What does steampunk mean to you?

Steampunk, for me, was originally a way to express myself and rebel at the same time. To allow me to stand out from my sisters. It's my escape from the hum-drum of everyday life. 

How did you discover spg?

My friends Sharmanee (avengetheautomatons) and JJ (hereslookinatyoukid).

We were discussing fem!cosplay ideas at lunch one day, and I said "What about those robot dudes you keep reblogging on Tumblr?" And they said "OMG, yes, you can be The Spine!" So I blame them for changing my life for the better. I love you guys!
