[female and she/her] Welcome to Aurora Bay, [MARJORIE GUEST]! I couldn’t help but notice you look an awful lot like [BRIANNE HOWEY]. You must be the [THIRTY FIVE] year old [DANCE STUDIO OWNER]. Word is you’re [POSITIVE] but can also be a bit [JEALOUS] and your favorite song is [PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BY SABRINA CARPENTER]. I also heard you’ll be staying in [FISHER'S COVE]. I’m sure you’ll love it!
@aurorabayaesthetic
tw: age difference (implied), tw: cheating, tw: abuse (implied)
Basics Name: Marjorie Guest Age: 35 Occupation: Dance Studio Owner Residence: Fisher's Cove, Aurora Bay
Personality: Marjorie’s personality is a study in contrasts. Outwardly bubbly and engaging, she exudes an infectious energy that draws people in. However, beneath this veneer lies a core of steel—a remnant of her survival instincts from her pageant days and tumultuous marriage. Her charm is deliberate, often masking a calculated approach to her interactions. While she is warm and approachable, there’s a guarded side to her, shaped by a lifetime of strategic maneuvering and personal reinvention.
Background: Marjorie Guest’s journey from Memphis to Aurora Bay is one marked by dramatic shifts and hard-won success. Born into a working-class family in a gritty part of Memphis, Tennessee, Marjorie’s early years were defined by financial hardship and limited opportunities. Her parents, struggling to make ends meet, often argued about money, and the household was marred by tension and instability.
From a young age, Marjorie was determined to escape her circumstances. She realized that her beauty and charisma could be her ticket out. By the time she was a teenager, she had already begun competing in local beauty pageants, where her striking features and graceful demeanor began to catch the eye of judges and sponsors. Her relentless drive paid off when she won the Miss Tennessee title. This achievement was not only a personal triumph but also a crucial stepping stone to a broader stage.
Winning Miss Tennessee was a turning point. It opened doors to new opportunities, and Marjorie seized them with a combination of ambition and strategic thinking. She leveraged her pageant title to secure a position with the renowned Rockettes in New York City. The high-profile role allowed her to refine her performance skills and further cement her status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Her time with the Rockettes was marked by rigorous schedules, demanding rehearsals, and glittering performances, but Marjorie thrived under the spotlight, using every moment to build her personal brand.
While her career in the limelight was flourishing, Marjorie’s personal life was taking a significant turn. She entered into a high-profile marriage with a wealthy and influential businessman. The union was initially celebrated as a fairytale romance, complete with luxurious parties and high society events. However, behind the scenes, the marriage was fraught with challenges. Marjorie’s husband was controlling and unfaithful, leading to a turbulent relationship marked by public scandals and private betrayals.
After years of enduring the complexities of her marriage, Marjorie faced a major turning point when she decided to leave. The divorce was messy and highly publicized, involving lengthy legal battles and a significant financial settlement. Though the divorce was a painful chapter, it also marked the beginning of a new era for Marjorie.
Her departure from her past was also marked by a dramatic severance from her family. Feeling that her rise to fame and fortune demanded a complete break from her previous life, Marjorie made the difficult decision to cut ties with her mother and siblings. The final contact she had with her family was marred by betrayal; her mother attempted to extort money from her, exploiting the family’s strained relationship for financial gain. This act of desperation and dishonesty left Marjorie with feelings of deep resentment and emotional scars, further solidifying her resolve to distance herself from her past.
With her divorce settlement in hand and a fierce determination to forge her own path, Marjorie relocated to Aurora Bay. In this new chapter, she established herself as a dance studio owner, creating a space where elegance and discipline intertwine. Her studio quickly became a hub for the city’s elite, drawing in students and patrons who admired her success and sophistication. Despite her polished exterior, Marjorie remains a figure shaped by her past struggles and triumphs, carrying with her the lessons and scars of her journey as she continues to build her new life.

Full Name: Fletcher Owen Bailey
Nicknames: Fletch
Pronouns and Gender: He/Him, Cis Male
Age and Birthday: 32 years old, March 23rd
Birth place: Blooming Glen, PA, grew up in Philadelphia
Sexuality: Biromantic Bisexual
Status: Taken (npc named Cynthia)
Occupation: Server at All Nighter Diner
Education: High School Diploma
Residence: Seabrook
Time in Aurora Bay: 3+ years
Family: Owen Bailey (father), Erica Bailey (mother), Hunter Bailey, Max Bailey, Joshua Bailey (older brothers), Oliver Bailey (his son)
Face claim: Logan Lerman
(teenage pregnancy, abortion mention, loveless marriage, unhealthy family dynamics)
HISTORY —
Fletcher had been the fourth son born to a couple in Blooming Glen, Pennsylvania. With a seven year gap between Fletcher and the last born boy it led to him being excluded from older activities as well as taunted by the two middle sons just all for the fun of it.
His only solace was his eldest brother who had matured faster than the other two, and his mother. And oh, Fletcher most loved his mother, who was soft and tender and was the only one who would focus on him when he tried to talk at the dinner table. He did his best to linger behind to help clean up after meals and stick by her side because she made him feel known. Every day his father had to come look for him to try and put him to work around the farm.
Now his father wasn’t a kind man. Not to him nor to his mother. Never was domestic violence an issue in the household, but even at as young as five years old Fletcher understood an absence of love in their marriage. His mother was a quiet and timid woman so looking back it made sense why she stuck around, but then he’d always wondered and he’d wonder more so when he got the brunt of his father’s nasty side brought out by his habitual drinking.
(One of his brother’s would say it had been because Fletch had been the son of the milk man. The other would insist he’d been dropped off in a FEDEX package. He never understood either at that age.)
It was when he turned twelve that he decided he was fed up with how things worked in his house. He packed his duffel bag and walked off the farm to never look back, finding a bus stop and taking on to Philadelphia. His father lividly reminded him their house didn’t have a revolving door despite his mother’s pleading to get him to come home. As much as Fletcher missed her, he had no intention of returning ever.
In Philadelphia, Fletcher’s aunt of his had a spare bedroom - his mother had contacted her sister to ensure he had a roof over his head. Fletcher always knew even if it wasn’t said that she was doing her best to keep him taken care of, and he had a good relationship with his aunt anyway. This opportunity granted him the chance to build life in a busier city, immerse himself in public schooling, and to finally seek out his purpose.
Fletcher wasn’t a star student with a low G.P.A., struggling with Cs and Ds (his only A being his phys. ed. class), which left him unqualified to join any after school sports. Instead, he spent most of his time sitting on the floor of a local bookstore reading comic books. Socially withdrawn, it took almost a full school year until he made his first friend that introduced him into a bigger circle.
Fletcher found he adored each and every one of them, hanging onto every detail of the stories they told and admiring the caliber of life they all experienced. Aside from that they also brought adventure into his life in the form of spontaneous late-night drives, getting drunk on hiking trails outside of the city, and eating their weight’s worth in fast food after midnight. It was all simple, but it was more than he got to be involved in while in Blooming Glen.
In that time, Fletcher had also met his high school sweetheart. He may have been only sixteen, but he was sure he found The One. The unraveled around their senior year, when they were both eighteen and a positive pregnancy test brought two very different reactions from them. Fletch, wanting to keep the baby, and his partner wanting freedom in her future. Her decision to go through with a medical abortion clashed with his excitement turned disappointment, and it created an irreparable rift. They didn’t last long after graduation.
Fletcher aimed for community college, but that lasted about a year before he dropped. He lost his drive and immersed himself in the same late nights filled with drunken antics that he indulged in while in high school. At twenty, he saved up enough money to get a snug studio apartment outside of West Philadelphia. He sought employment at the nearest tavern and started as a dishwasher, then moved up to bartender within the year.
With no goal in mind, Fletcher stuck it out there. It wasn’t all that fulfilling, but the money was good enough. The restlessness inside of him had to be ignored when responsibility was needed to keep off the streets. Fletcher just found value in his friendships and the experiences shared with them for the time-being.
When Fletcher was twenty-five, met a girl on one of his shifts, she swept him up into a whirlwind of a romance. She reminded him of his high school sweetheart a bit, and in many ways she was different. In those ways, it was exciting and new, and they moved fast. A little too fast, to those on the outside, and just like candles that burn too bright at the start, they burnt out fast.
The thing was, a couple of months after the break-up, Fletch was hit with the news of her pregnancy. With the choice up to her, Fletcher knew that should she keep it, he would be involved in some way. The thing was, when the baby was born - a son, he'd been delighted - he became very involved, very quickly.
She wanted nothing to do with being a mother, admitted to being pressured by her parents to keep it, and with the baby in her arms came the realization that she didn't want to do it. The moment adoption was brought up, Fletcher instantly threw out the suggestion of giving him full custody, and lo and behold, that's how Oliver became a very prominent part of his life.
There had been no regrets with the decision, Fletcher fashioned a life around being a father, and when he was twenty-eight, he moved out to California. Philadelphia was dangerous, and he figured a fresh start while Oliver was young enough would make it easy for him to acclimate to the West Coast. He settled in Aurora Bay - a safe, small town - and after a brief stretch of time at the local Sweet Nothings Bakery, he started a job at the Four Leaf as a bartender until the conflict of schedule with Cynthia’s absence made it difficult in regard to Oliver’s school schedule. He’s more recently, in the last three months, started a job at the diner.
TRAITS.
+ observant, intuitive
+/- down-to-earth, passive
- melancholic, insecure
HEADCANONS.
✧ Fletcher does know how to ride a horse, and he knows basic homesteading. Very very basic, as he’d been young when he dipped out on the cattle farm. I.e. canning, making dummy pickles, growing a small herb garden over the back of his kitchen sink. ✧ One of his favorite places to visit in Philadelphia was the Mutter Museum. ✧ Fletcher is a very enthusiastic Philadelphia Flyers fan, and he loves Gritty — as can be seen in the various bits of Gritty apparel in his closet, the coffee mug in the cabinet, and the sticker on the back of his car. ✧ Fletcher is allergic to strawberries. ✧ He will only drink Fiji water. No Smart water, no Dasani, no Poland Springs or Deer Park. None of it. He wants Fiji. ✧ He’s terrified of spider crickets (or camel crickets, whichever is the name you know them by). ✧ His son is from a relationship prior to his current girlfriend, and he is six years old. He has full custody, not for any reason other than his ex-girlfriend deciding that she didn't want to be a mother. ✧ Says water like 'wooder', as one example of his a typical Philadelphia accent. ✧ He met Cynthia in California. They were together here on the west coast, but she had to return to New York for work for a while, and they decided long distance is feasible as there will be an end to her time there. That, and he can travel and lives returning to the East Coast from time to time. ✧ Fletch initially worked at Sweet Nothing's when he arrived until he could get himself more established. After seven months, he then sought employment at the Four Leaf for better pay. He works at the All Nighter solely due to Cynthia temporary returning to New York as having a kid with a night job schedule was difficult, and the diner allowed more flexibility.
CONNECTIONS.
Fletcher is not open for any new romantic connections currently being he is in a long-distance relationship. He can use friends from the last several years, if anyone wants a negative connect please hmu. Neighbors in Seabrook, regulars at the Four Leaf, and even old regulars he'd met when he previously worked at the bakery.
♡ @shilohsharma - neighbor on one side, emergency fill in babysitter when fletch is in a pinch.
♡ @leomlarson - one of fletch's first friends when he moved to aurora bay, earned the honorary title of 'uncle leo' from oliver.

PAXTON BRADY
Full Name: Paxton Charles Brady
Nicknames: Pax
Pronouns and Gender: He/Him, Cis Male
Age and Birthday: 33 years old, February 28th
Birth place: Stillwater, Minnesota
Sexuality: Homoromantic Demisexual
Status: Dating
Occupation: Comics Emporium Attendant / Freelance Illustrator
Education: BFA in Illustration w/ a minor in Sequential Art
Residence: Fisher's Cove
Family: Carin Brady, Weston Brady, sibling to be named
Time in Aurora Bay: 20 years
Face claim: Dylan O'Brien
tw : body injury, car accident, amputation, temporary amnesia, subtle mental health issues mention, divorce mention, single parent mention
HISTORY —
Paxton has had a rather peaceful, mundane life. There isn't all that much that has happened between Stillwater and Aurora Bay. Raised with two parents that doted on him, he never had to want for a thing. Not in the spoiled sense considering the moment he could handle simple tasks, he'd been taught the discipline of chores and basic household responsibilities, but the fridge was never empty, he never had to fear homelessness, and he always had a shirt on his back.
His father remarried to the woman that is his mother, giving Paxton an older step-sibling that flitted in and out of his life. Things had been mostly amicable between them despite how the relationship could sometimes feel strained. Forced good will between children and all, trying to create a blended family just exhausted them both from time to time.
When he'd hit his teen years, Pax better understood the pressure put on his sibling. Bouncing from home to home for holidays, having to make time for each parent, and living with their mother was, though stable, could only provide a fraction of what Pax received. There was no hate for his father as the desire of a divorce had been a mutual decision, and both parents wanted to keep things peaceful for the sake of their kid.
Aside from his sibling, Paxton mostly kept to himself. He had few acquaintances, even fewer friends, and he opted for solitude most times. It is where he developed his skill in drawing - alone, scrawling away on paper and creating characters and stories into the early hours of the morning. His academic grades were average, he didn't join any clubs, but he would spend hours in the art studios creating.
The thing was, Paxton focused on a very specific type of art. Still life drawings weren't his privy, nor were painted self portraits, or charcoal sketches of landscapes. He liked to draw from his mind, and he contributes that to the array of comic books he'd been gifted throughout his childhood.
At twelve, his parents decided they wanted to escape the cold winters of Minnesota. One can only handle so many snowstorms in their lifetime, and Pax didn't care either way. He had no friends he'd miss, and his half-sibling had just gotten their acceptance letter for college. A change of scenery could be good.
It was, at first. The sunshine was nice, it boosted his mood, and he'd been a fairly happy kid finishing his teen years there. The education system seemed to have a lot more in their curriculum, too, which had been an added bonus. With more resources for illustration and visual story-telling, of course he'd find himself at home their.
When he was eighteen, Paxton had been biking home from school to Fisher's Cove. It was in mid-November, so the sun had already started to set, and he was difficult to see on the shoulder. He'd been struck crossing an intersection when the other car didn't see him and allow him the right away.
The details of the accident are lost too him, but all he'd remembered after enough time was waking up to white walls and fluorescent lights, with that antiseptic smell assaulting his nostrils and his mouth feeling like he'd been sucking on nothing but cotton. Paxton found out he'd been out for six days. He also quickly found out he'd lost his right leg from the knee down.
The car that had hit him caused enough damage when he rolled under the front wheel that a transtibial amputation was necessary. It'd been a shock, putting it lightly, and nothing could prepare him for the road ahead. Adapting to the lost extremity, recovery, physical therapy - Pax barely felt like he could get through it. Even with the funding of a prosthetic.
Despite that, he did make it through the trials and tribulations. With a fair amount of physical therapy and psychological help, the distorted body image issues and insecurities, though not entirely negated, have been quieted so that he can function day to day. After enough years it had just become a part of him, and Paxton made a late start to college at age twenty-one.
A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Visual Story Telling had been his focus, and he earned his degree in four years. Following graduation, he had a brief stint up in the animation studios in Los Angeles and Burbank until the insane work hours had him quit and return back to Aurora Bay.
He lives with his parents still, and they happily house him while he works at the comic shop and is a freelance illustrator on the side, waiting for his art to kick off where he can put all his energy into that.
TRAITS.
+ Empathetic, focused.
+/- Reserved, gullible.
- Escapist, people-pleasing.
HEADCANONS.
⊹ Paxton enjoys drawing action images the most. Any chance to get commissioned to draw anything vaguely comic book esq is his favorite sort of work to create.
⊹ He still reaches out to his half-sibling from time to time. Every month that passes the messages get more scarce, but he does try.
⊹ Paxton, despite finding a love for putting together compositions, does have the obstacle of Anomalous trichromacy color blindness. It is the mildest form, but color theory courses had been a struggle.
⊹ Paxton worked in world building in a big animation studio in Los Angeles. He enjoys illustration, but visual story-telling falls right under the umbrella.
⊹ The family dog is a Boykin Spaniel named Duke, and he is just on the edge of turning twelve this year. He'd been a gift after the move so that Paxton wasn't always alone. He also has a pet tree frog he named Carafroggio (sorta like Caravaggio but definitely not).
⊹ Paxton's favorite food is garlic butter pasta, and his favorite snack is french fries dipped in chocolate milkshake.
⊹ He is not aware that his romantic attraction is towards solely men. The obstacle of navigating something under the asexual umbrella has left him stuck with compulsory heterosexuality, so while he's aware he is romantically attracted to men, he hasn't ruled out women. Give him time, he'll get there. (this is why in the past I don't mind dates and such with female presenting muses)
⊹ Paxton will have a new tattoo sleeve as of his birthday, done by Mack. Looks like [ this ].
⊹ He cannot listen to Bob Marley's 3 Little Birds because it was the last thing he heard in his headphones before he dozed off when he was hit by that car. It's not a trauma flashback issue, it just makes him mad because the universe has a cruel sense of humor.
CONNECTIONS.
romantic connects will be added in the future once I get Paxton more established. I am open to any exes connections, or even an 'almost' or 'what if' that fell off! I also don’t do any sort of pregnancy plots on a whim - scares, accidental, planned, etc. I need more in game interaction and chemistry and heavy HEAVY plotting for those because hey, it never feels right if it's forced.
♡ @kaylatullz - mikayla came into paxton's life like an unexpected earthquake. hard to miss and very present. admittedly, she'd been overwhelming to him as he was freshly new to Aurora Bay and California and hurting over leaving his home state, but he quickly warmed up to her — as if given a choice at all in the matter — and kayla had been the first person to not make him feel so bad about being the odd kid out. because they both were, together.
♡ @sterlingxlevin - paxton appreciates sterling's creative eye. they are current project partners for some of the town's upcoming events, and he really enjoys her perspective when it comes to fleshing out an idea and making it come to life. he will forever envy her ability to work with three-dimensional art.
♡ @hcnter - although having gone to the same high school, the years between them made it so paxton didn't officially meet hunter until his late twenties. shy but wanting, they ended up tangled in the sheets together, but paxton left it at just a hook up. not because he didn't like hunter, but because he's emotionally occupied elsewhere, given the lack of closure in things from his past. this does not mean there aren't any lingering feelings as paxton has a tendency to attach bits of himself to any person he experiences so intimately.
♡ @cricketcampbell - cricket had been hired by his mother to cook for a few family evens, but now it's turned into carin inviting her over for wine and dinner, no work necessary. pax enjoys her company, he doesn't mind playing messenger between the two, even if he is half certain his mother loves cricket more than him.
♡ @leomlarson - the attention leo gives him is nice, but what began at surface level flirting and paxton blushing has definitely turned into a little crush. it's hard not to, with how charming, talented and charismatic leo is. he does seek his friendship above all else, because pax thinks he has a lot to learn from him in terms of art, and he hopes he keeps coming around the comic shop or invites him out more often.
♡ @buddywellls - ex-boyfriend, when they started dating it was great. pax loved the energy, all he could think about was buddy, and he wanted nothing more than to be with him. until he didn't, then they slowly fizzled out and they stayed together long past the relationship's expiration - which let to a rough break up.
♡ @esmemaxwcll - high school ex-girlfriend, they dated for a bit until pax felt like it just didn't suit them. he wanted to keep her friendship, though, and he's her friend to this day.
♡ @ziggykyeons - there is never a dull day at comic emporium is ziggy is on shift. pax can attest to that. either it's all fun and light-hearted goofing, or there's an off chance some fans are in there causing a touch of a ruckus looking for their beloved streamer. his confidence is forever an enviable trait, pax can only wish to carry himself with even a fraction of what ziggy exudes.
♡ @masoncambridge - little brother older brother vibes. mason was a senior that helped little freshman paxton around when this kid, all too nervous, came in with his knees knocking to big bad high school.
♡ @kennyxtamblyn - old classmates, and two kids who started a little lgbtq+ club temporarily in high school. more tba

SAMUEL KANE
Full Name: Samuel Kane
Nicknames: Sam, Sammy
Pronouns and Gender: He/Him, Cis Male
Age and Birthday: 35 years old, July 14th
Birth place: Unknown, grew up in foster care in Charleston, SC
Sexuality: Homoromantic Homosexual
Occupation: Arborist at the Botanical Gardens
Residence: Ocean Crest Apartments
Time in Aurora Bay: 4 years
Face claim: Dev Patel
tw violence, weapons, drugs, foster care, mild mention of grooming, homelessness, substance abuse, involuntary manslaughter, homophobia, mental health issues, incarceration, relapse
HISTORY —
Samuel was a foster kid, never landed in an actual family and bounced around, diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, in suit depression, and dysgraphia. He had ended up in a group home from ages seventeen to nineteen when he befriended an older man.
He and that man both found a shoebox apartment together, and Sam slept on the sofa for two years, got involved in drug dealings, learned how to grow marijuana and mushrooms from his roommate.
It was a lucrative business, it kept him with a roof over his head, and it gave him money to afford health insurance to buy his prescriptions. He also briefly sparked a romance with his older roommate, feelings one-sided on Sam’s end, until he’d told Sam he was bringing a girlfriend to live with them.
He didn’t like her due to jealousy issues, but he was cordial. It never clicked that intimacy was something Sam was used for by the older man taking advantage of him needing a roof over his head.
At twenty-two he’d unknowingly been driving a car with marijuana in the glove box when he was pulled over, and his friend and friend’s girlfriend were able to take off undetected. Samuel took the fall and was locked up overnight and faced a sentence of a misdemeanor and served thirty days in jail.
His roommate did nothing to help or put money on his books at that time despite Sam not snitching on him, so their relationship was strained when he got out and had to hitchhike home.
The resentment grew and made the living situation tense, and it took about six weeks and Sam laced a small stash of personal weed with fentanyl. The girl overdosed and passed away, but Sam packed his things and left Scott-free. If asked today about it, he can say he knows it happened, but the memory is a blur. His present remorse for the action was completely nonexistent when it happened.
Sam was back to trying to find an apartment to live in. He found another means to grow and produce under the roof of an older woman who offered him a room for his assistance.
Around twenty five years old he started sampling the product, per se, and developed his own streak of addictive tendencies on and off for the next two years especially when he couldn’t afford his medications. Once belongings around the house went missing he was kicked out again with nothing but his backpack and the clothes on his body.
Once again he sofa-surfed, but he never had a permanent roof over his head. At twenty-six it was a particularly cold night in South Carolina. He broke into a convenience store for money and food using a crowbar to smash the windows and break down the metal gated barrier.
Little did he know that the owner lived in the apartment above the store and came down in a panic, and Sam, startled, swung the crowbar in his hands and cracked it to the older woman’s head.
Before heading down she flipped an alarm so Sam couldn’t escape by the time authorities arrived. She suffered blunt force trauma that resulted in a fractured skull.
Sam was charged with assault to the first degree and breaking and entering, sentenced to five years in prison after proving that the assault had not been a planned attack. He was also sentenced to drug rehabilitation while incarcerated, that he agreed to.
Sam got on well and ducked his head save for one poor run in with another inmate that led him to being beaten in the showers as a result of being queer. The trauma left him with partial hearing loss in his left ear. On a positive note, he did take advantage of the education system in there for botany.
Sam was released a year early after his case was appealed, and he proved his sobriety for the duration of his incarceration. He had to complete a year of probation. It was shortly after he did that he nearly had a relapse, and Sam sought out rehabilitation once more to keep on the straight and narrow. It took a few months, but once done he hopped to the West Coast.
Far from Charleston, far from his past.
He landed in Aurora Bay four years ago, his first job was at the flower shop. While he worked there, he continued online studies off of his associate's degree. Sam made a job change to an arborist at the botanical gardens after he earned his bachelors. The switch was made earlier this year.
Unfortunately, it wasn't smooth sailing and Sam hit a hiccup in the road, falling into a depression and relapsing. The habit made it impossible for him to maintain his work schedule, and within the week Sam took a leave of absence from work and put himself into a rehab in Laguna Beach.
He returned as of middle of December, and is getting back into the swing of things.
TRAITS.
+ Peaceful, humble.
+/- Intuitive, benevolent.
- Rueful, unpredictable.
HEADCANONS.
⊹ Sam's name was given to him by the orphanage, being it was in the bible belt, his first name is considered biblical. Samuel - Name of God. Kane was given as his surname as it means 'little battler', and he'd been found after a chill overnight that should have left him ill at the very least.
⊹ He is a vegetarian.
⊹ Despite his sobriety he has allowed himself a one drink limit of beer or wine when he is out with friends, and will switch to non-alcoholic. No hard liquor, however.
⊹ He has made conscious efforts for environmental services in Aurora Bay, from picking up trash on the beaches to advocating for accessible recycling locations to try and keep things green. He even composts some of his own food at home for his very small balcony garden.
⊹ Sam has two lovebirds named Honey Dew and Agave. They are his life.

CONNECTIONS.
Sam is a friendly guy, especially after battling drug addiction he finds that trying to remain upbeat and talking to new people is a great way to keep himself occupied. He is a bit more standoffish now following his release from rehab. Suggestions for connections include any past ex-friends, exes, people he is on good terms with, anyone who is in N.A. with him, beach clean-up partners, any plant enthusiasts who visit the botanical gardens.

I also heard you’ll be staying in [OCEAN CREST APARTMENTS]. I’m sure you’ll love it!

CHARACTER HISTORY [tw: cheating, drugs]
Growing up, Kieran was the oldest of four. Things weren’t so bad, they had a decent house that fit everyone comfortably and that included his mother’s current pregnancy. But his world was shattered when he caught his father with someone else.
Donald Morris chose to pursue a different family that day, one that he was building with his pregnant girlfriend. He pushed out his family and Kieran’s mother moved them into a small two bedroom apartment.
Evelyn Morris was forced to take on longer shifts at the hospital leaving Kieran in charge to provide dinner for the household. As a child Kieran loved to create, carefully studying recipes while his mother cooked but it was still a lot for a 10 year old boy to take on.
His grades started to decline, Kieran was often found doodling on his test papers or asleep under a pair of sunglasses. He remained a fun class clown, his shield, and took things day by day. He fell in with the wrong crowd, but found a way to provide for his family. There was an opportunity for him to get his hands on items people craved and pocket a share of the cash to help pay for groceries. He barely graduated, there was a teacher who saw his potential ensuring he’d at least get a diploma.
He had a good share of friends, ones that kept him busy along with his video games and art but he’d never invite them over into the chaos. “His mom was working late.”
He decided that he wanted to focus on art, keeping his grades steady enough to land him a scholarship at an out of state college but he turned it down. After all, he couldn't abandon his mother to take care of 3 children alone.
He got a job at the comic shop to stay close to what he loved, slowly giving up on his night job to be a better influence — somewhat. With his siblings older he was able to move out into an apartment with a roommate, but he still gives some of the extracurricular pay to his mom.
