🥰A fic that gives you warm fuzzy feelings

ooo one that I love to come back to is wherever you stray I follow (anywhere else is hollow) by youareiron_andyouarestrong. I have such a vivid memory of reading this while waiting for my bus at like midnight and it just put me in the most… content mood? It’s seriously so good modern au where Cassian goes abroad to work and he and Jyn send love letters to one another. A staple Christmas fic.

So a collection of fics that I ADORE is the experiment collection by tincantelephone which is a modern au of Cassian and Jyn trying for a baby. It’s basically just domestic fluff but I love the real life struggles that the author includes like infertility, post partum, rough family relationships and more! Can’t recommend highly enough

💘A fic you couldn't stop reading once you started

Oooo this could work for so many.

The one that immediately comes to mind is @fulcrumstardust Train to Bespin which is a zombie train au that is so fast paced and addicting. I ate it up like candy

One that was a bit of a slower read (but still so good) was PRONTO NOS VEREMOS OTRA VEZ by hotel_raleigh. You ever have an idea for a fic then already find it written in the most perfect way possible? That was this fic for me. A modern au where Jyn goes undercover in Mexican drug exchange and meets Cassian who is also undercover. I can’t describe how good this is go READ IT NOW!

mosylu / @mosylufanfic: I considered choosing one of her light-hearted, funny stories, because they always make me smile and it’s an impressive achievement to write in-character humour for this ship... but then I remembered Faking It, which is easily one of the sexiest things I’ve ever read and hotter than most full-on PWP, even though no-one has sex

youareiron_andyouarestrong / @youareiron-andyouarestrong: I’d say iron, salt, earth but I don’t know whether a co-authored story is cheating for the purposes of this meme, so I went with i’d be the dreadful need in the devotee (imagine being loved by me) featuring a lovely framing device and a satisfyingly ferocious Jyn

wintersend / @andorerso : as soon as I saw the author’s note saying imaginary homelands was based on a Persuasion prompt I was sold! and��the story delivers on the promised bittersweet, slow-burn reunion of estranged lovers, plus a nicely fleshed-out SW backdrop

To be clear, it’s George’s idea from the start.

“We need someone else,” he says, as he and Lockwood stagger home in the cold, gray dawn. “Another agent. Someone who's better at Listening than you or me, because this is the third time we nearly got out in one piece, because you can’t Listen and I’m shit at it.”

Lockwood would probably feel more amenable to this suggestion if his best coat didn’t smell of burnt salt and iron, not to mention if every salt bomb and his rapier didn’t feel like it weighs fifty kilos, each. “Weren’t you just saying we needed to start out slow? We’ve only been open for three months. And besides,” he adds, “who can we get? The other agencies won’t work with us, because we don’t have a supervisor,” he spits out the last word like it’s a curse.

“I’m not spending another night nearly getting ghost touched because we’re hamstrung by our limitations,” says George, flatly unimpressed by him, as always. “We need someone else. Put an advertisement in the Times if you won’t work with the agencies.”
