“You’re covered in fur,” Corin said, padding across the room and coming to a halt in front of Audric. “You’ll need to change before your meeting. I can help with that.”

Audric smiles down at his husband. He reaches out, gliding his hand over Corin’s shoulder before grasping his bicep. Corin gasps as Audric presses down on the spiraling bruise he knows runs the length of his arm. The one no one other than the two of them knows is there.

“As tempting as the idea is, I think it would be best to leave the role of Sandry prince who shows up late to meeting because he was having sex to Julien.”

Corin laughs. “Bellamy was late to the last meeting I was in with him.”

“Rakos has been a terrible influence on him,” Audric says.

He squeezes his hand again. Corin moans this time, eyes darkening. It’s tempting to stay in with him. To lock themselves away from the world. He won’t neglect his duty, though.

“I think we should dine alone this evening,” he says. “I can ensure there are no interruptions.”

Corin leans up to kiss him. “I’d like that.”

Derek breaks eye contact in favor of sticking his nose behind Stiles’ ear and taking in a huge breath. Stiles isn’t really sure why that’s doing it for him, but it made his dick twitch. The only possible course of action is to press it against Derek. The fact that his head falls back is entirely involuntary, but the way Derek growls into his neck says that that is doing it for him.

“Imrik never gives anyone else power without a reason,” Vana says, trying to ignore how Daromir’s hands on him always make him feel.

“The question is, what are the reasons,” Daromir agrees. “We’re sure it was granting you power and not a curse?”

“If it is a curse, we won’t know for a long time,” Vana says. “Even if it was a weakness we shared, he wouldn’t display it without a clear plan to make sure it impacted me and not him.”

Daromir nods. “I suppose we need to begin researching werewolves.”

“While trying to avoid giving anything away,” Vana agrees with a sigh. “Easier said than done in this court.”

“I can’t imagine it would be easy as the prince of any court,” Daromir says thoughtfully.

“I bet Audric Sandry wouldn’t have to come up with an excuse to research werewolves,” Vana retorts. “He could probably just say he’s interested and no one would question it.”

Daro tilts his head back and forth, as if he's reluctant to agree but can't think of a counter-argument.
