Chaotic Reading of the Azriel Bonus Chapter

So I meant to do this a while back, but just never got to it. Made my BF read Azriel's bonus chapter and the HOFAS bonus chapter.

(He knows names of characters--Elain, Azriel, Cassian and Nesta. He doesn't know who Gwyn is. He is generally only interested in Cassian, because 'he is strong and handsome' and looks like him. Chapter One “The Meeting”

It was a random Thursday night and I had decided to go to the bar with my friends. It wasn't a typical bar, it was more high class only exclusive or rich people could get in. My wealthy friend Izzy luckily covered the cost for me and our group of girls. Once I got into the bar I lost track of my friends but I didn't really care, I was having too much fun on the dance floor. What I didn't realize was there was someone watching me from their table as I was dancing the night away.

The guy eventually approached me. He ended up grabbing my waist from behind while dancing with me. I was already tipsy so I didn't mind. He wasn't too tall but damn he was sure attractive with his naturally wavy black hair. We danced for a while like this until he finally spoke. He introduced himself as Christopher but said I could call him Chris. He had the sweetest accent I could instantly melt. He noticed the effect his voice had on me and informed me his accent is australian. He invited me back to his table and as we approached I realized it was all guys, seven of them just sitting and they were all very attractive.

It was a pretty boring night but the guys wanted to go out since this was the first time in a while that we had some time off. We went to this high end bar in hopes that no crazy fans or annoying people would be there. We got a booth towards the back and all eight of us settled down. No one was excessively drinking, we were more so just there to chill and get out of the dorm. Nothing interesting happened, that was until this girl walked in. She was gorgeous wearing this short black dress with these cute black heels and she was wearing some silver jewelry, a nice silver necklace, some hoops and a silver bracelet. She had long brown hair that she was wearing down with waves in it. She looked like she didn't have a care in the world just dancing by herself but still standing out amongst the crowd. Maybe it was weird that I was watching her but I also couldn't get my eyes to look away.

“Hey Chan rather than watching that girl like a creep why don't you go talk to her” Seungmin said

“Wait, Channie hyung is watching a pretty girl. Where” Said Han

Hyunjin now decided to chime in “right there the girl with the long hair and short black dress. He's basically drooling”

“Ok ok enough I get it i'm checking out a girl so funny”

I finally decided to go approach her so I wouldn't have to listen to the guys make fun of me. I made my way to the dance floor where she was and started to dance with her with my hand on her hip. She didn't seem to mind and she was good at dancing. We stayed like this for a while luckily it didn't seem like she knew who I was so far. After a while I decided I should make a move or at least introduce myself. But I didn't want my name to give away who I was so I decided to use my English name.

“Hey my name is Christopher by the way but you can call me Chris doll.”

I could tell she was intrigued by my accent. “I am Australian by the way. I could tell my accent surprised you”

She then introduced herself as y/n

“Pretty name for a pretty girl I see, how would you like to join my friends and I at my table? You seem to be a little lonely.”

“Well my friends did leave me so why not” she said as I started to lead the way back to my booth.

Y/n’s pov

As I approached the booth where Chris was leading me I noticed I was just a table of seven guys but each of them were cuddling one another. Chan sat first leaving me on one end of the booth which I did not mind. On the other end of the booth was this sweet looking boy with blonde hair. He looked decently young and he was cuddling into the chest of another young looking boy but he has black hair and the cutest smile. Next to them were two more boys who looked like a couple. One was cute with brown hair that had a slight wave to it and he kinda resembled a squirrel. The guy that had his arm around him looked more stern but still oh so attractive. His facial features were sharper and he had this gorgeous light purple hair framing his face and almost blocking his eyes like curtains. Next to those two were three guys, the one in the middle was being smothered by the other two guys laying their heads on his chest and snuggling into his side. The one on the left looked like a ray of sunshine with his long blonde hair and the adoring look on his freckled covered face as he looked up at the guy he had his head on. The one on the right was the exact opposite. He still looked adorable as he stared at the freckled covered boy but he was built. His muscles are shown even through his sweatshirt. He has this soft velvet looking black air that matched the rest of his appearance completely. The one in the middle looked hot as hell he had long black hair framing his face even with half of it up on a ponytail. He had what looked like the softest most plump lips and his eyes were fierce.

After checking out each of the boys quickly, Chan begins to introduce them to me.

“Guys this is y/n don't scare her off just yet please” Chris said, eyeing each of them.

He started with the soft cute guy on the other end introducing him as I.N., the one sext to him as Seungmin, the two next to them the squirrel looking being Han and the one with him Lee Know, the little ray of sunshine smiled at you as Chris introduced him as Felix the one in the middle as Hyunjin and the big buff one as Changbin.

“Well doll now you know my boys, don't be frightened by any of them, they can be a little abrasive and too much sometimes.” Chris said, looking right at me.

“Don't worry Chris I can handle myself these guys won't scare me off just yet” I said looking right back at him

He swung his arm around my shoulder as we sat there and talked. All these guys were very sweet but you couldn't shake the feeling you knew them from somewhere but you didn't want to be the one to scare them off after all this is a more high class place you wouldn't be surprised if these guys were models and you saw them in a magazine at some point.

After chatting for a while I decided I wanted to get another drink so I told Chris and he said he would walk me to the bar since he had to use the restroom anyways.

Chris walked me to the bar and left me to order my drink only after telling the bartender to put my drink on his tab. Once I had my drink of choice, a Dr.Pepper with Fireball I decided to continue to sit at the bar while I waited for Chris. Suddenly someone who was not Chris approached me. I had tried to tell him nicely I was not interested but he would not leave me alone.

“Come on, what is a pretty girl like you doing alone here” the guy said.

“Actually I am not alone, I am just waiting for someone”. I tried to say back

“Sure you are, why don't you just come dance with me”. He said back grabbing my wrist

“I said no, now leave me alone”

I tried to break out of his grasp but he was not letting go. Suddenly before I could even try to break out of his hold again someone else was there. Actually four someones. I noticed my hand being free again and when I looked over my shoulder Chris was there.

“Doll why don't you go back to the table and let the rest of the boys know we are going to be leaving in a minute. We will take care of this guy.” Chris said to you when he saw how shaken up you were.

When I looked around again I couldn't see the guy because Changbin, Lee Know, and Seungmin were surrounding him.

“Chris, what are you going to do to him? Don't start any trouble, it's ok, I am ok.” I tried to plead with him

“Dont worry doll it is going to be ok just let the guys know to start packing up” He said

“Ok i'll see you back at the table” I said before walking away.

As I approached the table with the rest of the boys I could see the worry on their faces but I could tell they were worried for me. As soon as I told them what Chris had said about leaving they stood up. Felix came over and hugged me asking if I was alright and I told him I was and downed my drink that I forgot was even in my hands. Pretty much as soon as I had finished my drink Chris and the other three came back and started ushering us out the door of the bar.

“I guess this is where we say our goodbyes, thank you for saving me” I said to Chris trying to give him a slight smile so he would believe I am alright.

“Doll if you think I'm leaving you after that you're pure wrong, I was wondering if you would like to come back to the dorm with the boys and I” He said looking a little hurt at the thought of me wanting to leave without him.

“I would actually really appreciate that but you don't have to, you've already done so much for me tonight.” I said feeling like he was pitying me.

“Doll I understand if you feel uncomfortable with going with eight guys you've just met but I really want you to feel safe.” He said.

“Ok then I would love to join you guys tonight, thank you.” I said looking at him, a smile plastered across my face. “Should I order us some Uber’s then, It's the least I could do”

“That's not necessary Doll, our ride is already here” Chris said motioning to this big black suv with tinted windows.

The boys started climbing in the car sitting the same way they did in the bar. Chris let me climb in first taking the seat on the end this time squeezing me between him and Felix .

“Wow this is fancy who are you guys” I said out loud but mostly wondering to myself

“That's a question for another day doll” chris said giving my shoulder a squeeze

It didn't seem rude the way he said it and I can respect their privacy. As the car began to drive I noticed Felix looking at me still worried so I held his hand giving it a little squeeze to try and reassure him I was truly ok especially now being surrounded by these eight wonderful guys. I rested my head on Chris’s chest while he had his arm around my shoulder and my hand still in Felix’s. After a little while I heard Chris calling to me.

“y/n doll we are here. Chris said in the sweetest voice.

As I began to open my eyes I realized I was still on Chris’s chest and my fingers still interlocked with Felix’s. Chan got out first holding the door open for me and taking my hand as I stepped out, legs wobbling a little. Maybe downing my last drink wasn't the best idea but it helped take the edge off at the time considering what had happened. Chris seemed to have taken notice and held my side while bringing me up the stairs. I noticed someone else's arm replaced Chris’s while he unlocked the door. As I looked to see who was holding me up I realized it was Lee Know the one who has been quiet most of the evening making me a little frightened of him. Once the door was opened I was back in Chris’s arms as he was leading me into a room. It was pretty tidy with some clothes in a little pile near the closet. There was LED’s hanging around the ceiling. They were set to a pretty purple color. There was a pretty big bed on the back left side of the room with a dark navy blue rug to match the bedding and curtains. On the opposite side of the room was a dresser. On the front side of the room there was a desk with a laptop set up.

Chris led you to the bed, setting me on the edge while he began to look through his dresser taking out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. He carried them over to me, placing the clothes down beside me as he began kneeling on the ground where he started to take my heels off.

“These look pretty uncomfortable. I hope you don't mind. And I figured you wouldn't want to sleep in that dress so you can wear those clothes.” Chris said

As he stood up he took my hand leading me to stand with him. He motioned to a door right next to his dresser.

“The bathroom is right there. There should be an extra toothbrush in the medicine cabinet and you can change in there if you would like.” Chris said smiling at me

“Thank you Chris, you really didn't have to do all of this.” I said as my cheeks started to blush I could feel them heating up under his stare.

“Of course doll after the night you have had it is the least I could do. Also you can call me Chan. My name is Chirs but it's my American name. I'm sorry for not telling you my name at first but You never know who you can trust but you seem like a sweet girl and so far I don't think you know me” Chan said looking shy while letting out a little chuckle towards the end of his sentence.

“It is ok I get it. Should I know who you are though Chan?” I said giving him a sly grin

“It is probably better that you don't but like I said in the car that is a story for another night go get changed doll so you can lay down.” Chan said, finally motioning towards the bathroom. “Also feel free to use anything in there.”

I nod at him and finally enter the bathroom. I get changed into the clothes Chan gave me and find some face wash. I wash my makeup off and moisturize my face then I brushed my teeth using the toothbrush I found in the medicine cabinet like Chan said I would. I exited the bathroom to meet a mostly naked Chan just in a pair of black boxers digging in his dresser. I let out a squeak and I covered my eyes.

“I am so sorry Chan I should have announced that I was coming back in.” I said knowing my face was bright red.

Chan threw on a pair of shorts then came and put both his hands on either side of my waist.

“Doll, it's ok you can open your eyes now. You really are too sweet, you didn't have to close your eyes and there's no need to be sorry. I probably should have waited and gotten changed in the bathroom after you. To be honest I usually don't sleep with anything on but I figured I should be decent in the presence of a beauty like you.” Chris said with the most caring tone I have ever heard.

“It's ok I can sleep on the couch so you can sleep comfortably in your own room” I said.

“Someone as pretty as you is not going to sleep on our couch but if it would make you more comfortable I can go sleep on the couch doll” Chan said, still holding my waist.

“No no I could never ask that of you, this is your room and I don't mind sharing the bed if you don't” I said finally looking Chan in the eyes.

Sounds like a plan then we will sleep in my bed doll” he said with a big smile on his face.

“I'm sorry to ask this after all you have done but do you have a hair tie?” I said

“I don't, but Felix or Hyunjin might, their room is right next door. I can go ask one of them.” chan answered

“Its ok I can go ask them you've already done so much for me” I said

Chan finally let go of my waist after telling me their room was literally the one right next to his. I left the room and quietly entered the hallway where I knocked on what I suspected to be Felix and Hyunjin’s room. The door slowly started to open and in front of me stood Hyunjin looking much taller than I had remembered from the club. I must have been staring because suddenly he starts talking.

“Hey whats up pretty” He said

“Oh hey sorry to disturb you but Chan said you might have a hair tie I could borrow” I said.

“Oh Chan said, it's good to see he trusts you with his real name now” Hyunjin said looking down at me. “You can come in, I'm just going to go grab you a hair tie from the bathroom.

“Ok thank you” I said following him into the bedroom.

As I entered the room I noticed two bodies cuddling on the bed. It was Felix and Changbin.

“Hey sunshine what brings you in here” Felix said as Hyunin walked by him and into what you assume is the bathroom.

Changbin looks up at you waiting for your answer.

“I am sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, I just need a hair tie.”

“You're not interrupting gorgeous,” Changbin said resting his head back on Felix’s chest.

“Here you go pretty” Hyunjin said as he handed you a hair tie.

“Thank you, I will leave you boys to have a good night” I said as I walked towards the door.

As I left the room I closed the door behind me and walked back into Chan’s room. Chan was sitting on the edge of his bed scrolling on his phone. I used the hair tie Hyunjin gave me to put my hair into a low ponytail.

“Welcome back doll” Chan said, lifting his head to look at me, putting his phone down beside him and spreading his arms for me to stand in front of him.

I approached him and he embraced me in his arms, wrapping them around my waist and resting his head on my stomach. I gently play with his hair as if this is the most natural thing for me as if I had not just met this man tonight.

“Why don't we lay down, it's getting pretty late doll” He says while letting me go, moving back on his bed leaving room for me to rest next to him.

I lay on the right side of him and we begin to get under the covers. He starts to cuddle me from behind and it is the most comforting feeling I have felt in a while.I start melting into him as his hold around me tightens. After a while I found myself listening to the beat of his heart and after some more time I drifted off to sleep.

When she walked out of the bathroom I was about to put some shorts on. I heard her little squeak before I saw her. When I looked up her hands were already covering her eyes. She looked so good in my clothes I couldn't take my eyes off of her and the rose colored tinting her cheeks was adorable. I finished putting my shorts on and walked over to her putting my hands on her waist. We chatted for a bit and she just seemed like the sweetest. Somehow I knew I could trust this girl with my whole heart. I couldn't keep lying to her even if it wasn't a lie I had to tell her my actual name. I stuttered my way through the whole confession but she was surprisingly understanding with everything. She then asked for a hair tie and I wished I had one to give her but I knew Hyunjin or Felix would have one. They both have pretty long hair right now and they like to keep it out of their faces when we go out. I offered to go get one for her knowing that Felix and Changbin sleep in the same room as Hyunjin and I didnt want to scare her off. But she insisted and after all she had seen them all cuddled together at the bar and did not question it. I told her where their room was and watched as she left the room. She came back a few minutes later. I was on my phone but as soon as I heard her footsteps in the room and the door closed behind her I looked up and put my phone down beside me. She looked at me with a confused expression on her face. I assume it was based on what she saw in the other room. I held my arms out for her to come stand in front of me.she put her hair up and did just that. I wrapped my arms around her waist just enjoying her warm embrace. She started playing with my hair and it just felt like the most natural thing on earth. I looked up at her and offered for us to lay down. I crawled up to the top of the bed and she laid next to me as we got under the covers. She laid in my arms and I wrapped her in my arms again. I could feel her instantly relax against me as she drifted off to sleep. I can never sleep comfortably but somehow this just felt so natural. I looked over her shoulder for a bit just admiring her natural beauty. Don't get me wrong she looked so pretty at the club with her makeup and her hair down but right now in her natural state hair tied back, no makeup, lips slightly parted as she was dreaming she was the prettiest person on earth. In her mid-twenties, she decided to take a break from the band and start a family. She welcomed her first child into the world, and his first cry was music to her ears. When she eventually went back to performing, she'd search the crowd for Digger and Lars after getting on stage.

Years later, Poppy gave birth to her second child, whom she named Oberon after the character from her favourite Shakespearian play. After his birth, Poppy decided to step off the stage permanently and began teaching private music lessons. While she misses the bright lights and screaming fans, she will never regret the memories made with her family.

Poppy always hoped she would be a grandmother one day, so when Lars told her Angela was pregnant, Poppy was overcome with joy. While she never fully approved of her son's choice of a wife, Angela made her son happy, so she kept her comments to herself… Most of the time.

A couple of years after the triplets had been born, Poppy, Digger, and Lars got a call that sent them rushing from New York to Concordia. Oberon was near death's door after being trapped in a house fire. Poppy never wanted to see one of her children so badly hurt and prayed every day that she wouldn't have to bury her baby.

Her prayers were answered when the doctors declared Oberon stable enough to be taken out of his medical coma. Poppy cried when she saw him open his eyes for the first time and held on tightly when Oberon squeezed her hand. Once he was given clearance to fly, Poppy and Digger got everything ready to bring their son with them to New York.

The next time Poppy had to sit beside her son's hospital bed was after Lars found his brother had overdosed on pain medication. She never imagined that her son would try to kill himself, but once she found out why he had done it, she finally understood what he had been truly going through.

She cried for the son-in-law and grandson she never got to meet. Both sounded lovely, and she cursed whoever had robbed her son of his family, of his happiness. She was even more upset that Oberon's agency denied him the opportunity to say goodbye and bury his boys.

Poppy and Digger did everything they could to help Oberon, including moving back to Australia to be with him, and later Lars and Angela sent the triplets there to live with them while they travelled with the Bureau. She and Oberon reconnect through music, and Poppy was so happy when she saw the light returning to his eyes.

When Poppy had the chance to meet Lars's team, she never imagined that it would lead to her finding out that Oberon's husband and son had never died in the fire. And while she wished they could have met under better circumstances, Poppy welcomed the two into the family with open arms.

After everyone was safe, Poppy and her family witnessed Lars, and the Bureau set sail for SOMBRA island. While she will always worry about her children's safety, she knows her son is in good hands with his team - a team who has become a family.

Following SOMBRA's defeat, Poppy and Digger reunited with their family and friends in New York to celebrate the Bureau's victory. After being told what had happened following the team leaving Australia, Poppy couldn't believe what Angela had done to betray the Bureau and Lars. While she always thought there was something strange about Angela, Poppy felt she truly loved her son. But she cannot forgive Angela for siding with SOMBRA after everything the Bureau had uncovered. Nor can she forget about the danger Angela put the team in and how it was her fault Oberon had suffered so much. Poppy can only hope that Lars will find happiness again, even if he never remarries, and that Angela will never hurt him or any of Poppy's family again.
