"As someone who was tricked and corrupted into a soul-stealer, the idea of someone willingly selling their soul is one of, if not the, stupidest thing I think someone could do. Most normal people live for...what? 70? 80 or so years, give or take. So unless you made a deal for immortality--and even THEN, it's not like there's a guarantee you won't end up being killed somehow eventually, maybe even by the being you made the deal with, so they can collect on their end of it faster, you're going to die eventually, and then what??! You'll spend the rest of eternity being tortured in some sort of hell. Sounds like a raw deal to me."

#ahit rp #sasa! au #fnaf rp #tw: soul-stealing mention #tw: murder mention #back when i worked in belize's oceana branch (oh yeah i briefly worked with oceana. so that was cool.)#i would go from island to island talking to business owners about the sargasso (seaweed if you didn't know) washing up on the beaches #and how it was affecting their business; what they thought was causing it; etc.#this one time i talked to a guy who ran a bar/restaurant; and at one point i asked if he thought the sargasso was due to global warming #and i am NOT EVEN KIDDING; this guy pulled out his phone to record me and the guy i was working with talking about climate change #because he was just ECSTATIC to meet someone who ACTUALLY believed in global warming/climate change #i don't think i'll ever forget that one #but yeah--speaking from personal experience most belize citizens are ignorant/not knowledgeable on...a LOT of things #can't says i'm surprised most don't believe in global warming/climate change #sorry to ramble aldsfjasdfldsf
