I did it! Here's their teams, all pre-evolution pokemon!

underneath the cut: I explain my reasonings, as well as show loop's team (some minor game spoilers, and minor secret ending spoilers)!

Isabeau's team!

Whismur: Isa's partner pokemon. It starts off with a quiet voice, and evolves to become loud and boisterous. I think Isa would relate to it. :)

Golett: Don't the two look kind of similar? I think Isa would find it cute!

Axew: Pun potential for its name is too high to not have at Isa's disposal at all times. Out of all the mons on Isa's team, this one is Sif's favorite.

Geodude: That's A Rock

Riolu: I think it (and Lucario) is a good representation of the mixture between brains & brawn that Isa aspires to be. Also, Riolu's ability to use auras to gauge how others are feeling is really helpful for Isa, as the most emotionally adept in the family.

Furfrou: A fashionable pokemon for a fashionable guy. Isa likes to groom it to have different styles. Also it's intelligent and loyal, just like him!

Mirabelle's team!

Manaphy: Mirabelle's partner pokemon, and the only mythical pokemon in the group (fitting for the "Chosen One"!). Pokedex states it has a "wondrous power that lets it bond with any kind of pokemon", and Mirabelle initially caught it to try to understand that bonding ability in an attempt to Change her own feelings. But instead, she learned that bonds exist in many different forms, and she didn't need to Change if she didn't want to! Good for her.

Eiscue: It's worried little face underneath the ice looks so much like Mirabelle, imo! It also can learn Weather Ball, which is a move that changes type depending on the weather.

Oricorio: it has four different forms that it can change into. All of these forms relate to dances, which reminded me of Mira's Jolly Round Rondo attack. (cuz i relate "rondo" to the musical form...)

Chingling: Ding ding!

Deerling: This is another pokemon that changes its appearance, although it's more obvious in its evolution, Sawsbuck. I just think Mirabelle would like pokemon that change!

Shroodle: It looks a little weird, but that's why Mira likes it. She also likes scary stuff, and i think Shroodle's evolution Grafaiai is a bit scary-looking in a way that would be right up her alley. It's cute in its own special way!

Siffrin's team!

Hatenna: Siffrin's partner pokemon. It's evolutions Hattrem and Hatterene, have a hat just like his! It prefers calm and controlled emotions, and with Sif's breathing exercise habits, that was no problem! .......Maybe their relationship would be a bit strained after the loops.....

Pawniard: Slicey and scissor-y! Siffrin helps keep its blades sharp with their sharpening stone.

Sneasel: Sneaky and quick, with sharp claws. It and Weavile's battle moves feel like they'd fit right in with Sif's fighting style.

Pidove: Piou piou! Pidoves are also quite forgetful, which Siffrin definitely empathizes with. It's just like him for real.

Fomantis: Siffrin tends to hang out in the same environments that Fomantis thrive in, whether it be napping in open fields in the day or stargazing at night. Its evolution, Lurantis, also has a lot of blade-y scissor-y moves. Isa would find Lurantis very stylish and beautiful, so this pokemon is Isa's personal fave from Sif's team.

Klefki: Very useful for Siffrin's job as the one who finds all of the secrets! It helps them find keys & not lose them.

Odile's team!

Porygon: Odile's partner pokemon. I figured she would be intrigued by its existence as a man-made pokemon, which did not naturally emerge from within any specific habitat or biome. She finds it oddly relatable, in some small way.

Carbink: It can learn Trick Room, which allows slower pokemon to go first. As a slower fighter, Odile finds this very useful. It's also a jewel pokemon, which reminds her of home.

Clamperl: Another precious stone pokemon, which she likes for the same reason as Carbink. She likes its fairly simple design and its ability to evolve into one of two different pokemon.

Eevee: Odile is intrigued by its unique genetic makeup and its ability to specialize in different types, but mostly, it kinda looks like a cat, and she likes cats.

Poltchageist: This pokemon wandered into Odile's life by itself. When she was packing to travel to Vauguarde, she brought plenty of her favorite tea with her, and Poltchageist snuck in amongst everything else.

Ekans: A classic oldschool pokemon for a classic oldschool lady. I also just think Odile is the type of woman who likes snakes. It glares in the same way that Odile does when one of the kids gets on her bad side.

Bonbon's (incomplete) team! (They're too young to have 6 whole pokemon to take care of)

Skwovet: Bonnie's partner pokemon. It stuffs food in its face until its cheeks are huge, which Bonnie finds hilarious and gladly encourages. The others think that the two look identical during snack time.

Munchlax: This is actually Nil's partner pokemon, not Bonnie's. They took care of it when Nil wasn't able to, and the two have bonded a lot because of it. Munchlax is like another sibling to Bonbon.

Scatterbug: When I was a kid, I liked to go outside and dig in the dirt for worms. I'd like to think Bonnie is the same. They think it looks stupid funny, and they like to chase Isa around with it.

And here's Loop's team!

I feel like Loop's pokemon are pretty self explanatory. Their partner pokemon is Gothita. They're the only character with a legendary pokemon (Cosmog), which feels appropriate.
