after putting if off for fuckin years i finally started reading the lies of locke lamora and i’ve only read the prologue but fuck i’m gonna love this book i can tell already

#a protagonist who's incredibly cocky and ambitious???#authority figures with titles like 'the thiefmaker' and 'father chains'????#conmen priests???? of a secret 13th god????#fantasy venice!!!!???#the only reason why i haven't read this book already is because the copy i have is mass market paperback #and i hate mmpbs so much #but goddamn i finally bit the bullet and cracked it open and i'm so glad i did #verbs reads the gentlemen bastards series #posting here because apparently my bookblr is for posting graphics exclusively i guess???
