An AU where Lucifer and Adam fall in love after Lilith fled the garden yet went back to convince Adam to join them, in this universe, Lilith convinced Adam and he joined their revolution. Lucifer falls in love with Adam during their time planning, he tells Lilith and she understands. Eventually with time heaven finds out about this whole entire thing, including Adam and Lucifer's now growing relationship/ family. And lastly Lucifer is given a hard gut wrenching choice. To pick choosing to save Adam and their son instead of keeping his memories of falling in love with Adam. The consequences of chosing this option is that both Lucifer and Adam would forget their history together as if it never existed, the gain from this? Heaven doesn't have to get rid of Adam and Abel.

Eve basically raised Abel as her own without the knowledge that she did not birth him unlike Cain. Adam continues being the chosen one to father all humanity alongside Eve, his wife. And ends up growing resentful towards Abel thinking he was the result of Eve’s and Lucifer's affair as Abel looked and acted identical to Lucifer. Eve obviously denied everything but Adam was too blinded by rage and betrayal to believe her word for it. Eve knew Abel was Adam's but deep inside she felt no genuine connection to Abel like a mother would have to their child. But she loved Abel regardless.

And as for Lucifer, he has no knowledge of Abel being his son neither does he hold any feelings for Adam. He remembers nothing.

The moment Adam dies however, Lucifer regains his memories, immediately, his heart shattered into pieces. And also, he so desperately wants to reconnect with his son afterwards.

You ever think Adam has nightmares about what happened with Cain and Abel? You think he blames himself for not being able to stop it? You think he believes Eve blamed him in some capacity for what happened? Maybe she did.

I think he might’ve- he just can’t actually admit it. Only time he really can is in the turmoil of his own mind.

Abel must feel so weird about Lute and Vaggie.

He can't deny he's not a fan of Lute, either her as a person, or the fact that, despite Adam flat out denying it when Abel asks his father if he's got any feelings for his lieutenant, he knows that Lute is as close to a third wife as Adam has ever had. Meaning she really is the closest thing to a "true" replacement for Abel's mother.

His feelings towards Vaggie are more....complicated. Part of him wants to hate her, because she's the result of his father "cheating" on his mother (the fact that they've both been dead basically since the beginning of time, and Eve ended up in Hell while Adam went to Heaven is something Abel chooses to ignore). But he also felt it was wrong to hate a child - his own (half) sister at that - for something she literally had no control over. So he sort of found a compromise in his actions. He never sought her out, but whenever they did happen upon each other, he was always polite and did come to enjoy getting to know her, at least a little.

He did wonder what happened to her when she (as far as most of Heaven knew) went "missing" and was declared dead by the seraphim, but also knew he couldn't ask anyone, not without having to doubt it the answer he got was going to be true in the first place.

*it had been a couple years since Adam and Eve were thrown out of Eden for tasting the Forbidden Fruit, they recently had a twin boys together, Cain a boy looked so much like Adam and Abel a boy who looked so much like Eve, the pregnancy was a painful event because Eve claimed that she tricked Adam into taking a bite of the fruit even though he made the choice on his own because he didn’t want to lose someone else he loved because she didn’t want him to be punished, he was woken to the boys crying, he got up because Eve needed her sleep and made his way to where the babies slept and to his shock, Lilith was standing over the small bed Adam made for them, she was still beautiful, but in a twisted way, she now had large red horns coming from her head and large red bat like wings, she wore a crown and a deep purple gown*

Adam: What are you doing here Lilith?

Lilith: In order to be Queen of Hell with my beloved Lucifer, I was cursed to not be able to bear children of my own. Lucifer wants to be a father and I think that these beautiful little babies will be the perfect Princes of Hell. If you love Lucifer like you say, you would be willing to sacrifice them to make him happy.

Adam: Fucking stay away from Cain and Abel!!!!!!!!

Lilith: We definitely have to change their names.

*Adam charged at Lilith and she grabbed him by the wrists, now that she was a demon she had super human strength and Adam screamed while the bones in his wrists were cracking, Lilith held him up by the wrists and slammed him into the ground*

Lilith: Why fight when you can just have more children of your own.

*Lilith started to mercilessly beat him, tears started to fall from Adam’s eyes while he wondered why Lucifer could choose her over him, he hated the fact that he couldn’t protect the wife and children he loved dearly, suddenly the beating stopped and Lilith screamed, even though it hurt to move, he moved himself up a little to see Eve standing over a cowering Lilith, in Eve’s trembling hands was the angelic sword of Michael which he had given to the couple after they had been thrown out of Eden to protect them in case something like this happened, Adam was impressed to see that Eve had snuck up behind Lilith and cut off her wings, since it was angelic steel, the wings would never grow back*

Eve: As my husband said, fucking stay away from Cain and Abel. Also if you lay another hand on the man I love, I will end you and you won’t be able to be reunited with your husband.

Lilith: Fine, I will have a child one way or another. Besides I don’t understand how this hideous creature inspires such loyalty in you, I at least have better taste in men and I am not an imitation of who Adam really wants.

Eve: Lucifer chose you over Adam, I have to question his tastes. I know Adam loves Lucifer and if the world had been fair to Adam, Lucifer would have loved him the same way. But I know that Adam loves me the same way as he loves Lucifer and anyone who is loved by Adam is a very lucky person. I feel sorry for Lucifer when all he has is you when he could have had so much better.

*Lilith just spat at Adam and disappeared, Eve ran to Adam and held him in a way that wouldn’t cause him more pain*

Adam: Eve please know that I love you so much.

*it hurt Adam to speak, but he had to say it*

Eve: Don’t speak, I know how much you love me. Someone please come help Adam, I can’t lose him.

*to the surprise of the couple, one of the Archangels, Raphael, who was a healer came to heal Adam’s wounds, Adam thought that he would have been abandoned by God and the other angels like how Lucifer abandoned him, as he was being healed he wondered if Lucifer told Lilith to steal his babies with Eve because they couldn’t have their own and if Lilith had truly poisoned his first love against him*

Abel’s eyes were gold at birth. 

Bright, vivid, celestial gold, a color that tugged viciously at Adam’s heart. The rest of the baby was mottled red skin, tiny curled toes and fists and a mouth squalling loudly at the skies, human like his mother. 

The eyes told a different story, and Adam swallowed sharply as Eve clutched the child to her chest, giving him a look so wary he wanted to lash out at her for it. What right did she have to stare at him like that, like a monster lying in wait, when the mess that brought that thing disguised as a child was her own fault? 

“We’ll call him Abel,” Eve said, like she was daring him to speak. To point out that he was the one responsible for naming. 

He wouldn’t name what wasn’t his. 

Adam wordlessly turned away and rose to tend to the crops he’d planted, needing the stability of earth in his hands. Maybe that would wash away the sting of another betrayal, sharper than the edge of the flint blade he’d just begun to fashion. 

“Adam?” Exhaustion hung on Eve’s voice, but he could hear that rising tone of fear. “Where are you going?” The baby in her arms wailed, inconsolable. 

There wasn’t anywhere else he could go.

So besides Charlie and Vaggie how was everyones reaction to Alastor being back again and his current condition? Especially Adam and Able? And has Alastor already seen Lumi and Calli again? Considering he is playing with his dolls as if they where his children, maybe this is related to his internal longing to be with his children? Maybe seeing them again could have a positiv impact on his condition, if he starts to recognise them as his children and feels the connection to them. Also how are you handeling Alastor during Abels Baby shower. I guess even if his mental state is regressed on the outside it could trigger something in his subconsciousness and worsen his condition.

Reactions to Alastor’s Return

When Alastor returned to the hotel in his regressed state, the reactions varied widely:

Husk, ever the cynic, initially rolled his eyes at the whole situation. Despite his gruffness, Husk has a soft spot for those in need, and he’s been quietly helping, often leaving drinks for Lucifer or keeping the bar open late to offer a semblance of normalcy.

Niffty was more upbeat but also awkward. She greeted Alastor cheerily, treating him like an innocent child. However, her tendency to overdo it sometimes makes him shy away from her energy.

Angel was torn between laughing at how surreal it was and feeling genuinely bad for Alastor. Surprisingly, Angel has tried to comfort Alastor, treating him gently and even trying to play along with his “mommy” games in a teasing but harmless way.

Adam was initially furious. Seeing Alastor after what had happened with Verena stirred a mix of emotions—anger, grief, and even guilt.

Adam (to Lucifer): You brought him back here? After everything? Do you have any idea what this is like for me? I can barely handle carrying this baby as it is, and now I have to see him every day?

Lucifer tried to reassure him, explaining that Alastor’s condition was a result of severe trauma and that he was no longer a threat.

Abel, on the other hand, was more reserved.

Abel (to Adam): He doesn’t even seem to know who he is right now. I don’t think he’s capable of hurting anyone in this state. But... yeah, it’s weird. Really weird.

Despite his wariness, Abel’s innate compassion made him more open to the idea of giving Alastor space to recover.

One afternoon, Lucifer tentatively brought Lumiere and Calliope into the room where Alastor was sitting on the floor, arranging a tea party with his teddy bear and toy dishes.

The moment Alastor saw the two babies, his eyes lit up.

Alastor: Oh! Little ones! Are they here to play?

He reached out his hands, but Lucifer held back, cautious.

Lucifer: These are Lumiere and Calliope, Alastor. Do you remember them?

Alastor tilted his head, studying the infants curiously.

Alastor: "They’re... mine? My babies?"

Lucifer nodded slowly, kneeling beside him.

Lucifer: Yes, Alastor. They’re your children. Do you want to hold them?

Alastor hesitated, clutching his teddy bear tightly.

Alastor: I... I’m scared. What if they don’t like me?

Lucifer smiled gently, handing Calliope to him first.

Lucifer: They’ll love you, Alastor. Just like they always have.

As soon as Calliope was in his arms, Alastor’s demeanor softened. He cradled her carefully, humming a soft tune as she giggled and reached for his face. Lumiere toddled over, tugging at Alastor’s sleeve.

For the first time since his regression, Alastor’s expression shifted into something more familiar—calm and focused.

During Abel’s Baby Shower @fallen-abel

The baby shower was a challenge. Lucifer debated whether to keep Alastor away but ultimately decided to include him under close supervision.

Lucifer (to Charlie and Vaggie): "We can’t shelter him forever. Being around others might help trigger his recovery. But we’ll keep an eye on him, just in case."

At the event, Alastor mostly kept to himself, sitting in a corner with his teddy bear. He watched the festivities with a mix of curiosity and confusion, occasionally murmuring to himself.

When the attention turned to Abel opening gifts, Alastor’s expression darkened momentarily, his grip tightening on his bear. Lucifer immediately noticed and knelt beside him.

Lucifer: Alastor, are you all right?

Alastor blinked, then nodded slowly.

Alastor: I feel... funny. Like something’s wrong, but I don’t know what.

Lucifer placed a hand on his shoulder.

Lucifer: That’s okay. Just breathe. You’re safe here.

After the reveal of Abel, I'm like. So tempted to write a fanfic of Adam being a father to him. Obsessed with the idea of father Adam. Especially if he made reader the new mother (genderless mother, just the new parental role in place of Eve.)

I just. Abel has such SpongeBob energy tbh. Especially with the outfit being like the bubble bowl episode lmao. He's so cute and I'm already in love with this precious baby boy and have adopted him as my own.

He even has an A on his hat like his daaaaad!!!!!! I just like to imagine fatherly Adam. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
