1. favourite fic you wrote this year?

ooooh, i think it’s got to be weekend kings!!! writing multi-chapter fics is both very difficult and uncommon for me, but god, i enjoyed every second for writing this one. i kinda fell in love with the unsure, messy, naive and so in love version of ben and callum from the very first paragraph i wrote and they’re so sooo special to me. i would LOVE to revisit this fic one day! 

12. favourite character to write about this year?

oh man.. noooo! you know it’s going to be either ben or callum and how can i possibly choose? it really depends on which fic i’m writing. but ... uhhh i have to say i love love love writing callum. largely because there’s so much we haven't uncovered of callum’s past in canon, and that leaves writes the chance to really explore it! aside from that, i love writing him all open and vulnerable, he’s a character that really wears his heart on his sleeve and i love that! but writing sarky, rude ben is also a great pleasure!

I have so much more than 5 creators I love!! It’s gonna be so difficult to choose, but I will do it (or maybe not). I don’t know if these asks are ballum related, but i feel like it is, so let’s go!

1. Winner by @moodyblueangel. All her fics are awesome, her stories are so good, but i think this one is my fav. I always want to have the next chapter, and her cliffhangers are the thing I hate the most 🤣 but she always write happy endings, so it’s good for my heart and my feelings 😌

2. Ocean blue by @dingletragedy. This is the most beautiful/incredible/cute/soft/awesome/search for other adjectives fic I’ve read. I’ve only read it once, but this is one of these fics I can reread forever. I love sophie’s writing, and even more her long fics. (and summer romance au is the best au, don’t @). I can’t wait to read her new fic, i already know i’m gonna love it.

3. Someone remember WatMcGregor? I need to include this author, her fics was so amazing, i was the most saddest person when everything was deleted. I loved her style and her stories. So even if we can’t find her fics anymore, i had to include them, and i would like sm to know who was this person and what she’s doing now, but i don’t think she was tumblr or twitter, so i’m forever sad (i don’t even know if it’s she or he?)

4. One year of Ben and Callum by @siennablake. Can we imagine all the work for this post?! I don’t think so. I love this gifset, it sumps up so well their relationship. I hope she’ll do another one for this year ;) but all marie’s gifsets are always gorgeous, she’s my fav gifmaker in the fandom. So I can also add this post (ballum week), or this one. I love colourful gifsets, and these are so stunning, i had to include them. And Marie is really a nice and sweet person, so i think she deserves all the love and positive vibes

5. omg this is so difficult. i have so much people in mind. i love @drewsbarrymcre ‘s gifsets, i love colourful gifsets so of course 🤣 in her recent posts, i loved this one, but I'll be here all day if i start to talk about her gifs, i really can’t choose. i also love @jamietate ‘s gifs, especially this one (you know why 😅)

7) what’s the last thing you read that made you cry?

I read @halfwayinit ‘s latest fic ‘he sleeps alone my heart wants to come home’. Despite being prepared for this fic in advance, I am officially a blubbering mess.

17) describe a fic that is still in the ‘ideas’ stage.

Ben and Callum being domestic and Ben deciding that this is what he wants for the rest of his life. There is some fun and playfulness towards the end but I fully intend for it to be fluffy.

I have a few favourite fanfictions and a few favourite writers. I loved @callumsmitchells fake dating au that got released in the summer, I am loving Winner by @moodyblueangel which I am currently reading right now. I love anything that is written by @dingletragedy and I adored @halfwayinit Harry Potter AU and @minimitchell football AU!

⭐️🌸💗 Fanfiction Writers Appreciation Day 💗🌸⭐️

A bit late to the party but I equally wanted to show my appreciation to all the amazing fanfiction writers in this fandom! (I had written this out a moment ago but tumblr deleted it before I could post 😭, so this is round two)

Fanfiction has been a huge part of my life for a long time but I’ve never known so many talented writers all in once place! I feel that sometimes fanfiction gets a really bad rep and people who don’t follow a fandom honestly do not understand the joy of reading a good quality well written fic, from brilliant AUs to hot smut and everything in the middle! We are so lucky to have so many people that write for FREE! some of which are novel worthy!

Ballum fanfiction literally got me through lockdown and the EE hiatus, I would have never been able to survive it without it.. and that’s all thanks to you guys 💗 so I’d like to shout out to some of my favourite authors:
