If I may add in a bit - the problem I believe is that we most of us are raised in a society that imprints onto us that she/her is bound to females and he/him to males, and now we have trouble getting over that because, as the old saying goes, old habits die hard. I suppose everyone approaches this differently, but most people will probably encounter certain doubts(oof I can't word that well) like anon. Anyways, just my thought.

yeah, for some reason ppl can’t seem to let go of the male/female binary for this one. 

like i get it, we all struggle with it bc almost all of us were socialized our whole lives to think that he/him=man and she/her=woman and i know internalized transphobia is a thing we all have to deal with, i know its hard to get over

 but i thought we were past that so im really confused why some people are so aggressive against he/him lesbians?
