Excited to set up my booth at “A Walk In the Park “ art Festival in Arlington Heights, Il Sunday August 29. Come visit Nazneen's Pursenality at the Fair. The Arlington Heights Art Guild will be hosting their fine art fair “A Walk in the Park” on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. This is the 50th annual fair located in North School Park, 410 N. Arlington Heights Rd. in Arlington Heights, IL. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking at the south end of the park as well as in the commuter parking lot west of the library. All commuter parking is free on Sunday. The fair will host many new artists as well as lots of favorite vendors from past years. This is a juried show of over 70 vendors with works including oils, watercolors, acrylics, colored pencil, pen & ink, photography, woodworking, ceramics, jewelry, fabric art, floral art and much more. This is a great destination for art lovers and families alike. For kids the fair will offer an opportunity for them to make their own art. There is also a playground to enjoy. Musical entertainment will be provided by Bach to Rock Music School. There will be food vendors, sweets and ice cream for purchase in the park. The Arlington Heights Art Guild was created by 30 like-minded artists in 1971. Their purpose was to promote an interest in art, offer demonstrations by artists at their meetings, network with other artists and to create an opportunity to display their art throughout the community.
