Vauxhall have just facelifted the Insignia, but talks about its successor are already underway.
Expected to arrive in 2022, the Insignia could be turned into a crossover, AutoExpress reports, in an attempt to revitalize it by entering the booming segment.
“The industry is asking what happens after the SUV”, Vauxhall’s Managing Director, Stephen Norman, told the British publication. “And we think the new Insignia will be it. It’s the biggest metamorphosis of what we’ve seen so far from Vauxhall.”
The next-gen Insignia won’t be your run-of-the-mill crossover, but a mix between an SUV and an MPV. The new model will provide improved leg and headroom at the back, and the shift to PSA’s modular EMP2 architecture should allow it to grow in size.
The platform already underpins different models from Peugeot and Citroen, as well as the Grandland X crossover, and supports electrification. Thus, it’s likely that the successor of the mid-size family car will also get plug-in hybrid powertrains.

颜值爆表！新一代马自达3效果图：中毒太深
在10月底的东京车展上，马自达发布了全新设计的魁(Kai)概念车。新车定位一台两厢紧凑型车，可以看作是下一代马自达3昂克赛拉的雏形。
日前，外媒Avarvarii绘制了一张全新马自达3的效果图。新车借鉴了魁(Kai)概念车的设计元素，十分吸睛。
新一代马自达3将采用马自达第二代魂动设计，前脸采用超大尺寸的盾形进气格栅，看起来更加立体，更具攻击性。
同时，新车还配备了超大尺寸轮毂，侧面线条十分动感、流畅。车尾短促，采用双边共两出排气，运动感十足。
据悉，新马自达3将搭载一台2.0L SKYACIV-X���动机，进一步提升燃油效率，2018年正式亮相。

Để trả lời cho thắc mắc về tương lai ngôn ngữ thiết kế của hãng siêu xe Lamborghini, một nhà thiết kế người Italy đã đưa ra bản concept mang nhiều kỳ vọng.
Lamborghini Minotauro 2020 là bản concept được thiết kế bởi Andrei Avarvarii, nghiên cứu sinh thạc sĩ tại Scuola Politecnica di Design của Milan. Bản thiết kế hoàn thành với sự giúp đỡ của Filippo Perini, người đứng đầu bộ phận thiết kế Lamborghini.
Avarvarii sử dụng ngôn ngữ thiết kế mềm mại để tạo nên Minotauro. Bản concept này sử dụng bốn động cơ điện và chia tỷ lệ công suất 30% phía trước, 70% phía sau.
Hệ thống pin phẳng Li-Tec gắn phía sau và hệ thống phục hồi năng lượng KERS được gắn phía trước.
Nhà thiết kế giải thích lý do không sử dụng động cơ V12 là bởi sẽ chiếm hết khoảng trống cho hành khách thứ ba ngồi ở vị trí trung tâm. Đây là chiếc Lamborghini đầu tiên bố trí ba chỗ ngồi. Ghế sau giúp không gian bên trong cabin rộng rãi hơn hẳn so với những chiếc Lamborghini truyền thống.
Điểm gây ấn tượng nhất trên bản thiết kế này là ống xả hình tam giác. Tuy nhiên điều khó hiểu là một chiếc xe chạy điện sử dụng ống xả vào mục đích gì? Nhà thiết kế giải thích ống xả thực ra là lỗ thông hơi để làm mát khối pin bên trong nhưng có hình dáng giống ống xả truyền thống. Ống xả này cũng có tác dụng như một loa siêu trầm để khuếch đại âm thanh của động cơ điện đặt phía sau.
