Okay, fine.
1. Tower of Babel is a mistranslation. When the Bible is talking about language like we use the word language, they use the word Tongue. Language in that context means culture (which, could be argued that it was not an Act of God so much as a natural consequence of the Babylonians not putting God at the center of their worship). Also, we are promised in Zephaniah 3 that God will return to us a pure language (culture) so everyone can worship him as one, even to the point where during Pentecost, everyone heard in their own tongue (language) as a sign from God. Therefore, it is through a single language (tongue) that great things are brought to pass, and while it can be used for evil, it can also be used for good. When we do have a universal language, whether that be Latin or English or Arabic or Mandarin, that is when great advancements happen, and I do not believe that any 5000 year leap can be anything but divinely inspired.
2. See reply to Auggie
3. Cats are inferior pets to dogs, not because they are inferior animals (I actually prefer them to dogs), but because the reasons one would want a pet — companionship, guardianship, petting an animal improving mental health, social enrichment in taking them out to parks or on walks, daily responsibility training, and unconditional love — are more suited towards dogs than cats, and finding a cat the behaves like you'd expect from a pet rare.
4. Now, I didn't say abusive, I said toxic. Toxic relationships aren't necessarily abusive; it's a relationship that makes you worse of a person — less compassionate, less responsible, quicker to anger, more impulsive. And that does eventually develop into mutual abuse because it makes you a bad person. It degrades you. But the behavior that one person finds degrading, for example, a friend that encourages you to skip work, is something another person desperately needs (in this case, they're a workaholic) and actually improves their life.
5. I mean everything. You specialize as a doctor and forget your humanities, you end up with no empathy and a god complex. You specialize as a ballerina and forget about how hyperextension is bad for your joints and your broken in your 40s. Specialize in a niche major in school and you have no prospects once you're out. There was a time in America where anyone could be anything before they died. Abraham Lincoln was not unique in being an agrarian politician with training in law, a patent for steam ships, and who was good at wrestling and really liked gun design and spent his free time doing hard math equations. The majority of Americans were multifaceted generalists. One might re-subtitle the Gadsden flag "adapt or die" because that is how people lived before the Progressive Era that forced specialization down everyone's throats, that which has led to the decline of American Exceptionalism into American Mediocrity and will lead to the overthrow of America in the world hierarchy.
6. I. I have no argument for this one. I like chocolate as an enhancement for other flavors, but on its own, it's mid. Hot chocolate is an exception (top tier).
Do you mind saying something controversial so I can disagree with you?
Pineapple belongs on pizza. Child free businesses are reasonable. Medical doctors are a net negative for society. Sunscreen is bad for you. Gentle parenting is permissive parenting with extra steps. Anime characters from stories inspired by Europe are white. Having a single universal language is actually a good thing. Mormons are Christian. American isolationism would actually suck. School is not and should not exist to teach job readiness. Christianity should adapt to culture. Millennial gray isn't actually that bad as an aesthetic, it's just overdone. Cats are inferior pets to dogs. Spanking is fine. Eating when you want is actually good for your body, even and especially when it "breaks rules." Middle parts look worse on the majority of faces. What a toxic relationship is for one person/group is good for another. Specialization is a death sentence. Every behavior has the potential for addiction. Pimple patches that look like stickers are the worst invention ever. Chocolate isn't actually that good. Inner peace is actually something you should be avoiding. The reason why people who wear fake nails have "that style" of hand movements is because fake nails degrade your joints. Cinderella's dress is silver. Going viral on this website isn't that bad.
Or were you looking for something specific?

Remember when Jim Carrey rapped IN CHARACTER AS THE GRINCH with Busta Rhymes?
I revisited the clandestine bizarre piece of cult classic Christimas music known as “Grinch 2000″ for Mel Magazine with special guests Blockhead, Christopher Michael Jensen, Auggie 5000 and Nur-D!
Happy Holidays, yo.

Back in February before so much went pear-shaped for all of us I had some lists made of Jeff Goldblum’s available movies in Region 1. Here are some updates: Beyond Suspicion (aka Auggie Rose) is out-of-print on DVD, but the one that was released back in the day includes an audio commentary featuring Goldblum. Until this year’s forthcoming Criterion Collection disc of The Grand Budapest Hotel, this was the only audio commentary he ever recorded.
Transylvania 6-5000 just received a Blu-Ray release courtesy of KL Studio Classics.

BDaMan's Show Log: Go 953's Shut Up And Rap (10/25)
*The following events take place on October 25th, 2018.*
1:35am - After what seems to be not only a long day, but stressful day - I'm finally winding down for the night. Only thing left to do - cue up an episode of one of my go-to shows. Options are between King Of The Hill or The Bernie Mac Show. Choices, choices...
1:43am - Bernie Mac it is! And it's a choice I don't regret!
7:27am - Up and at 'em, getting ready for work. Gonna be an interesting day at work, I can feel it. As I think about it a bit, I'm gonna have to be a bit smarter today. My coworker/homie, Jeff is rolling with me and giving me a ride to Modist Brewing, but is working until 5. I normally work 9:30-4, so I'm gonna work 10:30-5 today to still get my usual hours in. That being said, it's time for some cereal and more Bernie Mac Show!
9:47am - Sometimes, I easily miss a bus if I leave just a minute or two too late. That was the case with my normal route. However, today, I managed to catch the freeway bus (the 535 for my Metro Transit friendly peeps) and am now on my way!
11:23am - Time for my usual phone check of the day while at work! One of the texts I get is from my big bro, B.Allen. He asks if I'm ready for today. I tell him the truth, that I'm low key nervous but I think I'm ready.
1:35pm - Jeff has arrived to work and him and I briefly chat about tonight's performance. Again, admittingly I'm nervous for multiple reasons. Our supervisor Melvin asks if I have a show tonight and I let him know that I'm performing tonight for Shut Up And Rap. As I figured by his hilarious facial expression when I asked if he was gonna make it, he won't be able to make it tonight, but he did wish me luck.
1:50pm - A few more co-workers wish me luck as well, as some saw me post about it on Facebook this week.
3:13pm - As I finish up my lunch break, I discovered that the judges for tonight are gonna be DJ Bonics, Mr. Peter Parker and Ander Other. I've been a fan of Peter Parker since the B96 days, so my nervousness just shot the hell up lol.
4:43pm - Off work, now we head to Modist Brewing! But first, we make a couple of pit stops. First back to Jeff's place briefly, then to Walgreens to get quarters.
4:57pm - Time to get a rough run through in. Jeff and his roommate, Ryan are watching a little bit of South Park. Perfect time for me to get into my own headspace.
5:12pm - Probably a quarter way into my typical performance zone. Hopefully the good luck text from my lady helps a bit.
5:42pm - Getting cash back is always so awkward if you need exact change. We're on our way!!
6:01pm - Back road travel all the way to Modist is an interesting journey thus far. One thing on my mind is that I always get in my head about is a lack of support at performances. I love all the support I do get via text/in person/etc., I just get really disappointed by not having the same support at shows as others. That being said, I'm trying to deflect from those thoughts and focus on putting on a dope performance.
6:31pm - Fresh in the parking spot and we've arrived! It's weird being on the other side of the fence in terms of being a performer for Shut Up And Rap vs. a spectator.
6:46pm - Auggie 5000 and $aibot have arrived! Shook up with Auggie and told him thanks for the opportunity. Also got to chat with $aibot briefly. Looks like I might be performing somewhere in the middle or close to last based on what $aibot last saw from votes.
6:55pm - After listening to a classic Ric Flair promo, I'm finally near where I should be. It's on now!
7:14pm - Se7en is up now. With him as the first one up, it sets the tone for the night.
7:20pm - The big bro, B.Allen has arrived! Hearing the feedback from Bonics, Peter Parker and Ander Other has me nervous as fuck.
7:42pm - With B Dot here, along with Jeff, I'm feeling better knowing that I have some support system here to back me up here.
7:49pm - Braylo Waves is up now. He's got a unique vibe to him.
8:04pm - Antonio Fixx is up now. I really dig this guy's energy!
8:20pm - Auggie announces that I'm up next before playing some music before my performance. Time to get some fresh air quick and get my last minute hype in. B Dot comes outside to check in on me quick. As much as he wasn't trying to accept his credit to how far I've come as a solo artist because of him, I thanked him for helping me grow through our S.O.S performances and always striving to be better. I'm hoping my performance will give him a well needed spark.
8:26pm - Another one in the books! Much love to DJ Bonics, Peter Parker and Ander Other for their props and feedback. Their feedback definitely made me feel better about choosing "Infobahn".
8:44pm - $aibot killed it!! Last week's champ, Solo Star is up now. She's icy with the bars!
8:53pm - Yo, I'll gladly take the L tonight. Solo Star absolutely killed it. 2 time champ! Much respect to her!
9:07pm - The night has ended and damn - despite me not winning, I feel real good about my performance. Got to shake up with Auggie and tell him thanks again for the opportunity, as well as get some final words in with Peter Parker and some props and constructive criticism. Shoutout to Jeff for strongly encouraging me to submit for this week. Shoutout to the big bro, B.Allen for coming out and showing some brotherly support. And shoutout to Weather Check (Mono, Ross and Trevor) for showing love. Time to get back into the swing of the music and just create!

So, with 4 days upon us until the launch of the Gradian Charity Event, it’s time I finally give you a full outline of what it entails!
The event will be running for almost the full duration of next week, from February 6th until February 11th, with several fundraisers being hosted at various locations within the village.
It’s going to be somewhat interactive — the fundraisers can mainly be used as plot points, settings to base paras or convos in, headcanons that can be made from them, etc. I’ll most likely post some kind of starter on Tobias next week that will centre around the event to create some kind of talking point for it.
If you’ve planned a fundraiser for your character to host, make sure you’re read up on the details so you can write your character in the appropriate settings!
Under the cut you will find info for all of the fundraisers — who they’re hosted by, the dates they’re running, a description, etc. More fundraisers can still be added between now and Sunday evening, so if any of you would like to plot your character(s) running a fundraiser, all you need to do is fill out THIS FORM and submit it to the main!
