“christmas morning”

𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦

a deep yawn escapes your lips as you began fluttering your eyelashes, the sweet aroma of cinnamon rolls and christmas pine had finally arrived. scanning the room you notice nothing different about the burrow, but something feels.. different. you began to stretch your arms and legs; reaching towards the side table to alert your alarm clock of your morning. you quickly slipped on your bunny slippers, heading towards the bathroom. of course, a line. with five brothers and a sister always clogging up the toilets and taking up space you rarely had time to even walk close to the bathroom let alone use it. you pound on the door, “wait a minute!” a familiar voice calls out, “ron, hurry!” you whine, pounding against the doorframe once again. to no avail there is silence, storming back towards your shared room in the burrow, grabbing your back up supplies and heading towards the downstairs bathroom was your only hope. you quickly took a comb to your hair, “jeez.. guess i slept hard” you thought, combing out the curls and the knots from a hard nights rest, you headed downstairs. “goodmorning mum!” you called out to your mother, patiently away in the kitchen. “is the bathroom occupied?” you ask, molly replying with a soft and sweet - “i thought all the boys were upstairs, darling!” the assurance of a bathroom being alone was one of the simple things in life worth fighting for. gripping the door handle you pull towards you, finding neville washing his hands. you quickly yelp, shutting the door behind you. you ran over towards your mother in shock, “why.. why is neville here mother?” you squeak out, almost in full panic mode. “he’s here to spend the day with ron and harry. don’t be rude.” she sneers, placing pancakes along multitudes of different sized plates. you groan, hiding behind the bathroom door as you wait for it to become unoccupied. neville soon walks out, finding ron and harry at the table enjoying their pancakes. molly soon calls for everyone to come by, placing of course, neville next to you. once you feel you look at least slightly presentable, you sigh, calming yourself down before walking towards the table. taking your seat next to neville you mutter, “sorry about ealier.. i.. assumed nobody was in that room..” a smile spreads across his cheeks, a bright rose blush connecting both of you.

“it’s.. it’s okay y/n.. i’m actually really glad to see you.. i.. um.. well, i brought you a gift.” he explains, “it’s in my bag, but i’ll show you after..” he slyly says, making sure nobody else caught on. you nod, enjoying your meal in anticipation as to what he could have brought. a few hours pass by, leaving you and ginny on the couch, crafting a puzzle with your mother and father. a soft knock erupts from the side of the wall, neville appears asking for you by name. “y/n.. do you mind?” he asks, outreaching his palm. you quickly stand, looking towards ginny and mum for a push to go. they quickly smile in a playful manner, shooing you away. “yeah.. nevile?” you question, him taking you towards the front porch area. “this is for you.” he smiles, handing you a gift wrapped in a soft pink bow. “you.. you know you didn’t have to, neville..” you blush, “i know.. now open it!” he giggles, handing it towards you to sit with him. opening the present you see a pair of mittens knitted with a y/l/n on it, in a soft pink color, and a matching beanie.

“oh.. neville, i love it!” you blush, smiling sweetly as you pull the tall boy into an embrace. you began to feel him blush against you, embracing you in more. when you both began backing up slightly, you interlocked eyes, and for a moment the world was a still haze in a christmas movie, surrounded by the sweet nip of cold weather, but the warm embrace of a lover - you leaned in, pressing your lips against his in a quick motion. his eyes widened as he leaned into the kiss. “y/n! neville!” you heard in unison, interupting quite possibly the best moment of your life. “inside!” the twins yelled, both of you groan, you placing a soft kiss against his lips as you thank him once again, pulling him backinside with the gift placed in your hands.

Program: you’ll never walk alone

Wow, truly they shined in this nearly flawless program, and honestly the only thing that is going to improve this program is time, repetitions and these two staying healthy 🙏🏻 I cannot tell you the number of times I have teared up watching Riku and Ryuichi’s smile light up the rink during their step sequences, and tonight was no exception. Even with the stiffness and slight unsureness that was present up until the stsq due to lack of repetitions and caution regarding injuries, the sheer difference in skating skills and presence on ice compared to the rest of the field was unparalleled. (And the score showed it). Looking forward to seeing their Free Skate which is an even more powerful vessel for them <3

“My job is important not boring.” He said frowning.

I worked in a hospital. As the evening Supervisor for the food service department one of my jobs was to lock up the department then have security come and verify that it was locked.

I walked into one of the big confernce rooms to make sure it was clean and turn off the lights. There was a man standing next to the podium. He was an old man with gray hair. He was wearing a brown pants a light shirt and an old golf hat. He also had a cane. He seemed as real as everyone else.

I thought he was lost so as I reproached him I asked if I could help him. He did not reply, but smiled at me. I asked again and again he didn't reply but nodded. I asked if he was lost and needed help finding something. As I spoke I drew closer to him so by this point I was only about six feet away from him. I asked again if I could help him and he just smiled at me. Turned away and walked through the solid brick wall.

I was so shocked it took me a few seconds to react. I went to the wall and pushed on it but, as I said it was solid (and cold). I went out into the hall and looked at the otherside of the wall. There was no one there. I went backinside, turned off the lights and locked up the room.

When I went back to my staff who were finishing their chores they all asked if I was okay because I was evidently very pale.

When they were done and clocked out I called security for their final walk through. When we came to that conference room the door was still locked but the light was on. The security guy unlocked the room, turned off the light and locked it back up. He then walked me out to my car. On our way past the window to that room we both stopped and looked at each other. The light was on again. Neither of us went back to turn it off again that night.

Program: Nyah (MII2 soundtrack)

So much stronger in their elements, skating skills and performance than their first Grand Prix. Really on top of their music today, just still dealing with small consistency issues. Overall great work to put them into first place. Even with a fall, their levels and maturity in their skating (PCS) gives them the edge over McIntosh/Mimar with only the favorites left to skate.
