genuinely why is darkrai's category the "Pitch-Black Pokemon" that bitch has 4 colors to its name and 3 of them are decidedly Not Black

there weren't any pokemon whose category was "the nightmare pokemon" or "the darkness pokemon" (either of which would fit Darkrai better imo, & "darkness pkmn" is actually bulbapedia's translation of its japanese category name) and there still aren't any with those categories. why the hell is darkrai the Pitch-Black Pokemon
