6️⃣th adjustment! I got upgraded to a thicker wire on my bottom teeth and....🖇 POWERCHAINS 🔗 to close up those small gaps. The pressure is definitely on but nothing some ice cream can't cure! 🤗 Dr. Doug is awesome 🙌🏼😁 @drdougortho (Powerchains are gray and my top rubber bands are baby blue)

Me. One month officially with ceramic braces. Eating is getting easier but I find myself not eating as much cause its just too much work to clean my teeth out. My first orthodontist appointment isn't until the end of the month. I cant wait to change my ligatures cause theyre stained! They got new ones that wont stain as bad but are still tooth colored. Ive been good about staying away from foods that stain but I love my coffee! I hope I get rubber bands. Just ready to make some progress with these things. I fantasize about the day I get them off and have a perfect smile. Only eleven more months!

#bracesupdate - don't care if it's geeky 🙈 my front two teeth are aligning woop . Right canine tooth is twisted out and my bottoms are crowded . getting there though . I'm keen to get top and bottom four teeth filed down so it's a super straight line - they look Childish with the ridges 👎🏻 . Also Has anyone had gum contouring/trimming ? As real as it gets! 7️⃣ months with my braces and every day I am AMAZED at how much my teeth have changed. Yet, when I take these progress photos I can't help but get all critical and see some of my flaws instead of all the progress I've made. 😰I feel like my smile is crooked somehow or maybe it's my teeth that are quite slanted a bit, I'm not quite sure. I also see that my first two teeth - one is slightly lower than the other. 🙄🤔 my last molar is also not aligned with the rest of my teeth so that worries me! 😅 But, I'm confident these things can be fixed thru out this journey! So far, so good. I'm having a hard time trying to keep them as white as possible because I do drink coffee (can't live without it) but I do brush daily and TRY to floss every 2-3 days. My waterpik is really a life saver, idk how I would've gone without it. Lastly, I'm thinking for my next adjustment I will do color bands on the top and bottom. Possibly pink or purple 🤗 (Might as well have some fun with them since I still have a long way to go lol) 🤗 Anywho, how are all my adult braces faces doing with your progress? 😄

7 months with braces ☺️ my next adjustment is May 27 and I think I might be getting power chains to close my gaps! 🙏🏼😁
