as we speak i am in fact writing part of my special little guy's backstory, that goes a little bit into his family's history
#its about the cycles#dick is part of a prophesy because hes 'too much like his father'#and math (his father) was too much like his who was too much like his#like as much as i love to imagine a world where dick heals#and lives a happy long life#at the end of the day he is too much like his father#though#and his father died dealing with the devil (a huckster move in deadlands) to try and protect dick from going out the same way every harden#huckster has gone out#at the end of the day i see dick as dying as part of the prophesy thats played out over and over again#him dying the same way his father did with that motivation to protect someone and dealing with the devil#or him becoming a servitor#avenging his father by killing the manitous#and then filling in that exact same role#perpetuating that cycle but playing a different part#end of the day though dick will be the last harden huckster#hes just my special little guy and i love him and he's currently starting the arc that might lead to the bad ending (him becoming a very#powerful literal demon)#1000000/10 im both roleplaying him and filled with dread#anyways im also going to write about my two backup characters#woody “mourning wood” slaughter and his wife killian#you know what im adding a tag#my special little guy posts
