There is pretty much one day until Halloween. Where on earth did fall go?! It JUST got here 😩 . Today has been a hectic day (rough work day, car got hit, feeling "meh") but sometimes those days are needed. I find that sometimes the days that really stink can fuel beautiful transformations and inspire positive change. . Two blog posts have been written today. They won't be posted until November though, since they will accompany videos on the YouTube channel. October is almost over already... I can't believe it!! 😮 It has always been my favorite month, although it is one I am scarcely able to enjoy due to how busy it typically is. This year, I have had more time to enjoy it... which has been nice. 🧡🎃🍁 . But October ISN'T over yet. There are still two major things happening this October here in NoMi... at least for my family and I. FIRST! Reminder that on October 26th at 10:00, @_foodfoto_ will be leading a guided photography tour through the abandoned buildings at @thevillagetc I will be one of two models on the tour. Today marked the last official swim of the year. I got iced on in the middle of my short 5 minute swim at Kehl Lake... which was very refreshing, I might add... although certainly not recommended 😆 . Dad filmed from the shore while I slashed around in front of some VERY pretty autumn-hued trees. I need to go back and collect some B-roll before I can make it into a usable video, since the swim was very short! But... there will still be a fall swimming video up for sure 🎃🧡🍁 . THAT SAID!! Mermaid season is technically over in Northern Michigan, but THIS MERMAID can come visit year round regardless of the weather.
