It was only suppose to be a one night stand... but now he's asking you to move in and become his muse/roommate??? This is bound to be one jingle bell rock. Sunny Palmer is a part time adult film actress/one time adult film director/makeup artist who has accidentally sold her first screenplay to the Hope Channel.... and after 6 months she needs a new idea. Cue Isaac Kelly, former boy band heart throb turned the saddest boy in the music industry after his wife's death. Isaac is a bit of a recluse and has bought the town's historic mansion... and he has to write new music but he has no inspiration.... except for Sunny. Sunny and Isaac hooked upped a while back by when they attend their best friends' wedding.... one thing leads to the next and they're sharing a hotel room and much more... and then Isaac asks Sunny to move in with him in his giant mansion. It's a huge mansion he won't even notice she's there... yet when they both realize their creativity's blocked they come to a new agreement: Isaac will help Sunny solve a local lore and she'll find him his new muse (since she refuses to be his muse)... yet the more time they spend together under one roof the harder it is to just be "roommates with benefits"... but can Isaac ever love again and can Sunny be with someone who isn't ready to open up his heart yet? This was such a cute and HOT christmas romance read. I adored Sunny and Isaac, they love each other so much and were so supportive of one another. They were so in love with one another from the first moment and everyone around them could tell except them. This series has been such a fun one to read and the spice in it is top notch. I love this series so much and would absolutely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a hot holiday romance!

Whining on

My parents have a lovely elderly, widowed lady as a neighbor, and she often asks me to get her stuff from Budapest--books, CDs, the like. About two weeks ago she asked me to get her two Avon parfumes she wanted as a Christmas gift for her granddaughter, I think (I used to do Avon years and years ago, when I lived in a dorm, but stopped since).

Anyway, I said sure--I knew they had a “store” in downtown which was easy to get to, so it wasn’t like a big deal to me. I went there the week before last, but it turned out it wasn’t an actual store, but more like a showroom with one of their people there. Who cares, I placed my order, the lady took my phone number and said she’d call when the parfumes arrived.

And she did call--I mean, I got a call from an unknown number on Friday afternoon, right in the middle of the online oral exams I was conducting. I declined the call--I suspected it was he tho--, but it was past 7 pm when I finished with the orals, so I didn’t call back then, not during the weekened, because... come on. It’s the weekend. So I called back today, and...

...And she basically cussed me off. Because she WANTED to hand over the parfumes on Friday (wtf, lady, did you expect me to jump up and run to you the middle of Friday afternoon?), and she is not in the showroom today or tomorrow or like, she kinda implied she won’t be there anymore before Christmas? And she otherwise lives on the fringes of the city I’m no way travelling to, because it’d take 2+ hours? But anyway, she talked to me like it was my fault that I was busy and did not jump when she whistled, when she didn’t even try to call me back or sent a text, and I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have tried again either if I didn’t call.

In the end she said she’d try to talk to her boss and arrange it so that maybe I could pick the parfumes up tomorrow, and that she’d call me back in an hour.

That was over two hours ago.

The parfumes haven’t been paid for, so I’m heavily debating just blocking her number and forget the whole deal.

Kallum Lieberman used to be a boy band member but then his sex tape got leaked and now he owns a pizza chain and is also known as the guy that bridesmaids sleep with before they find the one. Kallum wants nothing more than to find The One, but no matter how many bridesmaids he sleeps with he is always going to. be the guy before The One. When his old sex tape gets leaked and goes viral and he is offered the role of sexy Santa for the Hope Chanel he can't say no. Winnie Baker was the good girl, she did everything right from marrying her childhood sweetheart to being the girl in all the home movies. Yet after one disastrous photo of her get wasted is leaked (by none other than Kallum) her image fell, and then her husband cheated on her, and now Winnie has to find a way to pay back the Hope Channel for her lost role in the movie. Yet Winnie is offered the role of Mrs. Claus and it would help get her back in the media and help her tell her side of the story that her ex-husband had created and bashed her. The only problem with staring in this sexy movie is that Winnie herself has never orgasmed or felt true pleasure.... but thankfully there is Kallum there to help her. Kallum's little secret is that Winnie Baker was his teenage crush, the one person whom he absolutely adored and watched all of her movies. Yet what started as just lessons soon blooms into something more but can these two make it work or will it be a complete flop? This was a pretty fun spicy Christmas rom com. Winnie is dealing with a lot, from dealing with religious guilt. to trying to live her new life and just trying to learn to open herself up again. Kallum had a lot of growing up to do in this movie but one thing is for sure, he was in love with Winnie for a long time and it was cute. Overall definitely add this to your Christmas tbr!
