Hi, Oxi! Do you have any hcs of Martín meeting his neighbours for the first time?

I’m sure the kids met before Antonio got a grip of them all, but since I hc Tinchito remembers almost nothing from his days before being a colony, I’d share my hcs of when Antonio introduced his colonies among each other. First I’ll share two that are widely spread among LH’s community and that I find particularly charming:

Uruguay was a bitter during the early days. I just love this hc, Baby Sebastián was a menace of a child and I kinda imagine Baby Tinchito carrying him around in his arms and being very “It’s ok, that’s how he shows affection” as he pretends Sebitas’ tiny teeth nibbling at his hand don’t hurt.

Chile wouldn’t let Antonio lay a hand on his hair so Manuel wore it very long during his early time as a colony, so when Toño introduced them Martín mistook him for some girl. It took a fist in the nose and angry Chilean screaming for him to learn that the kid from the other side of the Andes was no girl but another boy. And I hc this event was what made Manuel agree to get his hair cut.

I can’t take credit for those two, but on a personal note;

I hc Tincho and Miguel didn’t get along too well, and I imagine Tinchito deciding he didn’t like him like hate at first sight. Peru was the only Vicerroyalty in the South for a long time and I think that made Martín a little jealous. Aditionally, it meant Martín was part of Peru and should listen to him, which totally didn’t sit right by him. On top of that, I hc Miguelito was a rather proud bossy kid during that era, and Tincho was (is) not a fan of authorities and being bossed around and thus he challenged him a lot.

Martín met Luciano when kids this one time under Spain and Port's careful supervision. Upon hearing Lulu's Portuguese, he pointed out his Spanish was very funny, not in a mocking or unkind way but definately not the right thing to say. Lulu got upset by the remark and sulked back at him like the whinny bratty baby he was. He then refused to talk or play with Martín, which Tinchito took as personal offense and decided he didn’t like Lulu very much either. Not the best of starts.

I have no hc for Paraguay or Bolivia. I guess he had no issue with Daniel, and with Julio I’m sure it was hate at first sight very much like it happened with Miguel.
