I learned several important things today.
Wendy’s serves breakfast until 10:30 am
You should pay attention to the road instead of trying to read the sign about when Wendy’s stops serving breakfast.
If you drive into a curb at 40 mph, you can really fuck up the rim of your tire.
Tumblr media
There’s a discount tire place open on Sunday that is about 10 min from Wendy’s and only looks a bit shady. They seem like good guys though.
In the game Avorion, if you open a wormhole close enough to a station the station will travel through the wormhole. This can happen to several stations at once.

I made a pair of Star Wars themed ships in Avorion recently, so I might as well share them here! I give you: the Castigator-class CSD and Fortuna-class cruiser of the Galactic Custodians!

Take on Epic Behemoth Battles with the Latest Avorion Update
Tumblr media
Behemoth Events game DLC launches free for Avorion via Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to the innovative team at Boxelware for their exceptional work. Available for all to owners on Steam and Humble Store. If you're into epic space adventures, the latest update to Avorion is something you won't want to miss. The Behemoth Events DLC, arriving with Patch 2.4.1, is a game changer. Bringing some incredible new content that's also challenging for Linux players.
Behemoth Ships: The New Challengers
First up, let's talk about the Behemoth ships. These are massive, legendary ships that have started appearing in different sectors of the galaxy. They're not just big; they're also really tough and pack a serious punch. Colossal space beasts that can turn a calm sector of space into a battleground.
Unique Subsystems: Special Rewards for Your Victory
When you manage to defeat these Behemoth ships, they drop unique subsystems. These aren't your regular upgrades. Each subsystem you collect from these giants has special properties that can greatly boost your ship. Due to providing better stats and adding new levels of specialization.
Dynamic Galaxy: A Living, Changing Space
The presence of Behemoths adds a dynamic twist to the game. If these Behemoths are left undefeated, they can wreak havoc on entire sectors, destroying and salvaging them. This also means your actions (or inactions) directly impact the galaxy. While making your role even more crucial.
Play Your Way: You're in Control
What's really unique about this update is that you can choose to enable or disable the Behemoth Events. This means you can tailor your experience to your liking. Whether you want the extra challenge or prefer a more laid-back exploration. It's all up to you.

Plus, the patch also brings a ton of performance upgrades and bug fixes. Due to make your experience smoother and more enjoyable.
New Behemoth Bosses: Epic Battles Await
The Behemoth expansion introduces four new Behemoth Bosses. These aren't your average enemies. They're highly durable and powerful, demanding your best strategies and strongest ships. Even if you don't play the DLC via Steam, you can still launch into multiplayer mode on servers that have the DLC enabled. The Behemoth Events DLC in Avorion's latest patch is a thrilling addition, bringing new challenges, dynamic gameplay, and better rewards. Whether you're battling giant ships or collecting unique subsystems, something is exciting for everyone in this update. Remember, you have the power to shape your adventure, so dive in and make the most of it. Available Free for all owners on Steam and Humble Store. Hows your day going?
Getting better with each moment, though that's not necessarily saying much. We were woken up from an interesting dream by a nasty leg cramp, which just seems to be our new routine now. So we stretched our leg while we went searching for credible looking history on the Hindenburg, and learned that it employed by the Nazis for propaganda tours and surveillance of allied territory. So, good riddance. And we recalled and contemplated the effects of our childhood education on the matter, which was pretty hands off, with only the words "the Nazis were the bad guys" to temper our exploration and play. This was prompted by a blog post we reblogged, and we felt we had a duty to educate ourselves better. We're trying to raise our own children to be more aware of the weight of symbols.
Getting dressed was eh, but not too eh. Threw a green dress on. Yes, it's a real one. We're feeling bloody minded.
Ate a bowl of cereal, and now we're finishing off some peanut butter toast while listening to "Little Shadow" by Karen O, and reaching for the gabbapentin.
We're about to try to make the Sunspot as a ship in the game Avorion. It probably won't be anywhere close to the actual ship in our head, but it should test the limits of the game's engine, which will be fun!
Later, we'll be playing Näogoa (it/its), the Octorok, in our girlfriend's Legend of Zelda TTRPG. Where, in this iteration of the story, both Zelda and Link have failed to stop Ganon, so the burden of restoring balance falls upon the backup, three heroes of diverse origins who, though they are often cast as monsters in the other stories, are really just regular people with noble intentions. Näogoa is the regional boss of the Octorok Loggers Union and the leader of the OLU Sharpshooters. And it wants nothing more than to cultivate ecologically sustainable wood harvesting practices while providing a fair shake for its fellow workers, both things that Ganon originally promised but has since begun to deny them. Näogoa also wants to climb to the top of the tallest nearby mountain, but that's just a personal goal.
We're probably not going to return to our writing today, but we hope to psyche ourselves up for it tomorrow. We're editing The End of the Tunnel, rewriting the first five chapters, and we want to get ourselves into the absolute best frame of mind for it if we can. But plan B on that is to diagram out what we want, finally. We write best off the cuff, though. So what we'd be diagramming would be the purpose of those chapters, rather than the structure of events.
And we are thinking about drawing a page of comics, maybe. Maybe.
Thank you for asking! You?

So I decided I want to make a thing where I basically am describing what I imagine the ships in my Avorion fleet would be if they were a family, because it brings clarity to my soul. So, going left to right(ish):
Marksman I is most definitely a parental figure. She's an explorer type, often going on hikes or bike rides, and generally getting around. She also tends to rope the others into her little expedition.
Marksman II is a bit hard to see, but I imagine her to be one of the children - young, small, energetic and loves getting into trouble.
Imperator I and Imperator II, the big ones, would most definitely be soldiers. Maybe you imagine a more modern type, or a future super-soldier of sorts, but I like to imagine them as a pair of valiant knights, bearing swords, armor, and heraldry. They'd also be the tallest of them, and the strongest.
Rockship is a bit hard to see, but I imagine that they're either the smol child, still struggling to figure themself ot and constantly mixing and matching things. Or maybe the edgy teen; you decide.
Albatross IV would probably take most after Marksman I, liking to hike around the place. I also imagine that they’d be a big time collector, gathering little models and bits of things and all sorts of stuff.
Gigantic II would probably be adopted, since that’s how I got it in-game, but take heavily after Marksman II, going everywhere and getting in all sorts of trouble.
The last one, Herald IX starbase, is one that I can’t really decide on. I think I imagine it as either a young adult/teen that loves tinkering and stuff, or the other parental figure of the family. Maybe something else? I dunno, you decide.
Anyways, I’ll leave now. Hope you enjoy :)

Space engineers vs starmade

#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE MOD#
#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE UPGRADE#
#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE FULL#
This allows for pretty intricate detailing of ships. It comes with slabs in 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 sizes, as well. Good Detailing - There's a reasonable variety of blocks and materials, and the size of a block is 1x1 meters. Massive scale-ships can be built to ridiculous sizes and still render, although it does take a severe toll on performance eventually. I'll try to present a neutral viewpoint on it, but take what I say with a grain of salt. This is the game I know the most about, due to several years spent playing it. I've only played a tiny bit of Avorion, so I won't be doing a real Pro/Con on it-just mentioning the few things I know. and make me think if they really want to release it.I hope that does not happen to this game.that will ruin EA forever for me.I can do a pro/con, since I've played Starmade, Empyrion, and Space Engineers. but they deviate form their path and started to adding things in the game which suppose to be not a feature of the game anyway instead of fixing bugs, optimize and release the game.which I don't think going to happen in foreseeable future.
#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE MOD#
also KSP is one of the best example how EA should work.Īnother thing about SE that it suppose to be a space engineering simulator which they accomplished brilliantly quit a long time ago.and they could release the game then and have some bi-monthly or so update for new items if they wanted, but with extensive mod support which wont be even necessary. ARK was unplayeble even at higher lvl PCs when it was released and since then it somewhat optimized to what they advertise as system requirement because of player feedback.but I never seen that happen to SE. I would say ARK is a very good example for SE.
#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE UPGRADE#
I visit their forum often to see is there any release which make the game playeable in my computer with some little upgrade (not a whole new computer) but what shocked me that not only it not get optimized, it also making some upgrade which make it unplayable in some PC where people used to play.and any argument against that getting very suppressed by saying they should not try to play new game in old computer but peoples are forgetting that SE is not a new game, its a 2 year old game which had a min system requirement which was at per for that time, they may change that now to newer system but the players bought then, they bought because false advertisement which should be illegal. Not every game studio are like that, maybe most are not, but if a game stays in more that 2 years of EA development and do not care to improve their game performance it makes me very suspicious about their intention.
#SPACE ENGINEERS VS STARMADE FULL#
That being said, I am seeing a very dangerous trend among the fans of EA games that every little criticism they discounting saying "its EA and its suppose to be that way" but as a consumer you should think about that many game studios are getting a free pass for everything using that an excuse and have a dedicated fanbase supporting behind that excuse and stuck in a endless EA stage. If you think about that, why would they want to release a full game when they are earning money selling a buggy game which would never get good review if full released at current state but getting tons of good review with an excuse of being an EA. Now, I always wanted to play it ,but even though my system within min-recommended I never able to run it at playable frame-rate(during some free weekends).still now I want to experience SE as I am enticed by many gameplay videos, but I know I can't run it unless I buy a beast of a computer and even then it my not be smooth. Click to expand.First of all I never played SE fully(because I can't)
