Christian Scriptural Foundations for Believers are important! Since the day of Pentecost and the arrival of the Holy Spirit to infill believers, the Church has been on the march to bring the message of salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Heralding the Lords atoning death on the cross, His resurrection, Ascension, and then the coming of our Lord in the clouds with the heavenly armies of believers has been the Hope of Christians for ions. As in the days of the early church believers in Jesus Christ today have to live in the world, yet they must not be of the world.
“A Journey for those who investigate the Whirlwind of these Last Days! Bearing the Cross in the War of Ages where Faith is the Victory that overcomes the World.” "By God's grace, we endure from faith to faith; day to day and pass by from trouble to endurance to an overcomer!" "Heralding the Truth of God's' Word!" "Life Expression in its simplest form is simply life in words" -- The Watchman Dana G Smith
Christian Scriptural Foundations for Believers
Christian Scriptural Foundations for Believers face the issue of allowing worldly influences to taint the Christian testimony and faith in Jesus Christ, which is trouble. We walk as Christ would have us walk, “in the Light as He is the Light” read 1st John chapter one. By this we work and labor for the Lord, avoiding all the sin and taint of the world to corrupt us or our testimony. Followers of Christ Jesus must have certain attitudes that are scriptural, which will help us live in the world and not yet be of the world. This article is written for mature Christians in the Faith. It is not meant to cover up sin, ignore the sin of the current church, or judge the structure of the church itself. This article is also nonpolitical in design and aims to write on these topics.
(1) Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (3) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; (4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope: (5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (6) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (7) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. (8) But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Salvation:
You are saved and have Peace with God. If you do not have peace with God, then you must seek the Lord until you achieve a breakthrough. From the start of your journey in Christ, it is one of faith. This is both our belief and faith united in the truths of scripture and of our God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other God or any other way to salvation. Christ Jesus, Yeshua is the “Almighty” in Revelation chapter one. Our God and Father set Jesus Christ as the one to bring redemption and to set the Kingdom on Earth in Order according to Heavenly directives and designs. This journey is brought to you by faith in the person, work, and triumph of Jesus Christ on the Cross. On that Cross, he took your sins and mine, nailing our sins to it. Covered in the blood of Christ, you are now justified in Gods eyes. This is through your faith; God rewards you for believing and signs the free of sin declaration. You are justified, or it is just as if you never sinned. You have access to the Father, through the Son. This is one attitude you must keep with you. You are saved. It is not a blatant, bragging attitude, but one that walks with Christ. As his disciple, you bring His love and teaching to others, so they too can find this Salvation.
(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, (5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: (7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (9) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. ~~~ (1) Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Rom 5:1-2 Justified, Peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
Christian Scriptural Foundations Persistence:
We will be holy and unblameable, unreproveable in Gods sight if we continue in the faith we were brought into. We are to be grounded and settled in the facts of our faith. This comes from study of God's word, prayer, and intensive observation into the doctrines of the Word. The bottom line of God's word and its doctrine is the hope it gives to all men. This hope was brought to us by Christ on the cross. But they took him down off that cross, put him in a Tomb. Three days later He Arose from the dead, as was seen of five hundred at once. He gave final details to the Apostles as they watched Him ascend in a cloud to heaven. As they stood there watching the Lord disappear in the sky, two angels said to them “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven -Acts 1:11.” Thus, as Christian we look for the Lords return in the sky, in the clouds. This brings us hope of seeing our Lords return in the sky from the east as the sun rises from the east and moves to the west. All this is done because of our God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ loves us and gives this mercy, grace, and love to all who believe and receive Christ. As John says in chapter one of Yeshua, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” This hope presents us with grace, forgiveness, and justification! This means we are presented to God holy, unblameable, and unreproveable. Having this persistence makes us stalwart against any attacks of our faith by the enemy of faith.
(11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ~~~ (15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (19) For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; (20) And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Unmovable:
No matter the obstacle or trouble, whether by man or devil; as Christians we are not to be moved from our Faith in Jesus Christ. The Lord warned us in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13 be sure to not be deceived, as many antichrists would come in his name, saying they are Christ. In addition, there are false teachers, liars, seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils everywhere. Since the Apostles there have been individuals who have departed from the faith of the Apostles. The major shift in this departure from the faith believes not in Christ Jesus and his complete work of Salvation for men. The paramount aim for the believer then is to be unmovable on this point. That is the complete work of Soteriology, which is the salvation of humanity, through the person and work of Jesus Christ. This attitude will keep you even if those in the church are moving away from biblical doctrine. We are to be close to and stay with the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua; the Word of God, His Spirit, never moving away from the Apostolic doctrines given to the original Apostles by Christ Jesus.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. ~~~ For the mystery of iniquity doth already work only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Faithful:
We are to live by faith, during these tough times knowing if we withdraw that belief or faith then God will have no pleasure in us. Just as Habakkuk living in his day was told by God “the just shall live by faith,” so too must we. He was facing invasion by foreign armies, murder, mayhem, sin, and all kinds of evil. It is easy to get our eyes off our goal of following the Lord. But we must not let anything, or anyone stop us. Be resolute to be faithful to the end. Even if all else fails. Just as the bottom line faith says in Habakkuk chapter 3, verse 17-18 “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” This attitude will keep you in all circumstances. The bottom-line faith says in truth that “no matter the issue, trouble, danger, or any other thing that comes against me or my family I will not give into unbelief, lies, hate, or any other thing.
(35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. (37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. ~~~ (17) Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. (21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Expectation:
Without our Faith, we cannot please God, we must believe God is a rewarder of those who seek Him. In the course of your everyday walk, you must have this attitude. For what is a battle without relief? Can you go on without this Expectation? No, I do not think you can. This is the everyday, companion to bottom line faith. That little extra something in you that says, God will reward me as I seek him. God wants us to expect good things from Him. He cares about us and wants us to learn to live by faith. In that daily living, however, the Lord wants to reward us as we diligently seek him for guidance and help in everyday affairs. Expectation and Faith are friends. When we have Faith, our own Expectations come before us. As believers living in this world, we need food, clothing, shelter, and much more. One staple of human existence is to have a family. This includes children, grandchildren, and grandparents around us. In addition, we have friends in our circle of the family. It is at this point we work, labor, and walk in Christ Jesus; believing, expecting the Lord to help us provide for our family. In that need, expectation, and want; we face a realm of possibilities. The Lord wants us to be found in Him with scriptural expectation and faith, knowing that He will help you with those unsolvable troubles.
(7) But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (8) Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. ~~~ (1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (2) For by it the elders obtained a good report. (3) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (4) By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (5) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Inheritors:
I believe wholeheartedly that in this life, there are blessings along with curses. I love good things, described as nice, beautiful, wonderful, family, nature scenery, wonderful sunsets, a wonderful wife, and great kids. In addition, when I am online where I do business, I am bombarded with not-so-nice posts filled with rants, hate, and threats. I do not like that at all. It is abundantly clear that as I live in a troubled world and nation there is one item on my agenda. Realize I am a stranger and pilgrim on the earth, as such there will be events that I do not want to partake of, for instance like the coming of the Dark one in Revelation chapter thirteen, nor the great tribulation described in Revelation. I also do not want a country filled with unbelievers who hate Christians. Therefore, I must fast, pray, and work to sow the Word of God and bring these into Gods kingdom. Therefore, we follow the life of faith. I believe we cannot be without this attitude. It is the inherent knowledge that you are walking by faith, following the Lord, and no matter what happens you will be with the Lord someday. You will overcome all these troubles. In the middle of muck and mire of everyday problems, take time out to smell eternity’s roses. That little time which says you are stranger and a pilgrim on this earth. Just as America was founded by pilgrims, so too, are you today? A pilgrim on the earth, awaiting your heavenly access into the fields of eternities blest rest.
(3) And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life. (4) Rejoice in the Lord always: and again, I say, Rejoice. (5) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. (6) Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do and the God of peace shall be with you. ~~~ (11) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (13) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; (14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (15) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Believing in Miracles:
We must also realize God is still in the miracle business, someone has to believe, it might as well be us. This attitude goes with the attitude that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. This one says that miracles still happen. Just like the early believers and those around the world, miracles still happen. Ours is a miracle working God. In this, the believer is given scriptural standards for miracles. It is not an instant burger miracle. It is not a fashion statement on television. This is a supernatural reality brought into the realm of the natural world. Living in the last days, which can be evil, tough, and full of problems, let there be room for miracles as well. As for me and my family, Faith and the Supernatural miracle working God is what I believe for. The miraculous for the Apostles were expected. They were ready to lay hands on the sick for healing, cast out demons, and be ready to go to the Lord at any time you needed His miracle working power in your life. I chose to believe in the miraculous and know that all the dirty, nasty, and devilish things the world has to offer come by the hands of demons, devils, and dark powers thereof. Christ took care of all that on the cross. We are told to “resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
(13) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. (14) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: (15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much. ~~~ (15) And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Fulfillment of our faith:
The Fulfillment of our faith will be fully and finally realized when we find ourselves in Christ Jesus, with Christ Jesus, and in His Kingdom. Although today we are living in tough times the God of all who through Christ has redeemed us gives us hope that we will be kept by Gods power as long as we are in Christ Jesus. Make no mistake our salvation will be permanently revealed to us and the world. In the whole crux of the matter, this attitude will save your bacon in tough times. It is when you have gone that extra mile to believe. After you walked and trusted amidst the troubles. In the warfare of faith, doing all you can do, finally falling down and can do no more. That is when this attitude comes into being. You then realize that Christian believers in Jesus Christ are kept by the Power of God through faith. You will find salvation. It is that place when Gods power comes to the forefront and lifts you up. It enables you and keeps you. It is His grace in action and His mercy in your life. When everything fails you, Gods salvation is dependent on the power of God. That is what keeps you from falling fatally and losing it all. We will have trials of our faith, but this is more precious than gold, this will bring honor-glory-praise at the coming of Christ Jesus, and the End of our faith, which is the salvation of our souls.
(6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (9) Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (10) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. ~~~ (9) Whosoever transgresses, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (11) For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Overcomers: We are born of God and have overcome the world; the victory which overcomes the world is our faith. But it is Faith in Jesus Christ our Lord! Although the world is troubled and shaken, we need not be troubled and shaken because our hope is not in this world and is in control. We find the overcomer in you coming out. You are walking by faith, being dependent upon the Lord. Standing upon His Word and being persistently faithful. Your faith is what overcomes the world and all its temptations. This faith, which came from the Lord, as a result of trusting in Him, will make you an overcomer. No matter what arrows the world or devil may hurl at you, your faith overcomes the world, faith in Jesus Christ that is.
(5) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (5) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? ~~~ (10) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. (10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. (11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Christian Scriptural Foundations Patient to the end:
Patient to the End brings to the forefront of the Christian Walk all the persecution, troubles, and death Christians have faced since the Lord Jesus Christ walked on this earth. It, therefore, demands, behooves us, and pushes us to love one another, love our God and Father; and love our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord. In fact, in this love; we must pursue to help other believers so that they overcome despair, heartache, troubles, persecution, and death of loved ones. We are to be that steppingstone to join hands with them and the Lord to bring help in time of need. We are not to be distant or hateful but love the brethren and also those who are our enemies. Though things continue to worsen, the world experiences upheaval, the church divided, wickedness expanding, along with our patience will be worn and put to the test. Through this we must continue to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ. In the end, all races end. One of these days when the final bell tolls, the fight will end, and you will face the Lord. When He sits upon the throne and all nations of people are before Him, you too, will see all the events. That is why you must have this attitude. Nothing goes on forever. The battles will cease, the life will end, the struggle will stop, and you will see it. As you follow this attitude, it says within your heart to have patience. Keep the commandments of the Lord, which are not grievous. These can be summed up in one word, which is love. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, and thy soul. Then love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Within this is the faith of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to reveal the Father, for he so loved the world. Jesus died on the cross, for this love so, you and I could be saved. The faith of Jesus says to the world and the ardent sinner that God wants them to repent, and He will heal them. Out of Love, the Faith of Jesus Christ says all this, as it moves through your life of faith.
(11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. (12) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city. (15) For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (16) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. (17) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. ~~~ (9) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

Steel the Darkness is a Radical Biblical Christian story with roots in today's events. While the characters are varied, the events and the situation is plausible.
We find the Hitleresque leader known as the "Colonel" heading up the blood thirsty battle to assassinate and destroy the Remnant. The Remnant is headed up by the "Rev". As the Colonel is bloodthirsty and a cold-blooded assassin; the Reverend is dedicated to protecting the biblical foundation and values he grew up with.
