i decided to do 30k this april and i am about seven hundred words from that, and I am celebrating by writing stupid indulgent shit to get me over the finish line here we go.

Whatever else you could say about the Thorntons, they knew how to make an entrance. Laurentina Thornton was tall like her father; though she had her mother's brown hair and ruddy complexion they had styled her as darkly as her ghostly father in deep green. Her earrings had gems that resembled pomegranate seeds threaded on gold chains that dangled nearly to her shoulders and draped across her collarbone, and her tousle of hair was cropped and styled in a way that sharpened the lines of her face. With her maquillage it made her striking, keen as glass. Cordelia thinks of Hyacinth Chevalier, always styled in delicate silks and organza, silver-filigree scabbard hiding a true steel blade, and wonders which had dressed in contrast to the other.

J Balvin to Make Film Debut Alongside Stephen Amell, Sean Astin in Drug Drama ‘Little Lorraine' (EXCLUSIVE)

Canada's Wango Films has completed filming on their upcoming feature "Little Lorraine," which marks the big-screen debut of bestselling Latin artist J Balvin, known as the "Prince of Reggaeton."

The production, shot in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Ontario, also stars Stephen Amell ("Arrow," "Code 8") and Sean Astin ("Lord of the Rings," "Stranger Things.")

Directed by Grammy nominee Andy Hines, the film is based on true events from the late 1980s, depicting a remote mining and fishing town's transformation into a hub for a major cocaine smuggling operation. The cast also includes Stephen McHattie, Auden Thornton, Matt Walsh, Rhys Darby, Josh Close, Steve Lund and Sugar Lyn Beard.

Amell portrays an out-of-work coal miner who takes a job on a lobster boat involved in drug smuggling. Balvin plays an Interpol agent investigating a Colombian drug importation ring suspected of entering America through Cape Breton.

Variety broke the news that Black Mirror Season 7 is planned to enter production later on this year. Series creator Charlie Brooker will likely be returning to executive produce alongside Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhodes.

‘Black Mirror’ Is Finally Back With a Trailer for Season 6

Prepare to be both charmed and disturbed once more. Netflix has officially announced the return of Charlie Brooker's speculative dystopian anthology series Black Mirror—and it's coming sooner than you think. The final season of Black Mirror premiered in 2019, more than four years ago, and a lot has changed in the tech scene since then. We can only speculate on what Brooker has in store for us this time around. We don't have to think too hard, though, because Netflix has also published a teaser trailer.

When can you watch Black Mirror season 6?

Though no official date has been announced, Black Mirror season 6 will launch on Netflix in June. The next season appears to have a total of five episodes (a break from past seasons, which had either three or six episodes apiece, but this has not been formally confirmed) that will all likely be released on the same day.
