stomach felt sour. Clay wanted to make them breakfast, the sweetheart. Sitting impatiently on his tongue were apologies, kisses, and all the soothing words in the world. The urge to collapse in a puddle of comfort was overwhelming. Unbearably enticing. His brain wanted nothing more than to break down in sympathy and smother everything with unhelpful affection.
He shouldn't. In situations like this, Clay was an emotional mirror. Suck it up, dude. Don't make him upset. Alright, new goal: Keep it calm.
Nick swiped away another one of his boyfriend’s tears before peering back at the kitchen casualties. He couldn’t help but wonder. “Hey,” The pained expression on Clay’s face quickly turned expectant. In the most casual tone that he could muster, Nick cocked his head and asked, “What were you gonna make us?”
The air hissed around them. Clay looked down at his hands. After that, the stove. Then he locked eyes with Nick’s again. His face became unreadable somewhere along the way. “Pancakes...and bacon.” If Nick were to guess, it was grease that did his boyfriend in. Tragic.
But he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. The smell of food was faint, and there was almost no trace of ingredients in sight. Unshelved plates and utensils, they were suspiciously absent. Nick shook his head with a snicker. “Doesn’t look like you got very far,” He teased.
What started out as a wheeze swiftly degraded into a coughing fit. In hindsight, humor might not have been the best route to cheer up someone who had just previously cried away the lining of their throat- but it worked nonetheless! Clay’s feet drummed the floor in delight as he pulled his elbows close to his side. He always did that when he laughed, an adorable idiosyncrasy.
Just as Nick began running a hand through damp and dirty blonde hair, another pair of feet came bounding down the stairs. With it came a subtly panicked voice, “Okay so it says we should run his hands under cool water, not cold, for about 20 minutes.” Eyes still on his phone, George carelessly caught his shoulder on the doorway with a thud. “Ow- uh, it also says we should go to the hospital. Just in case.” Nick twisted around, a frown quickly forming. That’s definitely not what he wanted to hear.
He only noticed that he’d been grinding his teeth when it started giving him a headache. While he himself felt sick with concern, George looked completely lost. With a sharp inhale, Nick did his best to mouth out “Will the water hurt?” It was hard to tell if the message got across or not, because all he got was an overly-bewildered shrug.
“Alright…” His voice held an undertone of dejection, almost defeated. Nick finally rose to his feet, making sure to keep a hand on Clay for solace’s sake. “That’s what we’ll do. We’ll go to the sink, yeah?” Green eyes stared up at him, afraid, vaguely betrayed. He tried to ignore it. A lack of protest would have to suffice.
It hurt walking away, it really did. But readying the sink seemed a little more appealing, even if it granted him only a moment of peace. Behind him: hushed words of encouragement, the sound of wood against ceramics, and slightly staggered footsteps. Cool, but not cold. He shook the water off his hand.
Three pairs of arms soon rested on the rim of the sink. A severely restless vibe buzzed between them. Seeing how Clay had himself hunched over with his hands hovering, wobbling above the water, something in Nick’s head told him yes. This would in fact hurt.  The morning was really off to a wonderful start.
Both Nick and George leaned so that they could share a look behind their boyfriend’s back. A look that said a lot. One that said ‘Do we really have to do this?’, and ‘I don’t want to hurt him on purpose...’ alongside a million ‘What if?” questions. Nick swallowed hard. Excuses sat in his mouth like lead. Set the timer, see if they had any gauze, go find his keys first. In the end, all they would do was postpone the pain- which was arguably worse.
With a deep exhale, Nick forced the words out of his mouth. He went ahead and took a hold of the injured boy’s forearm. “It’ll be alright, we just need to get you all cleaned up.” Except this is when Clay decided that he was no longer on board with this whole ‘having his burns be treated’ thing. He definitely made a valiant effort to tear himself away, but weakened and outnumbered, his boyfriends swiftly overwhelmed him.
“Sweetheart, let’s just get this over with.” Nick so badly wanted to cover his ears. The running water couldn’t quite drown out the sound of Clay hissing in pain. In an instant, the boy jerked his hands out of the water and was trying to wriggle his way back to the kitchen floor. Teeth grit, hearts already broken, Nick and George reluctantly pulled his hands back under the water. Twenty minutes of this? He didn’t even know what to think.
Five minutes in, and Clay was crying again. Crying, stuttering, muttering, tearfully giggling his way through the pain. Both other boys took their turns pointlessly gushing apologies and anything heartening that came to their heads. Everything went understandably unanswered. At some point, Clay had downgraded to shaking his head and shuddering, caught in an endless loop of flinching and twitching. While George’s chin lay resting on a harshly shaking shoulder, Nick decided it was time to pull something he for sure would consider a pro gamer move.
Things almost fell apart the second he stepped away. Taking his hands off Clay’s back alone earned him a metric ton of disapproval. Clay’s face whipped around to face him, blotchy, confused, every shade of frustrated. George on the other hand looked helpless beyond recognition. Looked dizzy with uncertainty. They didn’t want him to go but…
Nick held up a finger, silently saying ‘One sec’, before stalking away towards the living room. Despite every event that had occurred in this train wreck of a morning, they still had a failsafe. Something he knew would help (it always did).
Luckily it was right there on the couch. Sitting innocently with her limbs neatly folded under her, Patches. Wide green eyes stared up at him, blissfully unaware of all his human struggles. Her tail swished and curled behind her. Clay loved Patches. A lot. Every piece of bad news, every distressing thought, every failed recording ended with her in Clay’s arms. She didn’t seem to mind.
After scooping her up to his chest, Nick couldn’t help but plant a quick kiss on her forehead before carrying her back to the sink. It was impossible not to, she was invitingly soft. Adorable. Admittedly very huggable. And smart, too, considering that at the sight of her favorite person crying, Patches immediately began to wiggle out of Nick’s hold. He let her hop onto the countertop and watched her trot up to Clay’s face. She leaned far over the water, just to be closer.
Green eyes- they matched. They matched, both pairs of green lit up like sunshine would the day. Even when Clay went briefly silent, the water kept on running. “P-Patches!” Cool, just not cold.
Patches licked her nose, the white on her chest bristling. Both Nick and George carefully wrapped a hand around their boyfriend’s waist. One last sniff of precaution, and Patches rammed her forehead right into Clay’s face. She twisted and rubbed her ears against his cheeks before settling down on the edge of the sink.
For once, the sound of water was drowned out, and elated giggling took its place. “Thank you for the bonk, Patches.”

NaLu Vampire drabble
requested by @funsized-4673 (I know it’s not much smut but me likey)
Lucy wandered around the city as she usually did. Got breakfast at one of her favorite diners, took the time in the early morning to sit in the park and read a book, take a stroll through the usual fresh markets that set up shop in the afternoon. The ones that knew her always offered an apple or two, a fresh roll of bread, and a sweet crepe once in a while that she was more than happy to have for her lunch. When the night fell, her spine shivered and her eyes slipped into their familiar red, her fangs poking lightly at her bottom lip. Her sharp senses returned along with the moon and her heart thrummed wildly as she picked up a familiar scent, instincts beyond her control pulling him towards his location. The walk she took into the suburbs was always melancholy, she hated how fresh the air was since it reminded her so much of him. She wished to resist herself from going to him, but it had been a while since her last visit, there was no way she could keep herself away this time.
She sat on the edge of the railing of his condo, hiding in the shadows as she watched him eat at the small table in his living room, laughing at whatever was on the television. She watched him wipe the food that dribbled from the chin of his son, ruffling the soft peach spiky hair that represented both his own and the mother’s hair colors. She imagined that they were just as soft as when she last felt them, the day she left him at his doorstep. She watched as they finished their meal, walk off into the bathroom to bathe before they came out and his father had to chase the dripping boy around to help him into his pajamas. She sighed with a soft chuckle as they drank some milk together before he carried him off to bed, her pink haired target soon after going back to their couch to watch t.v, though it couldn’t keep his attention for long and he was quick to walk out onto the patio.
Lucy sat farther into the darkness and against the wall, gasping as her hip hit the small potted plant she had failed to notice. He jumped and turned towards the sound, gasping at the sight of the hidden blonde.
“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t see it,” She mumbled as she hopped off the edge, his eyes wide as she stepped towards him.
“Don’t worry, it was a gift,” His tone was light and he held her paler hand to pull her away from the broken clay pot before she could step on it. She nodded and made a quick turn to leave before his grip held her in place.
“I really can’t stay, Natsu,” Her voice was slightly broken, eyes watering as they turned to face his own desperate ones.
“P-Please, Luce. I can’t let you go... at least come inside, f-for some coffee.”
They sat at the table, the air still as Natsu poured her a mug full, sitting across from her with a small smile.
“What’s his name?” She asked solemnly.
“Hikari,” He rose his head to meet her still red eyes. “You love the stars so much, I make sure to teach him about them every day.”
“Is he...?” She motioned to herself and he nodded, heartbreaking a bit as she confirmed her suspicions.
“He can live without it, but he gets red eyes and fangs all the same. There’s a lot about himself that you can teach him.”
“You know I can’t do that,” She strained, standing up to turn away from him, his hand quickly latching onto her wrist before she could make it outside again.
“Please, Lucy.” His voice was stiff and determined, pulling her back against his chest. “Stay...I need you.”
“I don’t want to hurt you,” She sniffled, turning to hug him as her chest racked with cries.
“And I can tell that you haven’t eaten in weeks, please. I can help you, I want you to eat.” He begged, pulling her from his chest to make eye contact with her. He rubbed her cheeks with his thumb to wipe away her tears, kissing her softly on her forehead.
The pair walked into the bathroom, sitting on the tile floor as Natsu unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his neck to her. She shuddered as she fell into his lap, her eyes shaking as they held each other. Her nose filled with his scent as she dipped her head into the nape of his neck, groaning as she bit into his skin. Lucy felt herself slip into a frenzy, arms desperate to hold onto him as she fed on him. Her tongue knew his flavor well, fell in love with it even as she gulped it down ferociously, refusing to let go even as he weakly scratched at her to stop. She panted as she regained her thoughts, pulling away from Natsu to make sure he was okay. Blood dripped down her chin and stained into the top of her dress as well as his own bare chest.
“S-See, I hurt you,” Her bottom lip trembled, Natsu shaking his head as he regained his strength.
“Y-You were hungry, I’m okay,” He smiled and pulled himself to sit up in a better position, his wound already healing. “Help me clean up?”
Lucy moaned as Natsu pressed her roughly against the wall of the standalone shower, their lips finding each other in a passionate embrace, both needy to release the built-up tension between the two, hot water pelting down on them and pushing their fervor. She hungrily bit at his bottom lip, his tongue slipping out to caress her own, Lucy eager to share her own. He trailed down her neck and to her chest, fondling her sensitive breasts and marking them to remind her of their relationship.
“I love you so much, Lucy,” He groaned against her skin, his tongue rolling over her pert nipples, teasing her and pulling throaty moans from her. She flinched as his lips dotted her stomach and took a moment to press his forehead against her. “I’m so thankful you gave Hikari to me, he’s everything I could have asked for.”
“I come to see him,” She admitted, looking down as Natsu continued to press soft kisses to her belly, his eyes wide as they glanced up to meet hers. “Whenever you’re asleep, just through the window though. I don’t want to wake him up.”
“I know he’d love you, please don’t leave us again.” He pleaded and spread her legs, parting her lower lips to pleasure her. Lucy cried out and her body quaked under his ministrations, addicted to the sweet taste of her wet folds. His fingers pressed against her dripping core, slowly slipping one in before the other, his tongue lashing against her quivering bud. She threaded her fingers in his hair as he lapped at her, legs growing weak as he pushed her closer to the edge. Natsu moaned as she came into his hand, falling to her knees and back into his arms.
“I-I don’t want to hurt you,” She mumbled, leaning forward to kiss him tenderly, eyes raking over the faded scar on his neck.
“I know you won’t, and I don’t care if you need me for food, Luce. I can’t spend another day apart from ya,”
Hikari woke the next morning to the thick scent of what he could pick out in the air, pancakes, sugared strawberries, bacon, and his favorite fruit juice. He dragged his blanket with him as he got up, sitting down to put on his plushie slippers before walking out of his bedroom. He was slow in his approach, surprised to hear his father talking to someone else so early in the morning.
“Papa? Did Auntie Erza come over?” He asked, surprised to see a blonde haired woman sitting at their table instead of the usual red-haired guest. “It’s night time lady!”
“You know her, Hikari?” Natsu asked as he paused his pancake flipping, Lucy also surprised by his statement.
“I smell her all the time,” He grinned as he walked up to her, smiling as he hugged her leg. “She always smells so sweet!”
“Guess he got your nose too,” Natsu chuckled, ruffling his son’s hair. “I’d like to introduce you to your mama, Hikari.”

Comfort has Come Forth from Main Street Kapitolyo!
Having a terrible day? We get that sometimes all you wanna do is eat all your worries away until you’re full and have forgotten why your day was so bad because all you can think about is how good that meat your chewing is. Trust us, we know.
There’s no shame in finding comfort in food. Anyone who says otherwise can back off. No hate, but you probably never had a taste of food that can make you forget your name. You should. And here in Kapitolyo, we’ve found a spot that hits all the right spot in our hearts and palate!
Nothing says comfort like the feeling of being home, and stepping into Main Street, you’ll instantly feel relaxed with their cozy interiors. Plus, they provide a spacious place for their customers. This spot has the look of a comfy cafe, but with heavy meals!
Starting with a light dishl, Main Street is serving Cajun Spiced Prawn Salad, made with mixed greens and cajun spiced grilled prawns that gives the meal an extra zing. Who knew salads could spice up your world this good?!
If you’re looking for something extra, this Canadian place has a Poutinerie selection that’s sure to satisfy you. We tried out their overloaded Bacon Poutine, and our jaws dropped over this mix of fries, applewood smoked bacon bits, and mozzarella cheese curds that are SMOTHERED in beef gravy!
Since we already started with bacon, why not have a bacon frenzy with their Double Bacon Burger? With double the flavor, this burger has stacks of applewood smoked bacon sitting on top of a beef patty. It comes with house-made bacon jam and arugula that gives a herby taste through all the richness, for a balanced flavor. This is definitely the (bae)con for us.
For the main attraction, Main Street has a plate of Steak & Fries that’s a total crowd favorite. What with the grilled Kitayama flank steak paired with chunky fries. Each bite of this steak flaunts 10-10-10 in juiciness, beefiness, and texture!
Next up, a dish that is a winner on so many levels, the Hoisin Ribs is a mouthful of amazing flavors! This 8-hour baby back rib has meat falling off its bone. The honey hoisin sauce makes the outer layer slightly caramelized and sticky, it’s so indulgent to eat!
Since we’re talking about comfort, we wouldn’t miss out on the staple comfort food that brings joy to all our hearts, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken! What do comfort and chicken have in common? The letter “C” and “C” stands for “Crispy” because this Southern-style chicken is so crispy you can hear it from outer space! (Okay, maybe not outer space. But it’s crispy okay?)
If you’re a seafood fanatic looking for food involving the flavors of the sea, here’s a pasta that’s perfect for you. Imagine an Aglio Olio pasta married with a festival of mussels and prawns, showered with parmesan. That’s exactly what this Prawn and Mussels Pasta is giving you!
You know what they say, there’s always room for dessert. And we made sure we have plenty of room for this Blueberry Cheesecake! A classic New York style cheesecake topped with an overloaded serving of blueberry compote. It’s a perfect way to end a heavy meal!
Our final take? Main street is definitely our main stop for comfort food. And this restaurant is a perfect place to indulge in good food any day of the week whether you’re by yourself or with friends and family!

What Makes Traditional Italian Pizzas Special
Tumblr media
Pizza is a food that is served all over the world. With all the numerous variations each country made, many people are unaware of what an authentic Italian pizza looks and tastes like. Although the adaptations are undeniably delicious, it’s still important that people know the original.
None does pizza like the Italians. This dish has been a staple of Italian culture and heritage dating back to the 16th century. For them, it is not just a dish but a celebration of sensational flavors that’ll make you say che buono! From there, it was interpreted in various ways all over the world.
But really, what makes an authentic gourmet pizza from an Italian restaurant so special?
In comparison to pizza adaptations in other countries, authentic Italian pizzas are always baked with the freshest ingredients in a steaming hot wood-fired oven. The base is an art with a crispier, thinner dough and the sauce is made from freshly peeled tomatoes blanched with salt, basil, and virgin olive oil. Unlike pizzas served in other countries, Italian pizzas have an impeccable quality, aroma, and delectable taste.
The toppings are one of the properties that set it apart from other mimics. Instead of pepperoni, bacon, or certain types of meat, you’ll see an entirely different niche of toppings such as artichokes, truffles, eggplants, capers, and others. Rather than shredded cheese, you’ll see slabs of gooey buffalo mozzarella or large discs of prosciutto. Lastly, Italian pizzas are usually drizzled with olive oil to achieve their aromatic smell.
Now that you know what makes an authentic Italian pizza so special, wear your chef’s hat and create your own! If you’re not in the mood for a kitchen frenzy, you can also order one at a local Italian restaurant along with a cup of Brunswick coffee.
Here at Cirelli & Co , we value freshness and high-quality ingredients. We are an intimate Italian Restaurant, Bakery & Pizza shop in Brunswick whose mission is to bring joy and happiness to every table. Contact us at our official website to book your orders today. https://cirellico.com.au
