1) hm. first of all, poor moopy having fuck-all to do while we rescue their character and the only person in the same space as rim is fucking monoceros who is no fun to talk to at all because he has two personality traits and they're a) committing arson for no reason and b) saying things like "murder is such a messy business" with no trace of irony

2) impressed with scratchlover999's commitment to posting through it on this rp despite their storytelling ethos so clearly not gelling with ours. we talk about "where is moopy now" but where is scratchlover. i hope they become a woman and fall in love with virginia.

3) the extranei being famous and being regarded as "the heroes" is so fucking funny. things they have done: a) helped a bunch of fairies and unicorns, b) rescued a girl who already lived with them from some robbers, c) failed to save goatville. indikum doesn't need these hormonal teenagers it needs volunteer firefighters.

4) highlights of this nonsense

Help. Is the implication that Quarz doesn't want to date unless it's someone in no way equal in narrative importance to her? Or is it a follow-up on earlier and she's enjoying getting what is for once the same kind of unrequited male attention that spark gets? much to think about.

It is worth noting that even in early installments where I make fun of Quartz constantly for being ~girly~, i never made her "boy crazy", that greatest of Girlish Sins. [Spock voice] Fascinating

5) Then Ky gets given a book called "Adventures of the Extranei: Harnessers of the Eight Element Powers," never mind that they in fact only harness six. It for some reason contains detailed examinations of deeply private moments between the crew, which (if I wanted to be a buzzkill) I would say was deeply creepy but obviously the gang is just having fun with Baby's First Metatextuality so I'll let it slide.

6) Then Chuji (who is broadly correct but perhaps overreacting a little) yells at everyone that they've got tozis to revive and rims to rescue. I do think it's at times understated how fairly distinct Augustine Girls are from each other. Chuji's a lot less Perky Yippee :) and a lot more goal-focused with a lot more of a temper than annue, and less uwu shy than holt. just things to bear in mind. Obsidian bodily pulls Quartz from the village and she was like "hey why did you do that i liked being famous :(" and gets told off for not thinking about tozi and rim's fates enough because quartz is not allowed to have fun in this roleplay. (the implication seems be that they were in the village for like.. an hour! a significant amount of time but not MAKE OR BREAK for their fairly generous timeline which is sooooo so fucking fast btw.) that said, obsidian being gung-ho about Bringing Tozi Back is great.
