“Is that what you’re doing?” She asked, hardly able to to contain her anger. “You’re a murderer. You, your Master, the other Knights. You all kill people. And for what!?”    

Baraga had to wonder if she’d somehow been unclear, but no. This girl was so caught up in her ideals of what was right and just that she gave no pause to consider the knight’s words.

“For a legacy.” Distantly, she could feel the simmer of that anger, like fingertips hovering over the compact thermal device she used to warm her tea. “That must be impossible to understand when you come from nothing.”
