Led my first child group yesterday. It was so interesting to watch all their behaviors and personalities unfold. Still working on being assertive, but I think I’m building on that--little by little. One child had such a sad detailed story about a little cat stuck in a shelter, all alone, unable to be adopted. My heart sank a bit. Running groups will steadily challenge me, balancing and meeting the needs of all the different personalities in the room. I’m a work in progress.

For once, I didn’t have anything negative to say about myself... And my anxiety was sky high, think that alone is showing growth. I’m proud of myself.
