I find this really funny. Shadow milk is less of a manipulator and more of a chaotic and cheeky character in my au, so meeting crepe, who is expecting a war criminal, and gets a smiley child. The swap au is mine and the BAAU is owned by @cuppajj

It’s been a series of inconveniences for Shadow Milk. In some ways, he’d been dealt a worse hand than his peers. Having his body completely destroyed, he’s been relegated once again to being a mere specter. Not the best circumstance to be in when threatened by the so-called Herald of Penance, as they stand diametrically opposed to each other; but it’s alright… the former ancient hero has hurt many in his wake of salvation, hasn’t he? Perhaps one of those sad victims of his could help the poor old poet. Ideally, one who who’d be willing to work side by side with him despite his notoriety, and one who dedicates themselves so neatly to Knowledge…

Ah! They’ll do just fine. A lonely little child prodigy, sole witness to the Beast’s rise? While they’re still a shut in, more keen on following a lost prince around, and skeptical of his wishes, Shadow Milk can be patient, just for them. After all, it’s not like he’s got a lot of good options, and he knows their curious little mind won’t have them wary forever. They’ll hear him out eventually, and besides… they’ve got quite the mechanical talent, and Shadow Milk just so happens to be lacking a body!

Until then and thereafter, he promises, he’ll keep them safe and alert. He prefers his prodigy alive and on their two feet, after all. What for? Well, they only know so much now, but if they want to really know their potential, all they need to do is call for him, and he’ll show them how deep the well of Knowledge truly goes.

I've been thinking about this. Especially with strawberry Crepe being with Shadow Milk in Basu AU. If you manage to ask a question during shadow milk's good mood, he will slide into a lecture mode. And he's a pretty good teacher. The more he gets into the lecture, the more he slowly slides from the Mad Clown to Fun Professor. The kind that students love and keep engaged in class.

Awww cute thought! I think Crepe and Shmilk have a good dynamic in that sense, with Crepe able to listen to the beast freely and go into lecture mode. Not gonna lie there are definitely times where they look a little teacher-pupil, when Crepe isn’t as bewildered by him but instead receptive to him. They shouldn’t feel this way because they’re fully aware he’s a beast himself; but then again, when Shmilk poses no threat to them, why wouldn’t they be invested by his knowledge? Especially when he no longer acts that flamboyant, it almost feels oddly normal. No doubt Crepe would’ve been a good student if the dark flour war hadn’t destroyed their chances of attending school

Perhaps it would be during one of Shadow Milk lecture modes, that strawberry Crepe got a glimpse of who he might've once been. Not sure how shadow milk himself would feel about that though. A trait of his past that's still there.

One can only imagine what Shadow Milk would feel about it, but I wonder, if him being the first Headmaster is true, if he thinks Crepe would’ve made a great student.

People are speculating that Awakened Pure Vanilla is actually Corrupted Pure Vanilla (also seeing that Shadow Milk Cookie is in his pre corrupted skin) Just wondering, if that is Corrupted Pure Vanilla, would Saint Vanilla still be canon in your Au, or would you use this Vanilla, but take characteristics from him for Saint

Not gonna lie, I don’t really buy that PV is going to corrupt? At least story wise. It would be really cool if it happens don’t get me wrong, but I dunno if Devsis would do that, esp with one of the leaked pictures being (likely) Vanilla’s new skin looming over a defeated-looking shmilk. My speculation is that if it’s a skin but not an awakened form, it’ll be something similar to White Lily’s moonflower faerie costume. She canonically transformed into it in the story, but it wasn’t her awakened form, just something she wore as she kicked Shmilk’s ass.

But regardless, if PV corrupts here, the answer is no, Saint would still be his own thing because the way he corrupts is different from how PV would hypothetically corrupt in his theory. It’s likely Shadow Milk would play more of a direct role in the corruption here, but in BAAU, PV corrupts from a mixture of things; Shadow Milk is part of it, but not as much as watching his friends before him turn into Beasts. At the very least there could be some design references, but nothing drastic would change, if the corruption theory is right at all. Which tbh I just don’t believe, as cool as it would be to see.

(I will say, Vani does look like he has saints colors here and I find that pretty funny)

While I was thinking about my BAAU fan story, "The Marking of the Saint," a question popped into my mind during my bus ride home: Can Saint Vanilla Cookie purify anyone, even if they're immortal? My original character, Rosemary Dragon Cookie, is immortal because she has a solar celestial being named the Solar Phoenix inhabiting her dough. The main focus of my question is this: Can Saint Vanilla Cookie purify immortal cookies?

Yes he can, as long as they have a soul! Immortals can still be purified and that’s why the other neobeasts are still on edge. The only one who is invulnerable, at least for a time, is Shadow Milk

Is wind archer apart of the Beast Au? Since in the cookie run kingdom storyline, Wind archer went on a mission to find out what happening with the life force, there he stumbles upon researchers, shadow milk, (You know the rest) and then he stumbles upon the ultimate cookie. So i have two questions. what's your plan for wind archer and two what's your idea for the ultimate cookie? (Bonus question, What happened to Espresso Cookie?)

I’m leaving the canonicity of the ultimate cookie in the air for now since that heavily relies on the currently-incomplete timeline (in canon, the UC is made because of specific circumstances, but if those aren’t met in baau then there’s no ultimate cookie)

However, without getting into too much detail because it’s still a wip, yes Wind Archer is planned to have a bit of an active role in baau. He’ll serve as a different, perhaps conflicting perspective, with his own ways of tackling the beast issue that are different from others’. He’s for the right cause, but he may initially be a bit of an antagonist.

I plan to write a bit about Espresso later so I won’t answer now
