Nico di Angelo headcanons bc why not
He’s likely to speak a few languages, rich kids back in the 40s were probably taught French or Latin (add his native Italian, Greek bc demigods, and English learnt in the US), and if you know Italian and Latin, learning Spanish isn’t too difficult, specially if Reyna gives him a hand
Imagine him and Reyna dissing people in Spanish “uh, acá viene este loco de vuelta” “shh Nico, te puede escuchar” “ah, sí, pero no me puede entender”
In TTC he probably still had an accent. I’ve seen hc of his and Bianca’s accents fading in the Lotus H&C but take into account that to them it was only a few months, and that people in that place didn’t socialise much...
His accent becoming super strong when he’s emotional (angry, upset, very happy, excited...)
Nico definitely grows up in height. His father made a lasting impression on Percy in TLT, so he’s probably tall. It’d be hilarious if he ended up taller than Percy
1.85m Nico walks in a councilor’s meeting at camp like “‘Sup, how’s it goin’, yeah, I grew up a foot in two months, it hurt like hell, thanks for the surprised looks”
He’s a dog person. Kids? Nah, he’d rather have 20 dogs
The best uncle/godfather of the next generation of heroes, always bringing gifts and surprise-visiting them
He gets along with Frank really well (in SoN he’s shown to like the big guy, and Frank doesn’t seem all that scared of Nico) they tease Hazel mercilessly
He drives like sh*t. “Stop sign? But, Percy, there was no one on the road!” “You still have to stop, Nico!” “Boh...”/“You just missed a red light” “Jason, for the last time, if you cross in orange it’s not a fellony” “You seem to have a very loose grasp of what’s legal”
Pls tell me Sally sort of adopts him at some point like “No way you’ll spend your teenage years running errands for your father” “But Aunt Sally...” “I don’t care if he’s the king of the Underworld, he kidnapped me once, I don’t fear him anymore” “I don’t think...” “You’re staying here. C’mon, wash your hands and have some lunch”
