I saw a lovely post by @Okadabooks, and it seemed like something I would like, so I liked it BEFORE I #read it. How many of us do that? Sometimes, we don't even 'waste' time to read posts and learn what people are actually saying. If we did, we may not like many of the posts we thought we liked, and we may actually MISS some amazing gems, and pieces that will cause us to truly interract, which is what we seek (I believe). So, now that I have said my piece, please read this poem by @poetolu, which @okadabooks regranned! There are some things from your childhood you tried but couldn't grapple till you grew up and recount. Like I was seven (maybe eight) with some friends and their maid she was older, (maybe fifteen) we were sent to a lumber mill. The kind men who worked there, said ''have all the wood dust you want please just don't touch our planks" but the maid picked only planks. The men saw her, came charging grabbed their planks angrily but she screamed in Yoruba help! help! help! these dirty men are touching my breasts! And a crowd began to gather. She was lying, we all knew it but the men were so rattled they let her go at once with all the planks she stole. But I was more rattled my poor little head couldn't comprehend don't adults punish kids when they lie or they steal? why did these men become weak at the knees?
