Sunstreaker’s P.O.V. Between the number of times that soldiers targeted Jamie and how these soldiers are ignoring how Jamie is anxious, they anger me. I wait for Jamie to deal with them herself, hoping she does.

Jamie’s P.O.V. I’m sick of soldiers targeting me like it’s a fun game. These three soldiers have me thinking about an incident four years ago.

Paul and his two buddies surround me. “What do you want?” I ask, displeased. “I see Sunstreaker is letting you near him. You can help us get a little revenge,” Paul explains. “No,” I firmly state. “Oh, you’ll be helping whether you want to,” the blond says before cutting my arm, making sure it’s deep. “So, willing to help?” The brown-haired soldier says while pointing a gun at me, “ok, Plan B.” I’m shot three times, feeling the knife cut me a few times. “He’ll be locked up forever,” I hear Paul say before everything goes black.

Sunstreaker’s P.O.V. Scrap, I need to get her out of here. “Get lost!” I yell at the soldiers. The cowards run away. Another soldier approaches. I know this one. He’s been trying to befriend Jamie. “Let me help.” “No, it’s best she doesn’t see another soldier right now.” I hope he understands why. I pick Jamie up, who seems unaware, and take her to my art room.

I sit on the floor with Jamie on my lap. “You’re safe.” What was she thinking to freeze like that? It’s worse than usual. Her expression has me thinking she’s-dissociating. Even more unusual for her. “You’re safe,” I repeat as Jamie looks at me. I know it’s good to talk about what happened, but I don’t think it’s wise with what happened. I hug Jamie, hoping to get her to relax. I’m not looking forward to telling Crosshairs and Drift about this, but I must.

Hi, my author name is Autobot2001 on Ao3, FFN & Wattpad. I have a fanfiction series but I've been focused on transformers, specifically the live-action movies. Post The Last Knight. Way too many ideas just in this universe ( pre and post TLK) and many more fandoms I want to write in. I write mostly emotional Whump. Which I know is a thin line between Whump and hurt/comfort. I have snippets for a couple of upcoming ( unknown when I'll be posting) stories.

I have snippets for the two stories. While this blog lacks organization, it's not too late to find the snippets and a few other Whump, hurt/ comfort writing. My current uh Posting in Progress (PiP) stories deal with Sunstreaker's past trauma from mental abuse and his struggle to befriend my OC, Lily Jones ( Sunstreaker's Charge) and Jamie (Haven). He hates humans so this is a challenge for him. Also he loves to kill humans.

I hope to get to a better organized welcome post soon. The dreaded organizing the posts is discouraging.

Unaware Ironhide is seeing what's going on. I thought the prompt was shock, whoops. Instead of part of the chapter of Haven I planned on sharing, here's what happened between ch. 16 & 17 + what Ironhide saw when he entered the medbay in ch. 17. Way too many chapters to shuffle and rename to officially add this into the story.

Ratchet’s P.O.V. Jamie’s heart rate is low. While Jolt rushes to get the crash cart, I look at Jamie’s vitals and the way she looks. It’s not relieving that she’s not dying. The slow heart rate climbs up past Jamie’s normal range. Jolt rushes in with the cart. “She’s going into shock,” I tell him.

Ironhide’s P.O.V. I walk into the medbay, expecting Jolt and Ratchet to be in their offices. Before walking into Ratchet’s office, I see the two medics in Jamie’s ICU room, concerned. Jolt is injecting something into Jamie’s IV. As I approach the viewing window, I realize Jamie’s vitals are not good. I suspect if she wasn’t on the ventilator, she’d be breathing fast. Jolt and Ratchet see other things that show Jamie isn’t doing well. The twins won’t like this news.

Ratchet’s P.O.V. Jamie was stable at the end of the surgery. I don’t understand why she’s struggling now. It’s hard to think what if I didn’t have her in a medically induced coma and her guardians were awake seeing this? I shouldn’t think about all these what-ifs while trying to stabilize Jamie and figuring out what happened. Come on, Jamie. Crosshairs and Drift are already in a poor mental state. I think while injecting more medication. “We need to put a chest tube in,” I tell Jolt as I listen to Jamie’s breathing. I hurry to get the supplies.

It’s a challenge to work fast but also careful. We continue to inject medication, worried this isn’t working. I don’t know how much time passed before Jamie finally stabilizes. We both sit on chairs in the room. Afraid to return to our offices across the hall.

A half-hour passes and Jamie remains stable. I’m not confident she won’t decline, but enough to go back to my office. I find Ironhide waiting.

Sunstreaker watches the new soldier, Dylan, talk to Jamie. Anger fills him and he’s about ready to tackle the guy. “Seriously?” Sideswipe asks. “Yes,” Sunstreaker replies to his brother. “So you’re going to keep Jamie away from humans? Except for the ones that we know understand Jamie.” “I’d like to do that. To protect her from getting hurt. There’s something about this guy.” “How? Because he’s a soldier like Victoria was? Then we already know you’re wrong about Dylan.” Sideswipe walks away. Sunstreaker watches Dylan talk to Jamie. Something about the human mech doesn’t sit well with Sunstreaker. He knows Mirage won’t spy or look up Dylan’s records. Sunstreaker doesn’t come close to the skills Mirage has as a spy.

“What are you doing?” Sunstreaker asks Dylan once he’s alone. “Do you hate humans so much that you hate seeing two conversing?” “Yeah, when they give me a reason not to trust them.” “So you distrust every recruit, how sad.” Dyan walks away. You better watch your step, human. I will be watching you. Sunstreaker thinks.
