Is it more common for autistic people to communicate particularly emotion with noises like I'll make happy noises that my autisticfriends won't commemt on but my NT friends will be like what ?? But like I'm not trying to​ say anything
It might be that you’re using a verbal stim because of being happy. I know I make noises all the time because I’m happy and I just need to get the happy out- and it comes out in the form of noises (for me they tend to be dinosaur ones). Regardless, it is definitely something that’s more common for autistics.
