adding on to the girl dad kinich brainrot: all i can think about is how soft he is with his little girl and how he drops any and almost every responsibility for his scheduled or impromptu silly little play dates with her. plus his significant other, you, supporting her passion for extreme sports and the likes but still nearing your deathbed every time you watch kinich and daughter dearest swinging from tree to tree. do you trust kinich with your daughter's safety? with your life. are the two daredevils the cause of the gray strands slowly making itself known on your head? absolutely.

a small part of you is itching to scold the two to tone down their adventurous spirits even for just a very small amount, but that thought immediately dissipates when your little girl drapes a matching flower crown on your head and declares her parents as the rulers of a kingdom where she can be their cute and adventurous princess.

bonus: the princess is set on a journey to slay the evil dragon (ajaw!!) that threatens to "destroy the kingdom" and take over the king's body; ajaw is adamant that these childish antics aren't meant for the almighty dragonlord k'uhul ajaw, but still somehow finds himself playing along in the end. eventually, the princess succeeds with her quest of slaying the evil dragon (ie, kinich puts ajaw in timeout) and everyone lives happily ever after— except ajaw who returns a few moments later with oh so colorful words directed at kinich.

hear me out— you work as a pharmacist, right?? so that means you're already in the same world with dr zayne.. now imagine devloping some form of disdain towards him due to an offhanded comment he made during one of your brief interactions. maybe it wasn't that of a big deal but since then, his words have long been engrained in your mind that whenever you see him or come across him, you can't help but scoff. is it petty? yes. childish? yes. but you don't care because.

wouldn't it be ironic then if, despite your best efforts to avoid crossing paths with him, fate (in the form of a patient) would require you both to work together in some way? then overtime, slowly, grudingly, you realize that, okay, maybe he isn't that bad. the witty banter exchange suddenly becomes something you...enjoy??? his dry sense of humor is kinda fun.

skdjsakdj apologies for flooding your inboxes, i just cant help myslef. all those complaints about zayne just feel so familiar— that was literally me with rafa. i remember holding a burning ire towards him when i first started playing because all i wanted was sylus but every pull i made was infested with rafa and zero (0!!!) sy. that fish man had his sights on me and it drove me insane.

Okay but I have to be honest I did think that he’d be perfect in an au with a pharmacist where they bicker all the time bc they have to work together all the time

You work in the pharmacy department of the hospital he does surgery in and only speak to him over the phone and you don’t actually ever see him nor do you know what he looks like and everything about him pisses you off bc he calls to communicate about a patient and sometimes mansplains things to you (not on purpose) and ur all annoyed like 🙂 yes. And then finally when you see him in person for the first time you’re gobsmacked by how young he is to be a surgeon so that pisses you off even more

And then eventually you fall for him and it’s a slow burn blah blah

Not that it would happen to me though bc my heart belongs to sylus. But I can appreciate the potential for a fic plot when I see one

i missed seeing you on my dash so i had to manually go to your blog because it felt like it’s been forever— what do you mean i’ve been missing out so much??? you better believe i’m consuming all those little drabbles you’ve been cooking + everything else i’ve missed

and !!! what do you mean the first thing that greets me after forever is you downloading l&ds???? the sylus pull is too strong— WELCOME!!! i feel for you so much because same. hopefully you do enjoy the game and story (and the men) because sylus and rafayel hold a special place in my heart and it’d be fun seeing even your think-pieces about the game/them

lastly, might as well add ‘neuvi-less’ on my long list of missing characters i want (and need) because this girlie just lost yet another 50/50. hurray for c1 diluc though(???) — i say as if he isn’t still at level one because of the grudge i hold against him dating back since v3.4 when i lost xiao’s 50/50. the only time i’ll ever get to finally building him is when i get xianyun for my xiao— who, by the way, is the last character i got where i won the 50/50 back in v4.4. every wish after have all resulted to losing the 50/50 (arlecchino, kazuha, neuvillette) or running out of primos because my terrible luck always brings me to hard pity (baizhu, alhaitham, ei, xilonen)

i’m guaranteed for mavuika though, so yay! but not so yay because that c1 diluc took me 82 pulls so i barely have funds left for mavui. the most i can probably do is 15 so adding on to the rewards we’ll be receiving + events + quests i need to clear, hopefully they’ll be enough for 80 wishes (that thread of hope is very thin i tell you).

i’m sorry i went on rambling lmao. it feels like i always have so much to say— i hope you don’t mind though 😭 but if you do, please don’t hesitate to say so, i wouldn’t want to unintentionally cross any of your boundaries <//3

and speaking of five star, hours before the new year, girlie managed to snag sylus’s new card so there was that. though, i did get rafa’s before i got his but i’m not complaining too much since it’s rafa (me from a couple months ago would’ve shit-talked rafa so much if this happened to her)…though i’ll be honest, i would’ve preferred it if i got zayne’s but oh well, i did still have a couple more pulls so i saved them for the first day of the new year. and so !!! i pulled until my dias were (almost) drained (~70 pulls <//3) just for that zayne card !!! guess who lost her first 50/50 of 2025 :’DDD but on the bright side, the last 10-pull i did resulted in a double five star so, in the end, i got 3/3 of the cards i was aiming for (total pulls were around 110 i think). i wish my l&ds luck could also be my genshin luck, but alas.

also, you’re so much stronger than me because my resolve wavered earlier so i did like 20 pulls for mavui with the hopes that she come home early….UNSURPRISINGLY, she did NOT. at least i’m building pity for wrio 🥰🥰🥰

After 2 days of aching and slowly making my way towards death, the fic is finally finished LOL. You flatter me though you’re too kind 🥹

BUT CONGRATS!!! 3/3 cards you aimed for is honestly so iconic of you what a way to start off the year am I right 😼 I pulled a standard sylus card (I assume it’s a standard) at 16 pity. It was the one where you tape measure him LOL and that was actually what even inspired this ridiculously shameless fic 💀 but!!!! I got the limited sylus card after!!!!! I don’t think it was too early but it was a bit early and I had as many diamonds saved as possible in my short speed run of playing what I could. I’m super happy to have gotten it bc …. Wow that was steamy LOL. I cannot believe this game says 12+ on the App Store???? Because that was EASILY 17+ at least imo.

Also I’m SOOOOO itching to pull mavuika don’t be fooled I almost caved like 5 times but the only thing that’s keeping me from pulling mavuika is the lecture I know rae is gonna give me if I blow my wrio savings AGAIN. lolllll

as someone who also skipped wrio’s banner for furina— i feel your pain. though i wasn’t immediately a wrio stan during fontaine’s release, that man still had me on a chokehold that i almost bent to his will, too bad furina’s charms were far stronger. now though?? after rumors of wrio’s rerun???? i’m very much considering skipping mavuika…i mean, considering i barely even have funds, why not yk?? plus, she’s an archon so she’s at least guaranteed a rerun within 5.x (i’m coping)…but skipping her feels like betraying my mother. so we’ll see how thing may go.

also!! on a completely unrelated note—wanna know why i’m alhaitham-less (the only correct answer is yes)??? it’s because of pride. during sumeru’s release, i saw people fawning over him and my brain immediately went ‘nope!’ because girlie, supposedly, ‘wasn’t like other girls’— looking back, i have no idea what i was on 😭😭. it’s hilarious, but i also wanna flick some sense to that version of me. one glance at haitham and i already knew that he was someone i’d love. i think i was just in denial and wanted to prove hoyo that they can’t just pull me in with a character they designed that specifically curates to my taste (spoiler alert: i proved nothing because turns out they can). if you’re wondering why i still don’t have him despite his previous reruns, i’m also asking the same question.

But u should def finish exploring and doing world quests for wrio if ur short on wishes when I first started playing it was not too long before alhaitham’s release so I speed ran every exploration and world quest possible like literally every single one so I could get as many wishes as possible for him and I think I saved deadass 40-50 wishes in a week. Do not ask me what my screen time was for that week.

But if u do pull mavuika MAY SHE COME EARLY!!! I love her and wrio so much I can’t even suggest who to save for i think they both are a massive win

help, it was such a jumpscare seeing you reblog those sylus gifs skksskks but you are SO RIGHT! sylus is fine af. as for the context behind those cat ears— basically, (assuming my memory serves me right) during this event, sylus was cursed to turn to a cat(?…develop cat features?? something like that) because the ‘magic cats’ in this cafe he and the MC frequent got annoyed with him. in order to lift the curse, he must serve as a dutiful butler in the cafe until he wins over the kitties and after they are satisfied with his performance
