On a sudden inspiration I landed up in Muscat one fine morning in the first flight of the day. I hired a random car from the airport parking, to have an one day tour of the city to return at night, in the last flight of the day. Then I discovered Muttrah corniche, next to the souq. It was a gloomy day. But the freshness in the air was perceptible.
