Summary: bonten can't contain their curiosity and invites reader to dinner, Mikey finds he likes his new Omega pack mate
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Who knew Ran would take such a liking to his brother in law, doting on him and claiming him as the new baby sibling "sorry Rinny~ you got replaced!" Why? Why was (name) so beloved by the eldest?
Well the adorable Omega not only let him sleep in peace but also made him nice and cozy with blankets and even got him ear plugs "he's clearly exhausted, so I set him up a nice comfy napping spot in the guest room" (name) explained while working on his project, focused on getting a good grade "how was work?" (Name) Asked while letting Rindō pull him into a kiss, whining slightly before being freed "we got a good payout and we're going to dinner tomorrow night"
"Oh that sounds fun!"
"And I have the perfect outfit for you"
(Name) Looked confused while Rindō watched him connect the dots "I get to meet your friends?"
Friends was a strong word but Rindō wasn't going to correct his mate who seemed absolutely giddy at the concept "there's rules though" Rindō said seriously and kissed the Omega gently " you never leave Ran and my sides, you only talk this the people I introduce you to and whatever you do, don't piss off Mikey" (name) nodded quietly, taking in the rules his mate set for him "now show me what you're doin'" Rindō pulled (name) close, looking to see the work he did "my omegas smart..."
"It's been my dream to pursue this since I was a kid..." (Name) Mumbled, getting comfortable while he continued work "gonna need space for that stuff..." Rindō teased (name) who hummed before a heat settled in his lower abdomen and his hips twitched "already?" Rindō had a shit eating grin before pulling (name) into a kiss and pushing him down onto the couch and began kissing (name)s neck.
Four sessions the night before and 3 more before the dinner (name) was dressed in an expensive suit though Rindō would have loved to see him in a dress, mumbling something about easy acesss but (name) paid him no mind, just happy to meet his mates friends and have delicious food. (Name) Held onto Rindō while they walked into the expensive restaurant, full of glitz and lights and (name) felt incredibly out of place, before this he was just a broke university student half blooded Omega and now he was linking arms with one of the most notorious people apparently!
Keep calm, keep cool...
You're meeting your mates friends! You got this!
"There's my little in law!" Ran said happily and immediately squished (name)s face "ran we saw each other yesterday" (name)s voice was muffled slightly but the eldest Haitani just sighed dramatically "and what a long twenty four hours it's been!"
"Is this the unicorn?" A voice called out and (name) looked to see a white haired man with the bonten insignia tattooed to the side of his head "ah, Koko! Come meet my little in law!"
(Name) Looked to Rindō for assurance and the Alpha rubbed his hip, Koko holding a glass of wine "ah... You really picked a looker Rindō" Koko looked (name) up and down "hello! It's a pleasure to meet you!" (Name) Said happily, a large smile on his face and sunshine practically radiating off him causing Koko to pause for a moment, so accustomed to the succubi in their world. If it wasn't for Rindōs own scent on the little omega, Koko would have assumed human or even an angel "the pleasure is mine, little one" Koko kissed his hand and (name) just stared at the action unsure what to do but Rindōs eyes sharpened at the other alphas teasing and pulled (name) closer.
Walking into the private room, (name) was startled when everyone had horns and tails out, they were all demons? "You can transform as well, the restaurant is owned by us" Rindō whispered encouragingly to his mate, (name) biting his lip before tentatively revealing his tail and horns, a bit smaller than the average demon but it's to be expected from a half blood.
(Name) Felt a bit overwhelmed in a room full of alphas but the large blond one with a goatee offered him slight reassurance with a soft smile "Mikey and sanzu will be here soon" kakucho said calmly, sipping his drink.
Rindō watched as (name) made small talk, polite and sweet as he always was while giving kakucho and takeomi his undivided attention through a conversation and the demons weren't used to having conversations with a succubus that didn't involve one riding them... Though (name) had been riding Rindō only hours prior. "So what side of your family is human?" Koko loved finding information on people, especially sweeties like (name) who were all too willing to spill everything "my sires side!" He said easily "and your dam was a succubus?"
(Name) Nodded, sipping his drink when the doors opened and (name) locked eyes with pure obsidian eyes, before him was another Omega who seemed exhausted "there you are, boss" Ran teased but Mikey just stared at the other Omega in his space curiously, (name) equally locked on before giving a soft chirp to Mikey's satisfaction.
The alphas had no clue what was transpiring between the two, they didn't really understand omegas that well but Rindō decided not to ask at this point.
"So, what do you do (name)?" Takeomi asked while taking a puff of his cigarette and all eyes were on (name) who grinned "I'm in my third year of university!" He was radiating kindness and an innocence that shouldn't be possible in a demon let alone a succubus "I'm currently learning (study)! I feel like it would help a lot of people and maybe some animals"
How.
How did Rindō find this adorable creature!
Sanzu didn't care for people who were too nice, they were always hiding something and (name) was no exception to his suspicions but he held back, wanting to figure out the omegas angle. "How'd you two meet?" And now it was Rindōs turn to be suspicious of Sanzu, eyes sharpening at his question "ah... That's a bit... Uh" (name) grew flustered "he wouldn't properly feed from humans and went to steal energy though a kiss and here we are" Rindō explained quick and simple, hand on (name)s thigh while the food came in, (name)s eyes lighting up at the delicious foods and Mikey tilted his head at the other.
Mikey never showed his omega side, in his life that was dangerous but couldn't help but be curious to the newest Omega in his little pack, the little one immediately deferring to him in a subconscious level.
And anyone in the pack belonged to Mikey, it was just a fact.
"Come here" Mikey said simply and (name) tilted his head with a mouth full of food and stood, completely oblivious to Sanzus grin as thoughts flooded the pink haired man's head of what will happen to the Omega.
Standing before Mikey, the white haired man simply pinched the omegas cheeks with one hand and turned his head 'brothel? Sex trade?' sanzu was giddy "he gets to live with you but he's mine" Mikey said simply, (name) reminded him of someone special...
Rindō slow blinked but they knew what those words meant, it meant (name) was in Mikey's pack, the boss was still very hesitant with the Omega and would shoot him if he tried anything but (name) was very clearly harmless.
(Name) Made a confused sound but decided that this was just how Mikey made friends, heck yeah friendship.
The dinner continued on and (name) found the company of kakucho and Koko quite pleasant while he ate delicious food.
(Name) Was slumped over into Rindōs lap on the drive home, fast asleep white his tail swished subconsciously while the Alpha played with his (hair/nape) before looking at the omegas neck and frowned.
He needed a collar.
Rindō would have to work on that.

How to Summon Demon
Pairing: S.Coups x reader
Genre: Supernatural AU, humor, angst
Summary: your friends and you playfully played game to call the Hot Demon in high school. What if he actually summoned?
"Nothing's happened to Jinah, right?" Sonhee asked anxiously once they were done spelling. Jinah, sitting in the middle of the other three girls, sighed with relief. Despite her brave front in offering herself as the bride of the demon, deep inside, she was a bit scared.
"Why do we even play this game?" Hana scoffed, pushing herself onto the bed and lying down, looking at you, Sonhee, and Jinah with a mixture of exasperation and amusement.
You shrugged and followed Hana, mumbling, "Just wanted to make Sonhee happy." Sonhee threw a playful protest, her face lighting up in mock offense.
"Hey, I just said it would be fun. Wasn't it fun?" Sonhee turned to everyone, seeking validation. Jinah nodded slightly, still feeling the remnants of her fear, while you and Hana exchanged glances before shrugging noncommittally.
"It's almost midnight; let's sleep. We have school tomorrow," you reminded them.
Sitting in the café years later, you watched with pride how your friends had grown. Sonhee, now with her little girl in a stroller, Jinah with a baby on the way, and Hana recently married to a Singaporean man she met on a business trip. Each of them had blossomed in their own way, their lives a testament to the passage of time and the enduring strength of your bond.
The four of you laughed, the tension dissipating as you reminisced about old times. Living together in the same dorm room 15 years ago had forged an unexpectedly intimate relationship among you all. You remembered the countless nights spent talking until dawn, the shared secrets, and the unspoken bond that had formed over time. The room had witnessed your collective fears and triumphs, your tears and laughter.
You felt a warm sense of pride and nostalgia as you observed how much the four of you had grown over the past 15 years. Meeting at 15, you were now on the brink of your 30s, each of you carving out your own path in life. The years had flown by, but the connection remained strong, a comforting constant amidst the changes.
"Can you believe it's been 15 years?" you mused aloud, smiling at the thought.
Sonhee laughed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Time flies when you're having fun, right?"
Jinah nodded, gently rubbing her baby bump. "And when you're with the right people."
Hana raised her glass of iced coffee, a twinkle in her eye. "To us, and to many more years of friendship."
As you all clinked glasses, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the journey you had shared, and excited for the many memories yet to be made.
As you all clinked glasses, your phone rang, breaking the moment. Glancing at the screen, you saw it was your manager calling. You answered quickly, noting the urgency in their voice.
Jinah grinned playfully. "Look at you, Mr. Rising Star. Who would've thought our quiet and calm 15-year-old would become a famous actor?"
Everyone chuckled, and you shrugged with a modest smile. "Yeah, who would've thought?"
Your manager's voice interrupted again, reminding you of your upcoming salon appointment. "Sorry, guys, I have to go. My manager is waiting for me," you said, standing up.
"Always busy," Hana teased, but her eyes were warm with understanding.
Sonhee added, "Thanks for making time for us, even with your hectic schedule."
You nodded, feeling a pang of regret for leaving so soon. "I'll see you all soon, I promise." With a wave of goodbye, you stepped out of the café, the cool breeze a contrast to the warmth you felt inside from the reunion.
As you approached the car, you saw your manager waiting impatiently. "Sorry for the wait," you said, sliding into the passenger seat.
"No problem. We have to keep moving if we want to stay on schedule," your manager replied, already pulling out into the street.
As the car sped through the bustling city streets, you felt a sudden, jarring jolt. The car veered wildly, and you heard the heart-stopping sound of screeching tires. The world seemed to move in slow motion as another vehicle collided with yours, the impact sending a shockwave through your body. The sound of shattering glass filled your ears, and the force of the crash threw you violently against the seatbelt. The world around you faded into an ominous silence as everything went black.
You got into a car accident.
*
In the darkness, you found yourself in a strange liminal space, caught between life and death. A surreal atmosphere enveloped you, a mix of chilling stillness and an ethereal glow. Memories of your friends, your career, and your life flashed before your eyes, mingling with an eerie quiet. Time felt distorted, stretching out endlessly, as if you were floating in a void.
Suddenly, you felt a pull, an irresistible force drawing you back to consciousness. You opened your eyes to find yourself in an unfamiliar, opulent room. The high ceilings were adorned with intricate designs, and ancient tapestries lined the walls, depicting scenes of otherworldly realms. The air was thick with an intoxicating scent, both alluring and unsettling.
Before you stood a man of striking appearance. His features were almost otherworldly—sharp, chiseled, and undeniably handsome. Yet, there was something intimidating about him, an aura of power that made your heart race with unease.
"Welcome," he said, his voice smooth and commanding. "You've crossed a threshold few ever do."
You struggled to sit up, confusion and fear mingling in your mind. "Where am I? Who are you?" you managed to ask.
The man took a step closer, his intense gaze never leaving yours. "You are in a place between worlds," he replied enigmatically. "As for me, you may call me S.Coups."
You jolted awake, your last memory of the car accident with your manager flashing vividly before you. "Am I... dead? Are you Death?" you asked hesitantly, the urge of panic clear in your eyes as the man named S.Coups stared at you.
He smiled and walked over to a nearby sofa. You realized that you were lying on a bed in what appeared to be a luxurious bedroom. The sheer comfort and opulence of the room sent waves of confusion through you. If you were dead, how could you be in such a paradise-like place? Had you lived your life so righteously that you deserved a place like this? And who exactly was this S.Coups?
"I saved you," S.Coups said, breaking the silence.
You watched him breathlessly. "From the accident?" you asked, and he nodded.
You sighed in relief, thinking you weren't dead yet. But your relief was short-lived as he continued. "Yet," he added, as if he could read your thoughts. "Your body is likely in the hospital now, undergoing surgeries and treatments. What you are right now is your soul, caught in between."
His words echoed in your mind: a place between worlds. The gravity of the situation began to dawn on you.
"I'm a demon. I've been waiting for you for 15 years."
You watched his face intently, then suddenly burst into laughter. Your head turned around to find the hidden cameras as you said, "Is this a prank? Was the accident earlier part of the setup?" You smiled, still half-believing it was a joke.
"If it is, you better stop. It's not funny anymore, and I'm going to sue everyone involved," you continued, standing from the bed and walking toward him.
S.Coups smiled and laughed softly at your boldness. He stood in front of you, his tall figure towering over you as he approached closer. Your breath hitched, intimidated by his presence.
"I'm the demon you summoned 15 years ago, and I saved you from death because you're my wife," he stated calmly.
You laughed again, shaking your head. "Stop it. How do you guys know about the little game I played with my friends? Did they tell you?"
Suddenly, you felt your body plummet, as if falling from a great height. Your legs weakened, and your head spun. The room around you distorted, everything warping and blurring except for S.Coups and his intense gaze. Your body fell toward him, and he caught you, his hold steady and strong. In an instant, you were back in the bedroom, gasping for breath.
You pushed away from him, your heart pounding as the realization hit. This wasn't a prank. It wasn't a real bedroom. It was indeed a place between worlds.
"Do you believe it now?" S.Coups asked, his voice steady and unyielding.
You stared at him, the truth settling heavily in your mind. The memories of your friends, the innocent game, and the promise you had made all those years ago now seemed to carry a weight you hadn't understood at the time. The opulent room, his enigmatic presence, and the surreal experience all pointed to one undeniable fact: this was real.
"What do you want from me?"
*
Seungcheol, once trapped in an eternal detention, was finally released. The 700-year-long punishment had ended, but he couldn't return to his world. Instead, he found himself once again in the place between worlds, now known as the demon S.Coups.
S.Coups' role was to punish evil in the human world, a decree from God for Seungcheol's past transgressions when he was a human. "You will harvest what you planted," was the divine edict, and Seungcheol, now as S.Coups, had to enforce it.
He thought his penance was complete, but God had another plan. A future wife. When Seungcheol learned that his future wife would be a human soul, just like him, he felt a wave of relief. But days turned into years, and no one was given to him. The endless wait began to weigh heavily on his spirit.
Until one night, a group of teenage girls summoned him. Among them was the girl who offered herself as his bride, but another girl caught his eye.
Y/n.
His eyes widened in recognition. After a thousand years, he could finally see you again. "You can have her now," he heard the voice of God, instructing him to claim his bride.
"What will happen to her?" Seungcheol asked, his voice trembling.
"She will die. Her soul will be bonded to you," came the solemn reply.
Seungcheol's gaze shifted to the girl who had captivated him. "How about her?" he asked, pointing to you.
There was a pregnant pause before he heard another voice, filled with a knowing sadness. "So you still remember her?"
Seungcheol closed his eyes, the weight of centuries pressing down on him. "Is this part of the never-ending punishment? That you won't let us be together?"
As you stood there, grappling with the enormity of the situation, you couldn't help but feel a strange mix of fear and curiosity. The life you had known felt distant and fragile, replaced by a reality that defied all logic and expectation.
"What do you want from me?" Seungcheol heard you ask, your voice tinged with a mix of desperation and anger. "Why me? Jinah was the one who sacrificed!" you shouted, and Seungcheol took a step back unconsciously, taken aback by your sudden rage.
He watched as you shook your head, your hands running through your hair in frustration. "What about my family? What are they going to do without me?"
Seungcheol closed his eyes, a flash of your family—your mother and siblings—discussing your inheritance while you still lay on the operating table, clenching his heart. Even after years, you were still a people's person, and yet you were still betrayed by those you loved.
Seungcheol took a deep breath and gently took your hand, touching you for the first time in a thousand years. He was glad you didn't fight his touch. "I chose you. That's why you're here," Seungcheol said softly.
Your eyes softened as tears welled up, ready to stream down your cheeks. He watched as you sighed and then sobbed, your emotions overwhelming you.
"Why did you choose me? Tell me the reason!" you demanded, your voice cracking with emotion.
There was a pregnant pause before Seungcheol looked you deeply in the eyes and asked, "Do you really want to know the answer?"
*
"Yes, this is part of your punishment. I planted her into your heart, but you decided to kill her in your past life. Fate has turned its back on you," the divine voice intoned.
Seungcheol cried out in regret, "Forgive me! It was an impulsive move driven by emotion. I love her, I really love her."
"That's your consequence," the voice replied sternly.
"What must I do to have her as my wife again? I'll do anything, I'll take any burden," Seungcheol pleaded desperately.
"Are you sure?" the voice asked, its tone grave.
Seungcheol nodded, desperation evident in his eyes. "Yes, I'm sure."
The voice continued, "She will die in 15 years in a car accident. You will have a chance to claim her soul at that moment. However, once you save her, her soul will awaken without any memory of you. She will hate you and treat you the opposite of how she used to. Your powers will fade. And lastly, you will be haunted by the memory of how you killed her until she finally comes to love you again."
As Seungcheol stood there, tears streaming down his face, the weight of the punishment and the path ahead seemed almost unbearable. But his love for you was unwavering, and he knew he would endure any hardship to be with you again.
Seungcheol jolted awake, his heart pounding. He stared at his palms and breathed a sigh of relief when he found no blood. The haunting had started, and he wasn't sure how long he could survive seeing himself kill you over and over again.
He covered his face, and sobs escaped his mouth. He couldn't control his emotions as his powers faded once he claimed your soul. This was the worst punishment ever given to him—loving you more and more but also being haunted by the memory of killing you repeatedly.
Seungcheol had been a crown prince, married to you, the daughter of one of his father's ministers. It wasn't an arranged marriage; in fact, he had liked you from the first time he saw you. However, as he became increasingly distracted by military duties, he grew distant from you.
Your father, the minister, was discovered to be one of the emperor's betrayers, plotting to murder the king and his family. The order to eliminate everyone in your father's family became serious, and even you, the prince's wife, were targeted.
"Seungcheol," you whispered, your voice trembling. "Please, tell me this isn't true. Tell me my father’s actions won't tear us apart."
Seungcheol's heart ached at the sight of you, his beloved wife, so vulnerable and frightened. But the bitter taste of betrayal gnawed at him. "I wish I could," he said, his voice cold. "But the betrayal runs deep, and the emperor has decreed that your father's entire family must be punished."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you gripped his hands tighter. "I had no knowledge of his plans. I swear to you, Seungcheol, I am innocent."
He pulled his hands away, stepping back. "How can I trust you? Your father plotted to kill the emperor and his family. How do I know you weren't part of it?"
You looked at him, shocked and hurt. "You really believe I would betray you? I am your wife, Seungcheol. I love you."
His eyes flashed with a mix of anger and sorrow. "Love? How can I be sure? Maybe you were waiting for the right moment to strike, just like your father."
You shook your head, tears streaming down your face. "No, that's not true. I would never harm you."
Seungcheol clenched his fists, struggling with the turmoil inside him. "Your father betrayed the kingdom. The law is clear. Everyone in his family must be punished."
You stood up, desperation in your voice. "We can run, leave the palace, start a new life somewhere far away from all of this."
Seungcheol's face twisted with pain. "Running would only bring more misery. We would be hunted, and our lives would be filled with fear and uncertainty. I cannot bear to see you live like that."
Your eyes locked with his, and for a moment, there was a silence filled with unspoken words. "Then what will you do?" you asked, your voice barely a whisper.
His face contorted with sorrow as he reached out to touch your cheek. "I don't know," he admitted, his voice raw with emotion. "But I cannot let them harm you. I would rather end your life myself than see you suffer at the hands of others."
You stepped back, shock and disbelief written on your face. "You would kill me? How could you say such a thing?"
Tears streamed down his face as he dropped to his knees. "Because I love you," he cried. "I cannot let you suffer. If there is any way to spare you pain, even if it means taking your life, I will do it. But please, know that I do this out of love, not malice."
You shook your head, tears blurring your vision. "How can love lead to this? How can you claim to love me and still be willing to take my life?"
Seungcheol sobbed, his heart breaking. "I don't know, but I cannot bear to see you in pain. Please, forgive me."
You fell to your knees beside him, your tears mingling with his as you held each other. "I love you, Seungcheol," you whispered. "But I cannot forgive this. I cannot understand how love can lead to such a cruel fate."
In that moment, Seungcheol knew that he had lost you, not just physically but emotionally. The bond that had once brought you together was now shattered by the weight of duty and betrayal. He held you close, the two of you wrapped in a final embrace as the night closed in around you.
"I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice choked with sobs. "I'm so sorry."
With a heavy heart and trembling hands, he prepared to do the unthinkable, driven by a whirlwind of emotions—love, betrayal, and regret—praying that one day, in another life, he might find a way to make things right.
As he brought the dagger closer to your chest, your eyes met his, filled with a mixture of sorrow and resignation. "I wish I would never love you," you whispered, your voice barely audible, the last breath escaping your lips.
Seungcheol's heart shattered at your words, the weight of your loss crashing down on him with unbearable force. He held you close as life slipped away from you, his soul forever marked by the tragic end of your love.

Aemond
It turned out that there was a role that terrified him more than being a ruler-regent alongside his wife and it was fatherhood. He was ashamed to admit it, but it was easier for him to understand the needs of the kingdom than his own son.
He was dominated above all by a sense of terror which made him freeze all over, not knowing what to do or how to behave. He first felt it when his niece suggested that he should take their newborn child into his arms.
"I don't know. You better hold him." He muttered, seeing in his mind all the possibilities of what he could do wrong and inadvertently hurt their son. His wife looked at him indulgently.
"Come here. Sit next to me." She said, encouraging him with a nod. He pressed his lips together, tense, and approached her slowly, sitting down beside her on the soft bedding. Viserys yawned loudly, twisting in his mother's arms, calm and content, his belly full of her milk.
He swallowed hard, horrified when she shifted towards him, wanting to hand him the infant in his hands. He immediately put his arms under him, afraid to drop him.
"Put his head here, on the bend of your arm. Just like that, support him with your hand on the other side. There you go." She said warmly, pleased at this sight. His heart stopped in his throat as her hands let go of his small body and his son remained in his embrace.
He was afraid that without his mother's familiar presence his son would begin to cry and become anxious, but he slept peacefully, snuggling into his leather tunic.
He was ashamed to feel the emotion and the burning tears under his eyelids looking at his small face, his tiny hands clenched into fists, thinking how great a burden was on him, though he did not yet know it.
On his son.
He swallowed hard when he felt his wife's hand on his back, her temple pressed against his cheek, looking at the scene.
"Isn't he beautiful?" She asked softly, and he was silent for a moment, feeling that he was struggling to find the right words to answer her.
"It's the most beautiful, innocent being I've ever seen in my life." He muttered and closed his eye in surrender, feeling a hot tear run down his cheek. She heard his heavy, uneven breath and leaned in, wanting to see his face.
"– oh, my love – my sweet, sweet husband –" She whispered tenderly, placing warm, wet, lingering kisses on his cheek. He snuggled his face into her neck, wanting as always to hide from his fear, insecurity and pain in her familiar vanilla-scented flesh.
From that moment on, holding Viserys no longer frightened him so much – what's more, he felt a sense of satisfaction when his son squirmed and squealed at the sight of him, happy, reaching out his small, chubby little hands to him, longing to be in his arms.
His father had never done that, but he had no intention of making his mistakes.
For this reason he took turns reading to him at bedtime with his wife. Sitting on his lap, Viserys gazed with big eyes at the richly illustrated legends of their ancestors, his little legs willowing in excitement every time dragons appeared on the pages of the book.
"Soon your dragon will hatch." He whispered in his ear, pointing his finger at a large vessel hanging over the hearth with a dragon egg inside, Daemon's gift to his grandson.
"You will fly in the skies. You will be king of the Seven Kingdoms. You will be fearless, fair, loved. I will be by your side." He hummed and kissed his plump, pink cheek.
His wife watched them with a smile, relaxing in a warm bath after a long, tiring day full of their duties.
The evenings, nights and mornings were just for them.
For their family.
She finally stood up from the water, throwing only a soft, cream-coloured robe over her body, tying it around her waist, reaching out her hands for their son, who had just fallen asleep in his arms.
"Don't wake him." He mumbled out in pain, purposely not moving from his seat unwilling to interrupt his slumber, handing Viserys to her. She laughed quietly under her breath, walking with their child towards the bed, sitting down on the sheets.
"I won't. Our little boy will eat his meal in his sleep." She hummed, slipping the sleeve of her robe off her shoulder, revealing her sweet, plump breast, all swollen with milk.
He swallowed hard, watching enthralled as his son, still asleep, in a natural reflex clamped his lips around her nipple and began to suckle with a purr of satisfaction.
He was ashamed of how he himself loved tasting her now, how warm and sweet her milk was melting on his tongue, how hard he was getting at the very thought that as soon as she laid their son down in the cradle, he would sink deep between her thighs as he did every night, cuddled into her fragrant body, listening to her sweet moans, only to fill her again with his seed.
The news that his wife was expecting his child again filled them with joy, and the birth of their third son reassured the entire kingdom – Viserys, Aegon and Daeron had secured the line of succession.
However, this time his niece endured the hardships of childbirth worse than before.
"Aemond!" He heard her desperate cry from behind the door of her chamber and, despite his brother's attempts to stop him, he walked inside.
He was horrified to see her blood all around her, her face at once pale and red from tears of exertion, her swollen lips parted in loud, pitiful moans.
"– uncle – the baby won't come out – oh gods, oh gods, oh gods –" She muttered, tilting her head back in a sudden panic attack, her mother began to comfort her quickly, squeezing her hand in her own.
Not knowing what to do with himself, he walked over to her, sitting down next to her on the bed, grasping her hand in his.
"– I'm here – I'm so sorry, my sweetest – I'm so sorry –" He mumbled out in a trembling voice, cradling her in his arms, feeling her go breathless all over, a squeal escaping her lips and a quiver of discomfort as another contraction shook her body.
"– fuck – fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, gods, please! –" She sobbed, and all he could do was cuddle his face into her hair, his heart pouding like a mad in horror.
He wasn't sure he'd experienced anything more terrifying, more heartbreaking in his entire life.
"– just a little more – I can see the head – there it is, push, Princess, push now –" She commanded, and by some effort incomprehensible to him, after several attempts, his niece forced his son out into the world, who wept loudly in Alys Rivers' arms.
"– he has your hair, Princess –" She whispered, and his wife breathed a sigh of relief, wailing loudly from the exhaustion, horror and pain her whole body went through.
Alicent and Rhaenyra promised to look after their children so that their mother would have a few days to recover – Viserys and Aegon were only allowed to see her for a moment, once the bedding had been changed and he had helped her dress in a clean, snow-white nightgown.
"– I envy him – your dark hair is more to my liking –" Aegon muttered, glancing over Alicent's shoulder at the infant she held in her arms.
"– enough – your mother needs to rest –" He said shakily, unable to pull himself together after what had happened, seeing with what difficulty his niece was smiling at their sons, trying to pretend that all was well.
He knew it wasn't.
She burst out crying in his arms as soon as they were alone, panting and whooping with her tears, his hands stroking her back and hair tenderly, trying to soothe her.
"– I'm so sorry – I know, my love – shhh – I'm here –" He whispered, kissing the top of her head again and again. His niece swallowed loudly, trying to catch her breath.
"– forgive me – forgive me for making you watch this –" She muttered helplessly, as if she was ashamed that she had forced him to look at something that was meant only for the eyes of women.
"– no – I would not forgive myself if you had to go through this alone – my sweet, brave wife – now just rest –" He whispered. She breathed a loud sigh of relief and snuggled into him, calming down slowly, exhausted after the hardships of childbirth and the emotions she had experienced.
He carried her in his arms because she couldn't get up or sit up, helped her bathe, change and eat, wanting her to know that her suffering and sacrifice for him and their family was not indifferent to him. Knowing that she needed rest, for days he would fall asleep by her side stroking her head, shoulders and back, letting her sink into the safe embrace of his arms.
However, he couldn't help what he felt as he looked at her, that he desired her and her body, that he wanted to touch her.
That he wanted to make love to her.
At some point, he realised that the desire she aroused in him was different than it had been at first: from a fiery, burning feeling of wanting to taste the forbidden fruit again and again, his needs had changed over the years and he knew that no other woman could satisfy them.
It was not because he did not find other women beautiful or worthy of desire, but because only her body brought him solace, only her hands touched him in a way that made him hot, only her scent sent shivers down his spine, only her bright eyes shone with a wonderful warmth at the sight of him.
Her insides were always ready to receive him, silky, moist and hot, giving him a sense of security, her naked body soft and inviting – his manhood, already without his mind's involvement, reacted with a joyful, excited pulsing and twitching in his breeches at the sight of her, equating her with the pleasure he experienced every time.
He concluded that, just as men became addicted to wine or cards, he became addicted to his wife's closeness.
Therefore, he couldn't explain to his painfully swollen erection why suddenly, despite his wife's constant presence next to him, he couldn't touch her and had to be patient: he craved her constantly and died lying next to her, unable to sleep from the tension.
One night his niece, feeling the way his swollen length was pushing, tucked into his breeches, against her stomach, took pity on him, gripping his fat, warm manhood in her hand. He moaned like a helpless little boy, rolling his hips to the rhythm of her strokes, her fingers giving him an encouraging, assured squeezes at the base making his heart begin to pound like mad.
"– please –" He muttered, his hand sinking into her smooth hair, his lips, puffy with desire, found hers in a hot, wet, sticky kiss full of their teeth and tongues.
His wife knew his manhood well – she teased the head of it, leaking with his desire, with her thumb, making it pulsate all over and tremble in her embrace, her tongue gently licking his, making him fall apart in front of her after a moment, desperate. He groaned with a loud sigh of pleasure, closing his eye in relief when he felt his hot seed spurt out onto her nightgown.
"– fuck –" He gasped, feeling a complete and wonderful emptiness in his head, her small body snuggled into his.
He heard her smile.
"Try to sleep now, husband."
That night, indeed, he slept a stony sleep like a small child.
Over the following months, they both slowly pushed the boundary: his niece again let his fingers sink tentatively into her fleshy, velvety folds, his fingers teased her nipples when, after his tender treatments, she finally reached fulfilment in his arms, moaning his name loudly.
"– put it inside me, uncle – please –" She mumbled helplessly one night, rocking her hips so that again and again her buttocks rubbed against his yearningly swollen manhood.
"– I can't, my sweetest – not yet –" He muttered – her small hand clenched on his arm which embraced her, her warm womanhood all pulsing, leaking with her sticky wetness under his fingers.
"– please – please, husband, I can't take it anymore –" She cried out in despair – he grasped her cheeks in his hand and twisted her face, only then seeing that tears were running from her eyes.
"– are you sure? –" He muttered in a trembling voice, feeling his whole manhood tremble and pulsate with desire, dreaming only of sinking into her warm walls again. His niece nodded her head quickly, making him grin involuntarily.
"– this little cunt misses me so much? –" He murmured affectionately and she nodded again, her pink, puffy lips parted in a sigh as the tips of his two fingers began to stretch her swollen, wet slit.
"– come here –" He murmured and she cried out loudly as he released his swollen erection from his breeches in a sure, aggressive motion, dreaming of feeling her this way again for weeks, immediately directing the head of his cock dripping from his moisture onto her tight, throbbing opening.
The feeling of being deep inside her again was an almost spiritual sensation – they both sighed and groaned as if relieved that they could be one body, one person again.
"– that's it – there you go –" He gasped, rolling his hips, sliding slowly deep into her only to slide out of her almost fully a moment later, again and again opening her swollen entrance on his thick, pulsing erection with the quiet clicks of her wetness.
"– good gods – I didn't fill you for so fucking long – my poor wife left without my seed –" He muttered with difficulty, his eyes closed while he longed to focus only on this, on her warm, soft, moist walls squeezing him greedily where it was so safe, so good, thrusting into her more and more confidently, feeling the familiar tightness in his stones proving that he was surprisingly close to reach his peak.
"– Aemond –" She mumbled, and nothing more than their sighs, moans and cries left their throats until they came together, panting heavily, all soaking wet and hot from the exertion.
His arms embraced her tightly, his lips placed quick, hot kisses on her shoulders as his chest clung to her back, their legs entwined together in disarray.
"– gods, I missed you –"
Viserys
Viserys knew no other married couple who behaved as his parents did in the solitude of their chambers. He had witnessed many times conversations between his mother and his father, the fearless, menacing One-Eyed Prince, rider of the mightiest dragon walking on the world.
He could hear the man he feared and admired at the same time listening silently to his wife's words, her comments on his decisions and their validity.
His mother had never challenged him in public during the meetings of the Small Council, but she did so often when they were already left alone, and his father, to his surprise, did not explode with anger, as was his custom, but listened to her with calmness and respect.
His father allowed himself to be touched only by his wife – only she could take his hand, stroke his cheek, sit on his lap when they thought no one could see.
He had witnessed them embrace, his father's lips pressed against her ear as he stood behind her back, his hands met with hers on her lower abdomen, stroking her skin hidden beneath her night robe, his words meant only for her.
Only once had he seen his father terrified: when his mother, standing by his side in the throne room as they listened to the lords' speeches, suddenly fainted, unaware that she was already carrying his sister in her womb at the time.
He remembered that the day had been exceptionally hot, and his mother had been feeling ill since the morning: in accordance with the agreement, neither she nor her husband could sit on the Iron Throne, so they stood before it during a gathering of the whole court.
His father, usually cool and composed in his actions, rushed towards her to catch her, and then began shouting at the guards to lead the lords out of the room and bring in the maester immediately.
Viserys sat by her bed with his younger brother, Aegon, holding her hand in his, listening in silence to the exchange between his father, the maester and his grandfather.
"The Queen Regent should not strain herself. She is expecting your child, Your Grace."
"So soon?" Mumbled his father, as if surprised – his youngest brother, Daeron, had been born only five months earlier.
"Yes, Your Grace."
"Are you surprised? Don't you know how children are brought into this world?" Daemon hissed.
Viserys and Aegon pressed their lips together, looking in horror at their father, who was staring at their grandfather wide-eyed, breathing heavily, furious.
He had never heard anyone speak to him this way before.
His father looked away as if he felt ashamed, bitter apparently at having contributed to his wife's suffering.
His mother awoke after a few hours, but she was weak and the maester ordered that she should lie in bed for a few days and gain strength.
His father gave up his daily routine to simply sit by her side, sinking into reading great volumes about the history of Essos.
He wanted to make his mother smile and lift her spirits, however, he had no idea how he could do this and was afraid to ask his father.
He decided to seek a woman's advice.
"If your mother was tired and sad, what would you give her?" He asked Alyssa, sitting with her on the grass under one of the trees. His cousin pressed her lips together, swinging her legs, lying on her stomach.
"Field flowers. Or cakes. No, some beautiful letter. Or you could recite her a poem!" She began to quickly throw out ideas, excited, her blue eyes bright and beautiful, her long white eyelashes and hair pinned up in a braid glistening in the sun.
"I'd rather it be that one thing." He muttered, not wanting to make a jester of himself in front of his father.
"Field flowers." Alyssa decided.
"How will I know which ones are the right ones?" He asked reluctantly, as a man never delving into these, in his mind, girly, tendentious matters.
He breathed a sigh of relief when his cousin suggested they go to the gardens and pick them together.
Already standing outside the door of his parents' chamber, he began to feel doubts about whether what he wanted to do was a good idea.
What if his father will think that he is weak?
That he is behaving like a little girl?
If he looks at him with disapproval and embarrassment?
"My Prince?" He heard a voice behind him and saw a smiling woman, one of his mother's servants, who had apparently brought her warm soup.
He could no longer escape or retreat, so he went inside with her.
His father rose from his seat, his face expressing cold frustration.
"Why did it take so long?" He asked, the woman lowered her head.
"Forgive me, Your Grace."
"What is it?" He turned his words to him, looking at what he held in his hands. He swallowed hard, feeling his cheeks turn red with shame.
"Flowers for my mother. I wanted to make her smile." He muttered. His father blinked, silent for a moment.
"Good. Go to her. But don't torment her for too long. She needs to rest." His father said, and he nodded quickly, feeling the hard pounding of his heart, all hot with terror.
His mother was delighted with his bouquet composed of carnations, daisies, poppies and dandelions, her warm smile and look full of tenderness made him immediately calm down.
"Thank you, sweet boy." She whispered, stroking his cheek with her soft, familiar hand. She wanted to embrace him, but he moved away involuntarily, because he didn't want her to do this in front of his father.
Nine months later, his first little sister, Visenya, was born.
He remembered only a few years of his life during which his mother had not been with child.
He did not understand why, when he already had four siblings – two brothers and two sisters – there was still a need for more to be born.
Aegon, his brother, once told him that it was because of what married couples did at night – the septon explained to him that offspring resulted from a marital, physical union.
When he was sure he was alone in the library, he read in shame a small volume devoted to the begetting of descendants. He felt disgust and discomfort when he read about a man inserting part of his body between the woman's thighs, filling her with his seed.
It sounded foreign and unpleasant, and he wondered more and more whether his mother was actually in pain and needed to experience a bit of rest.
He dared to raise the issue one day during their supper together, which was a great mistake on his part.
"Aren't you tired, Mother?" He asked, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. She and his father looked at him puzzled, his father having just handed her a tray of goose pate.
"What do you mean, my love?" She asked softly, as always looking at him with a tenderness and attention that made him feel safe.
He swallowed hard, looking reproachfully at his father, who was just taking a deep sip of wine, watching him vigilantly, his healthy eye shining uneasily in the firelight.
His father was mysterious, distant, beyond comprehension.
Cold.
Frightening.
"I struggle to recall a time during which you did not carry a child inside you. After all, your inheritance is secured, shouldn't you be able to rest at last?" He asked, bewildering his mother. His father pressed his lips into a thin line, frustrated by his remark, setting his cup down on the table with a loud clink of steel.
"Don't ever address me or your mother this way again. Apologise to her immediately for your inappropriate words." His father said slowly and coolly in a manner from which an unpleasant shiver ran down his spine, his eye wide open.
"Aemond." His mother turned to him, stroking anxiously her slightly rounded abdomen.
His father looked at her and licked his lower lip, silent – he knew that they communicated now, as they were sometimes in the habit of doing, by sight alone, without using words.
"Perhaps it would be appropriate for you to explain to your first-born son why I carry your child inside me again?" She asked with emphasis, her husband's lips curved in displeasure.
His father looked at him with a gaze from which he lowered his head, feeling the rapid pounding of his heart – he heard him lift the cup to his lips and take a deep sip of wine from it.
"There is no need."
Although when he was a little infant he had been in his father's arms as often as he had been in his mother's, the more he matured the more distant his father's figure seemed to become, inaccessible as a stone fortress.
They spent time together during sparring in the courtyard, where he trained him in the wielding of the sword, and while studying the language of Old Valyria, bent over old tomes.
His father was a strict and demanding teacher – although he never humiliated him or mocked him, he could see when his father was frustrated and he suffered deeply because of it.
He knew that there was only a three years left until he would be crowned King of the Seven Kingdoms and felt that he did not deserve it. It seemed to him that his father, looking at him, thought the same thing.
Compared to him, he was weak.
How could he surpass the greatest warrior in the world, able to speak as much about war as history or philosophy, knowing the language of their ancestors, riding the mighty Vhagar?
"Father does not love me." He muttered once, when they were alone in his chamber and his mother was helping him dress before they all set off for the Great Sept. She shook her head, cupping his cheeks in her hands.
"Your father loves you, Viserys. He cares about everything about you, but he can't show it." She said, looking at him in pain.
"He can show it to you, Mother." He replied reproachfully, not understanding why he did not have as much understanding and patience for him as he did for her.
She was silent for a long moment, his gaze fixed on the stone floor beneath his feet.
"I am his wife. We are connected by a different bond, the kind that a man and a woman share." She explained, and he pressed his lips together and shook his head.
"No. He just loves you more than any of us." He replied dryly, pulling himself out of her embrace and walked out of the chamber, fastening the buckles of his tunic himself.
He was now thirteen years old, he was already a man and his mother, no matter how much he loved her, no longer had to help him dress as if he were a small child.
One evening, as he was about to inform his parents of his decision as to the guest list for the celebration of his Name Day, he heard from behind the door of their quarters sounds that disturbed him.
It seemed to him that his mother was moaning in pain.
When he opened them quietly and peeked inside, he saw his father's body from the side, pressing his mother to the bed, his hips rocking inside her in quick, deep thrusts with loud clicks of something wet and sticky, his hand holding her cheeks between his fingers in an iron grip as he looked down at her.
Although he always wore it in their presence, now he didn't have his eye patch on his face.
"– do you like the way he looks at you? – hm? – do you think I don't see him following you with his gaze? – dreaming that it is his child that you are carrying inside you? –" He hissed maliciously, pounding into her aggressively, making his mother squirm beneath him, driving her short nails into his shoulders as if trying to defend herself.
"– n-no – no, uncle –" She mumbled, panting loudly, her breath heavy and ragged, droplets of sweat on her skin.
Why was he hurting her?
Should he scream, come inside, tell him to stop?
"– no? – maybe I should gouge his eyes out? – if he doesn't know he's a fool, that he has no fucking right to desire you –" He growled, pressing his forehead against hers, panting and moaning along with her as the bed began to creak loudly under them with each of his thrusts, his mother tilting her head back and closing her eyes, an expression on her face that he didn't understand.
"– Aemond – Aemond, Aemond, Aemond –" She cried out, pressing her husband's body against hers, crossing her legs over his bare back as if she didn't want to let him go, and after a moment they both made loud, almost animal-like sounds as if relieved, and his father's body fell on top of her without strength.
He swallowed hard, feeling the rapid pounding of his heart as he saw his father's hand brush his mother's cheek, his lips placing tender, lazy, loud kisses on her face as if she were a small child, whispering something to her.
His healthy eye opened suddenly, his pupil narrowed in shock when he saw him standing in the threshold of their chamber.
He ran away quickly, terrified, thinking his father would kill him with his own hands.
He trembled as he ran back into his chamber, sitting down on the bed, feeling that he was quivering with fear.
That his father would surely deprive him of his throne and banish him for what he had done, that he dared to look at their naked bodies like some disgusting sinner.
He shuddered and jumped up in his seat when, a moment later, the door opened and indeed his father stood in it, already wearing a shirt and breeches, his sapphire glowed in the warm firelight.
He curled into himself, prepared for his blow or scream, but his father just stood there looking at him, breathing heavily.
He sighed loudly and closed the door behind him, then walked slowly towards him, surprising him by sitting down next to him. For a moment he sat bent over, leaning on his elbows with his face hidden between his hands.
He finally looked at him and, to his surprise, he did not see rage in his gaze.
"Viserys. These are intimate moments meant only for my and your mother's eyes. What came to your mind to do this?" He said coolly but calmly.
He swallowed hard, red with shame, feeling that he was shaking, trying not to cry like a little girl out of fear.
"I thought… I thought you were hurting my mother. That's what it sounded like. Like she was in pain." He muttered.
His father pressed his lips together and licked his lower lip, then nodded.
"I see. It's good that you care about your mother's safety and want to protect her. However, know that I would never hurt her." He finally replied.
"Then why did she suffer?" He asked further trying to understand what he had actually seen.
His father sighed, picking at the cuticles around his fingernails as he always did when he felt discomfort.
"She didn't suffer. When we are very close, we experience pleasure so strong that it borders on pain."
"Is that why mother is expecting a baby again?" He asked quietly, and his father swallowed hard, tense.
"Yes."
"Is what you are doing... a sin?" He asked in a trembling voice, his father throwing him a quick, surprised look.
"No. Not when it takes place between husband and wife. It's… you cannot be closer to another human being than during this act. Me and your mother want to be as close as possible and we derive pleasure from it."
They both remained in an uncomfortable silence for a moment.
He felt that this was his chance, an opportunity to ask his father about all the things he had been unable to comprehend and had never had the courage to bring up in his presence.
"Why do you call my mother Rhaenys? After all, that is not her real name, is it?" He asked, glancing at him out of the corner of his eye.
His father swallowed hard, staring dully ahead, thoughtful.
"For me, it is."
"Don't you like her real name?" He continued, trying hard to get anything out of him.
"She always said she wanted to be like Rhaenys, the younger sister and also one of Aegon the Conqueror's two wives. She called herself that to frustrate me, because I always said I would rather one day have a woman like Visenya as my betrothed. She used to call herself that in the letters she sent to me."
"Letters? My mother sent you letters?" He asked, surprised, hearing about it for the first time.
His father fell silent for a long moment.
"Yes. More than fifty over eight years. I never wrote her back to any of them."
He blinked, looking at him in disbelief, feeling his heart pounding like mad in his chest.
"Why? Didn't you love her back then?"
There was a kind of sadness, weariness and regret on his father's face that he saw for the first time in his life.
"Quite the opposite."
"Then why? She must have been so sad."
"She was."
He lowered his gaze, thinking with despondency that his father's mind was indeed beyond comprehension.
"When she appeared after eight years in the Red Keep, I asked her if she still wanted to marry me. And she, despite everything, still wanted to. Your mother always showed me more understanding than I deserved." He stated finally.
He nodded at his words.
"How did you know for certain that she would become your wife?" He asked uncertainly, playing with his fingers in a reflex he inherited from him. His father lowered his head, thoughtful.
"Your grandfather the King betrothed us when we were still small children." He replied.
"When you betroth me, will I also be that close to my wife?" He continued, and his father nodded.
"Yes. You will beget your offspring together and prolong your lineage." His father said.
"Will I also feel pleasure from her closeness as you feel it with my mother?" He asked uncertainly. His father pressed his lips together and scratched his chin, tense.
"I don't know."
His answer sent a cold shiver down his spine.
"I want to have a wife like you, Father. I want to love her." He whispered, thinking about Alyssa, about what he felt when he heard her light laughter, when saw her smile full of warmth and sympathy.
She was full of understanding and joy, always eager to listen to him and his, in his mind very adult, problems and musings.
It seemed to him that his father's breath had become louder, but he didn't dare look at him.
"I can't promise you that."
He squeezed his eyes shut at his words, unable to stand it any longer, warm, burning tears running down his face. He felt like a little child, but there was nothing he could do about it, because he was suffering.
"How am I going to be a King without a Queen to worship and love? How will I make you proud if I feel lonely and weak next to her? I want to be able to love someone just like you. I don't want to be alone all my life like I am now."
"You are not alone."
"I am alone. For you, I am only the effect of your pleasure and the relief of the Kingdom. You love only my mother. You see only her. You trust only her. You look only at her."
"That is not true. I watch over you even though you don't realise it. I am trying to make you strong so that the crown, when it is finally placed on your head, will not crush you. You are my first-born son. We have awaited your birth like a miracle." His father said. He shuddered when he felt his hand on his head, and then his strong arm drew him close, letting him cry into his chest.
He stroked his hair and his back the way his mother always did, feeling him place his forehead on the top of his head.
"I love you, but I cannot be weak in front of the court. You will understand me when you become king and father yourself." He said, and he nodded, snuggling into him tighter, his strong arms giving him the feeling that he was safe, that nothing threatened him.
"– my son –" He said in a way from which he felt warmth in his heart, pride and acceptance, the closeness of a man who in his eyes was closer to gods than men.
"I will not fail you, Father."
Rhaenys
Between looking after her first-born son and bearing her husband another child, she had to focus on helping him create the Small Council from scratch. According to her mother's will, they were both to be equal rulers as regents, and her uncle did not give the impression of being humiliated by this fact.
On the contrary, he relied on her advice and opinion more than she expected.
"Daemon cannot become the Hand of The King. He is too unpredictable. We need someone who is calm and composed. Putting your mother or my brother in that position could lead to further divisions, which we don't want. The person who takes over this role should be as neutral as possible." He said, pacing around the room, immersed in his thoughts. She sighed heavily, stroking her slightly rounded belly, inside of which her second son, Aegon, was growing slowly.
He knew he was made for long disputes about the role and amount of taxes, armies, harvests and all the needs of the kingdom, analysing it for hours on end, however diplomacy was not his domain and in this aspect he left a wide berth to her.
"The Queen Who Never Was. She will take neither side. Let her husband remain the Master of Ships. Let Daemon be, as he was in your father's reign, the Master of Laws – a sign of our respect for tradition, a tribute to King Viserys, who betrothed us. Let Borros Baratheon have his place according to your agreement so that he does not undermine our marriage. He is a stern and honourable man, so let him take charge of our treasury and become the Master of Coin. Let my mother and your brother be honorary members of the Small Council, without function, of equal position."
She said, spreading out comfortably in her chair. Her husband hummed under his breath and nodded, as if he recognised that, indeed, what she was saying was logical. He stopped in half a step, looking blankly at her abdomen.
"Pillows." He muttered more to himself than to her, as if he had realised something.
She raised herself up on her elbows and blinked as he took some from their bed and walked over to her, sliding them under her back for her comfort. She smiled involuntarily at his subconscious concern.
"I am grateful to you, husband."
"My mother insists that Criston Cole remain a member of the Kingsguard, but only as her sworn protector. I have decided that Ser Harrold Westerling should be reappointed Lord Commander in his place." He said, running his fingers over her lower abdomen, swollen from his legacy.
She nodded her head at his words.
"Yes. Ser Harrold is a man of honour."
They looked at each other for a moment, somehow surprised at the ease with which they had come to discuss this.
The prospect of building the Kingdom anew and the perspective of argument and tension frightened them, they were, however, closer to each other than ever.
With the birth of her third son, Daeron, the entire Red Keep breathed a sigh of relief, resolving the last remaining tensions between the Black and Green factions.
Her son refused to leave her womb for a long time, tormenting her for hours, but finally, with the help of Alys, who had come from Dragonstone especially to accompany her through this ordeal, her dark-haired son, came into the world.
The entire court rejoiced in the thought that their three sons secured the line of succession.
It seemed to her that the Red Keep was now divided into three parts: in one, the most representative, intended for the King and Queen, she resided with her husband and their three sons; in the second lived Daemon, her mother, their sons and Joffrey; in the third resided Alicent, Aegon, Helaena and their children.
The first meeting between Alicent and Rhaenyra after the pact was established in the Great Sept was full of tears. They locked themselves alone in one of the chambers to speak to each other about everything that had happened over the years.
The fact that Aegon had condemned his grandfather to death meant that both Daemon and Rhaenyra endured the presence of his family with understanding, however they each ate their suppers separately.
They, as part of the conflict to bring peace, also ate alone, accompanied by their little sons.
Viserys was a sweet and curious child – as soon as he began to speak, he immediately began to demand that his favourite books with large, colourful illustrations depicting great dragons and kings be constantly read to him.
Aegon, however, was a stubborn and expressive: he voiced his opinions and displeasure loudly, knowing, however, where the limit of her and his father's patience lay.
Daeron, on the other hand, was a smiling and joyful infant, laughing loudly whenever he saw the faces of his brothers above the cradle tickling his belly with their fingers.
"He makes such funny sounds out of himself. Like a little puppy." Aegon said.
Their life was happy and peaceful, and she felt that she could finally breathe and have a little rest from the hardships of carrying a child.
And then, a few months after that very difficult delivery, she fainted in the throne room, losing control of her body, falling numbly to the ground.
When she awoke, she immediately smelled his familiar scent, his broad hand stroking her head.
She lifted her eyelids and saw that he lay beside her without his eye patch, his hair loose, only his shirt and breeches on his body. He was lying next to her on his side, his other hand holding a book lying on the bed between them, absorbed in his reading.
He shuddered and looked up at her as she touched his chest.
"– Rhaenys –" He whispered, closing the book, placing a warm, lingering kiss on her forehead.
"– how are you feeling? – you fainted –"
"I know. I think it's the weather. It's been so hot today, my head has been spinning since this morning." She whispered, smiling warmly at him, wanting to comfort him with the thought that it was nothing too severe.
The look on his face and the way he swallowed loudly made her feel uneasy.
"That's not what made you feel this way, my love. It's…" He began, but fell silent, pressing his lips together. She realised after a moment what he meant, a shiver of fear and discomfort ran along her spine.
"So soon?" She mumbled, her eyebrows arching in disbelief. Her husband lowered his gaze, heartbroken.
"Yes. Forgive me." He muttered. She clamped her lips together as he covered his face with his hand and drew in air loudly, as if trying not to cry. "I knew you endured it badly this time. I knew it, but I didn't think it would happen so soon."
"I know. I know." She said, pulling his head towards her, allowing him, as he always did when he was scared and tired, to snuggle his face between her breasts and take solace in the embrace of her arms.
She could hear his loud, broken breath, could hear him sniff with his nose, his broad hands clenched on the material of her nightgown at her back, seeking comfort.
"– Rhaenys –"
Although by the next day her sadness and fear had vanished, replaced by joyful anticipation of what their next child would be like, her husband still remained withdrawn and thoughtful, clearly feeling remorseful towards himself.
His openness in her presence resulting from their bond and understanding remained only in the sphere of their marriage: in her husband's eyes, she was a person whose behaviour and needs he understood perfectly, with whom he knew how to speak, around whom putting his thoughts into words came easily.
Having witnessed daily his directness and lightness in conversation at her side, the change that occurred in him was all the more striking when anyone else joined their company: his mother, his brother, some lord or even their own son.
Her uncle was deeply affected by what a heavy burden and responsibility Viserys had to carry on his shoulders. He saw himself in him: quiet and withdrawn, filled, however, with her empathy and sensibility, making him more thoughtful and sensitive to someone else's hurt.
Her husband feared that the crown and what it carried with it would crush him: he did not know how to strengthen him, make him a man without breaking his spirit.
He feared nothing more than that he would become like his father: insensitive, blind to his real needs, to his cries for help that his son could not articulate.
How similar they were didn't help them communicate: her uncle cut his discomfort with harsh, short sentences, while Viserys shut himself away, terrified of his coldness.
"He is afraid of me. I can see it in his eyes." He told her one day, undoing the buckles of his tunic, wanting to lie beside her in their bed. She looked at him with worry, stroking her rounded abdomen and swallowed quietly, lowering her gaze.
Father does not love me.
"I fear that he sees himself in your eyes as a disappointment. He cannot understand the source of your harshness and distance, which I know is due to nothing other than your fatherly concern. Nevertheless, he needs to hear a few warm words from you for once in his life." She said pleadingly, looking at him as he lay down beside her, sighing heavily. He shrugged his shoulders, pulling the eye patch off his head, throwing it carelessly somewhere on the floor, frustrated.
"What should I tell him? That I'm proud of him? That he will always be my son? He shouldn't be king if he's such a fool as not to understand that without my affectionate words." He said dryly, a clear discomfort and pain in his words, his jaw clenched in a rage whose reason she did not understand.
She stared at him dully for a moment, stunned.
"Can you hear yourself, uncle?" She asked at last, and he looked at her with a sharp, warning look that told her to be careful of her next words.
"He craves your appreciation like a thirsty person craves water. But not only that. You are his father, and he does not know you, does not comprehend your person, your behaviour."
"Good. Does he need to understand everything? It's for his own sake."
"In your mind it's easy because you know what drives you. From his perspective, you are a cold, raw stone. He told me today that you don't love him. That you don't love any of your children. That you love only me. You don't even know how much those words hurt me and I know they hurt you too, but gods, he is your firstborn son. Have an honest conversation with him. Do you think he will ever come to you for advice or support when he feels weak? He will be ashamed, he will fear your wrath and he will drown in his own despair." She said in pain, feeling a squeeze in her throat.
Her husband looked at her with clenched lips and she noticed in disbelief that his gaze was exactly the same as hers.
He wanted to cry because of what he had heard.
She pressed her forehead to his cheek, placing her hand on the place beneath where his heart was beating, and he stroked her arm with his fingers, swallowing hard.
"What he said tonight, during supper. When he suggested that you should rest. He hurt me with those words. I felt like my own son was rebuking me. As if I were a bad husband and father." He whispered in shame – she shook her head, placing a warm, moist kiss on his cheek.
She felt him twist his face, sinking his nose into her hair, his hand hugging her waist and drawing her closer to his body in a natural need for closeness.
"He doesn't understand it. He only sees my tiredness during the hot days, the pain in my back, hears my screams when I bring his siblings into the world. He doesn't know what happens when we're here, alone, or the reason for it. Just as we didn't know it when you told me you wished to have seven children, just as there are seven gods."
Her husband accepted her words in his heart, and she hoped that with this, he and their son would finally speak honestly with each other.
Apart from that, there was one more thing that was occupying her mind – his Name Day.
Her husband did not like to celebrate this day because of unpleasant memories from the past and she wanted to change that at last. She knew that he despised pompous, grand feasts and dances, so she had no intention of giving him a surprise that would make him unhappy.
She did, however, want to give him something completely different.
A written and lavishly illustrated book on the history of Aegon the Conqueror and his two wives in one gigantic volume, bound in red dyed leather decorated with gold, made especially at her request.
She wanted to give him something that would delight and move him at the same time, ordering the scribe to put a quote on the first page from the philosopher and poet, Areon, whose book she had borrowed from him that day when she kissed him for the first time.
Turn behind me, companion
see if I am at your side
The darkness frightens me
but you are like a torch
with your light I will not die
In order for the surprise to remain a surprise, the request could not pass directly through her hands, hence she asked one of the guards for help, which, however, proved to be a big mistake on her part.
She thought at first that the man's open and eager approach was due to his friendly, warm nature. He agreed to help her and reported to her what stage the work was at, assuring her that the book would be done on time.
The first worrying signs began to reach her consciousness when she noticed that Ser Brandon was looking at her while he was guarding the chamber during the Small Council meetings in a way that made her uncomfortable.
She feared that he had perceived her proposal in an ambiguous manner thinking that it was merely an excuse to get close to him.
To her horror, his surreptitious, shameless glances were noticed by her husband.
"– are you fucking him? –" Her uncle asked as soon as they crossed the threshold of their chamber, grasping her cheeks in his fingers warningly, his eye wide in rage, making cold sweat run down her spine.
"– n-no – never – I –" She mumbled, feeling that her heart was pounding like mad – she moaned, surprised, as his swollen, wet lips pressed against hers in a hot, aggressive kiss.
"– I'll kill you if you lie –" Her growled into her mouth, his slick, moist tongue forcing its way again and again down her throat with quick, impatient, furious clicks as he made her retreat towards their bed with every step.
"– I swear, husband –" She exhaled wearily and squealed as he pushed her onto the bed, making her fall onto her back. He stared at her as if completely mad, breathing heavily, undoing the buckles of his tunic with aggressive swipes of his hand.
"– undress –" He hissed furiously, throwing the material of his garment to the floor, pulling his shirt off his chest, ripping his eye patch from his face a moment later. She nodded her head quickly, feeling her heart in her throat as he climbed onto the bed, placing his knees on either side of her body.
Whenever he was terrified he spoke in this dramatic way, as if he wanted to show her that her betrayal would be the end of his and her life.
She couldn't help how much it aroused her, his desperation and how much he needed her, his feigned aggression only for her to soothe him, for her body to reassure him that he was wrong.
She tried to untie the bonds of her gown as quickly as she could, however, it was not easy – her husband paid no attention to the delicate knots at her sleeves and literally ripped the fabric off her in a gesture that was more animal than human.
"– uncle –" She whimpered pleadingly as his hot, swollen lips pressed into hers again with his loud groan of pleasure and rage, her hand sliding lower to the material of his breeches, finding his hard, throbbing erection beneath them at last.
"– fuck – spread your thighs wide – that's it –" He breathed out, and she obeyed his command without a word, watching with excitement as the black leather material slid down his legs, leaving him wonderfully naked, just like her.
She cried out loudly, clasping her hands over his bare buttocks and back as he immediately stretched her swollen opening on the fat head of his erection, a low, helpless sigh escaping from their throats.
"– A-Aemond – mghmm –" She cried out, trying hard to fit in what he was forcing her to take, his manhood pulsing all over deep inside her, betraying how close he was to fulfilment, how aroused he was by what had just happened between them.
She, at his mercy.
She began to moan when he immediately imposed a fast, sharp, aggressive pace on her, his hips rolling to the rhythm of her body, thrusting again and again deep between her warm, leaking folds, despite the initial difficulty welcoming him with ease.
They both lost their temper, falling into a complete frenzy, their naked, sticky bodies slamming against each other with loud splats of their shared moisture.
"– do you like the way he looks at you? – hm? – do you think I don't see him following you with his gaze? – dreaming that it is his child that you are carrying inside you? –" He hissed through clenched teeth, gripping her cheeks again with his fingers, the thrusts of his hips teasing again and again the little bud inside her made it difficult for her to gather her thoughts: she was only able to look at his face, his lips parted in lust, his gaze filled with rage and love at the same time.
"– n-no – no, uncle –" She mumbled out with difficulty, her breath heavy as her fingers tightened on his naked, sweaty shoulders, her puffy nipples rubbing against the skin of his chest with his every thrust making the tension in her lower abdomen slowly reach its peak.
"– no? – maybe I should gouge his eyes out? – if he doesn't know he's a fool, that he has no fucking right to desire you –" He growled, pressing his forehead against hers, panting into her mouth, their hips coming up to meet each other in a desperate attempt to achieve fulfilment, her hands clamped down on his buttocks, again and again guiding his soaked, fat erection deep inside her.
"– Aemond – Aemond, Aemond, Aemond –" She cried out, tilting her head back, feeling a sudden wave of hot, tickling pleasure and relief surge through her nipples, through her lips, the tips of her fingers and her little cunt, which began to squeeze him greedily, her legs crossed over his back, refusing to let him pull away.
Her husband let out a low, helpless, almost animalistic groan and reached his peak inside her, filling her silky insides, clenching around his twitching manhood, with his seed. He fell on top of her after a moment without strength, his hand stroking her cheek hot with emotion.
"– it's not your fault – he's been watching you for weeks –" He whispered, placing tender, gentle, moist kisses on her face.
"– I swear to you that he is already… –" He sighed and froze suddenly, his body tensed in her embrace.
"– hm? –" She asked sleepily, struggling to open her eyes, trying to calm herself down after what she had just experienced.
"– fuck – Viserys –" He muttered horrified, pulling out of her quickly and grabbing his breeches, putting them on his legs.
"– what? –" She asked, rising up on her elbows, not understanding what had frightened him so suddenly, only noticing after a moment that the door to their chamber was slightly ajar.
"– has he seen us? Aemond, don't do anything foolish, don't shout at him! –" She called after him in despair as he put on his shirt in a careless, quick motion and left their chamber, closing the door behind him. She pulled her nightgown over herself, stroking her swollen abdomen with her hand, thinking about what to do.
After many minutes that felt like an eternity she became impatient, scared and tired, wondering why it had taken so long, whether she should go there and react.
She jumped up in her seat, feeling her heart in her throat when finally her uncle returned to their chamber, pale, his eye wide open. He cleared his throat, clearly embarrassed.
"We were just having a conversation. Like father and son." He assured her, seeing the look on her face as he headed towards their bed, laying down powerlessly on the sheets.
She immediately moved towards him, laying down beside him, pressing her forehead against his exactly as she had when they were children.
Her husband rubbed the tip of his nose against hers.
"You were right. It helped. He opened up to me and I opened up to him. I feel lighter." He whispered quietly, as if he was telling her his embarrassing little secret.
She smiled involuntarily at his words, placing her hand on his back.
"I'm so happy."
Her uncle hummed at her words, a gleam in his eye that she knew all too well.
"I also paid a short visit to the guard who finds it so pleasant to look at my wife. We discussed this… matter properly." He murmured, tucking an unruly strand of her hair behind her ear, causing a cold, wonderful shiver to pass through her.
"It turns out he's very attached to his two eyes."

I've been having lots of fun designing random OP fusions for a hypothetical AU where people can fuse... Feel free to drop a combo of any two Strawhats in my asks for me to draw a fusion of them (I'm only reading impel down rn so please no spoilers)
More on these:
Mickey (Nami + Franky) - ultimate Big Sibling fusion. She's very balanced in her sense of responsibility, desire to take other under her wing and general "fun but let's keep it sane and safe" vibe. One of favorite fusions of Strawhats as her appearance often means "supervised fun that is otherwise strongly off limits" and they just love her in general. Overall, Mickey's cool, fun and sexy (and not allowed in many public places because she only wears bikini swimsuits). He fights with electrocution.
Didja miss me? Well, now you can look at my pretty face all you want - we're gonna have so-o-o much fun~
U.V. or just Violet (Usopp + Vivi) - the big dreamer one. She is really sweet and emotionally open - probably one of most child-like fusions, but often gets timid and unsure when it's time for her to to stand up for herself. She loves fantasizing and excitedly ranting about all these ideas on how to make world a better place, but goes into very absurd territory without noticing. They fight with a sling and explosives.
No, wait, but listen. But what if The World Government, like, printed money so that everyone can have some, and- No, wait, i don't think this is how economy works. Okay, what if we all just...
Roro (Zoro + Robin) - arguably the most unhinged fusion of them all. With Robin's morbidly creative mind and Zoro's general disinhibition in most generally dangerous situations, Roro is pretty much unstoppable once he set his mind to do something reckless, dangerous and possibly really violent (as they both don't have any qualms about murdering or causing severe bodily harm). However when not in "focused on following through with an insane idea" mode, Roro is actually a rather pleasant company! They're calm, collected and thoughtful, yet shamelessly silly, especially with Luffy and Chopper who they adore. Most of the crew is rather cautious about them (except for Luffy who whines how he misses playing "multiarmed tags" with Roro) because they can cause much trouble without supervision. On the other hand, they're very strong. They fight combining swordfighting with generating extra limbs (which also means an arm slashing you with a sword can sneak on you from any direction).
Oh. I see. How about we send his head- okay, his fingers in a box to his captain as a warning?
Note: Luffy has the privilege of naming all fusions and usually just smashes names together until it sounds like an easy to remember name... Sometimes inner logic of how the name was made is lost even to him

Hello! Could I request a Chuuya x reader story (no AU please) where she is someone important like a princess, and they hire the best executive to protect her when she goes to Yokohama? 🩷🩷
𝒞𝒽𝓊𝓊𝓎𝒶 𝓍 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝑅𝑒𝒶𝒹𝑒𝓇
𝒲𝒶𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓈 - 𝓂𝒶𝒻𝒾𝒶
𝒯𝓎𝓅𝑒 - 𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎
The royal family would do anything to protect their daughter, anything. Including hiring one of the most feared men in all of Yokohama from one of the most dangerous organizations in the world.
The port mafia, with some of the most dangerous executives.
Chuuya Nakahara, that name just yelled power.
Your family was their on business, and most of the guards needed to protect the other members. Only the most trusted, highly trained, powerful people were to be working for the family.
The meeting was set late at night. One of the high floors in the port mafias headquarters. Safe to say, you didn’t exactly expect skyscrapers. But here you were, being accompanied by a woman named Kouyou to meet your new bodyguard.
“You’ll like him, I’m sure of it. He’s a gentleman.”
You looked over, this was the first time she had spoken to you.
Looking to your feet, you didn’t respond.
“I can sense you’re nervous. About meeting him I presume?” She was calm, very easy to talked to.
“I’m afraid to say I’m a bit on edge. Never have I been protected by a stranger.”
The elevator opened, sleek floors of polished marble were to be expected of the meeting floor for a princess.
“Follow me, he should be with our boss in the main office.”
Shoes clicked as the two of you walked. Hers much more confident than yours.
Then, you met with a group of bodyguards in front of some wooden doors. They swung open, revealing a ginger man. He was facing the wide windows overlooking the port city. Adorn in a very expensive looking suit. Very well dressed was he, kinda cute too.
Next to him was a seated man, supposedly the boss. Mori. He noticed you and Kouyou first.
“Well, we have been expecting you.”
Chuuya turned around to see who he was speaking with. He waved politely to Kouyou before taking you in. So simple, yet so classy.
Even if you knew you should’ve said hi to the boss, you focused on your new bodyguard. And he was just as focused on you.
“Chuuya, this is your new assignment.”
He smiled, and tilted his head as a greeting.
“Hey princess.”
Leaving the office, he walked next to you. It was awfully quiet.
“Where are we going?”
“Eh? Oh, just your new place. It’s nice, and right next to mine.”
You looked at him from your peripheral, then back to the floor with speed when he looked at you too.
“Nervous? That’s alright, I’ll protect ya.”
“I’m… not nervous.”
He laughed, well more of a quick one.
“Why is that, princess?”
“You seem very strong…”
You didn’t mean to be so honest. Shit, what if he-
“Thank you. You know, how about we tour the city first? I’m sure it’s your first time in Japan.”
“How can you tell?”
“I have a feeling~”
You felt butterflies in your stomach, was he teasing? Why did this wanted criminal have to be so damn alluring?
“And I have a feeling you’ve never been around a princess with those manners of yours.”
He froze, and quickly stopped smirking. Until you laughed. When he realized you were teasing too, he rolled his eyes playfully.
“You’re feisty. Good thing, I thought this mission would have me walking on egg shells with everything I do.”
Soon, a group of men walked by. They stared at you, obviously not the stares you would want. And hell, was Chuuya pissed.
“The fuck you looking at? Damn underlings, move those eyes before I crush you!”
They quickly looked away, terrified. No wonder he was your bodyguard.
“Say princess, how about that tour?”
He took you through the city. It was beautiful, the port was cool and calming. The ocean smell was like a lullaby.
It was alright, until a group of thugs saw you. An enemy organization.
He grabbed your hand, and hid you in his coat. Gun shots went off, and you thought that was it. You were good at dead.
Until, no bullets hit you.
Screams from the men. You try to look, but he pulls you to his chest.
“No, I’ve got you. No need to look. Stay right here, pretty.”
You hadn’t noticed you started shaking, the guns obviously scaring you.
“Let’s go to where you’re staying. A nice, warm bed.”
Had you started, floating? What in the world?
“Shh, it’s okay. I’ll get you back.”
Soon, the cool air went away. And so did the noise of the city.
He moved your body gently away from his, and your feet met the ground.
“Where are we?”
“My plac- I mean, where you’ll be staying.”
“It’s warm.”
“Let’s get you to bed, princess.”

Hopeless romantic
Part 3 ◇ Part 4
Warnings: cheating (not by reader or osamu), mommy issues and generally parents issues. Reader thinks she is unlovable (she just like me fr.)
Content: osamu x reader, Angst to fluff, hurt/comfort.
A/n: This is the end y'all! I wanted to make it longer but i know myself and i would just leave it unfinished at some point, so i thought this might be a good "ending", but good news! I'll still write some drabbles and snippets about yn and osamu's lives in this AU! like their first times and shit. idk, i'll see. I'm sorry if this disappoints you, I don't care.
Osamu thinks that everything in your house screams of you.
It’s not his first time in your home, but the vibrant hues and light shades remind him of your joyful personality; the white marble floor completes the water green and pink of your walls. Some canvases are hanging in the living room and a knowing smile forms on his lips as he recognizes your touch in a few of them. The colours and the delicate strokes all bear your signature, a reflection of everything that is you.
He wanders his eyes around, noticing details he didn’t notice in the past and taking in everything he can.
“Pasta with yogurt is delicious.”
Osamu looks horrified at your statement. He thought you were perfect in all shapes and forms, never had he ever expected you to come up with such a daring, unacceptable, banned-from-his-restaurant-worthy comment.
“This is it. I’m leaving.” he declares, rising abruptly from the table, as if ready to sever all hia ties with you and your questionable taste in food.
Your laughter fills the room before you grab his arms and your hand grips his shoulder, “I’m just joking!! Please!” you plead.
“No, you are not.”
Resigned, you raise your hands in surrender, “Okay, I’m not. but it’s actually good! You can’t judge anything until you try it!”
He only scoffs and sinks back into his seat, his attention on the Zucchini Lasagna with Zucchini “Ricotta” that you both made together. It was easier than you expected, and despite your protests, Osamu refused your assistance in any way, insisting that you simply observe and learn.
The way his hands work in the kitchen left you in awe, and also a little flustered. Who wouldn’t be after seeing those healthy, strong arms of his being put to work?
The final strike was his calm, soft voice, effortlessly explaining everything you didn’t know without making you feel foolish. His tone was void of any patronization and he remained kind and understanding even when you asked questions that might seem obvious to others in the culinary world.
When the result of your (his) hard work was ready, it was late enough that you asked him to stay and dine with you, not wanting to let go of him yet.
(You never want to let go of him.)
“I don’t need to try it to understand that it will taste awful.”
“Never judge a book by its cover, Miya.” you retort playfully, adopting the guise of a wise sage.
Though he doesn't voice it, Osamu hates being called Miya by you.
“You know what- leave it,” he grumbles. His scrunched-up face from the irritation he felt earlier relaxes when he takes a big bite of his dinner and you can’t stop the grin that makes its way onto your lips. Such a goofball he is.
Both of you finish your plates in silence and silence has never been so comfortable, if not with him.
In the past, you always felt like a fish out of water, you knew you were different but not the “cool and edgy” kind, no, you were just straight-up weird, and you believed that most of your friendships and relationships with others did not work out because of this.
Over time, you worked on yourself, learnt to talk to people in socially acceptable manners, and learnt to keep your mouth shut when you had to; Sometimes, your thoughts still race ahead of your words, leaving you dizzy, but you’ve made progress. You’re doing much better now than your younger self, and that is enough.
Osamu never makes you feel different.
He has always been kind and understanding, even on days when you felt like you didn’t deserve it. Even that day, when you were just a stranger soaked with rain, seeking shelter and comfort in his shop.
It was a cloudy day and you were exhausted from work. Darkness dwelled in the sky when your world shattered again.
It was late evening when your parents called, and of course, it ended up in a fight with no end.
You hated it.
You missed them, every once in a while, but you couldn’t stand being around them.
You always had a tricky relationship with your mother, a paradox where you wished her well while hurting her because she hurt you. You loved her and cared for her while wanting to run away from her and never see her again.
(maybe you only loved the mother you hoped she would be.)
To make matters worse, your boyfriend wasn’t answering his phone. You needed him - needed his hugs and kisses and a silly movie to escape reality.
And when he didn’t reply to yet another call, you decided to go to his house in hopes of finding him, but when you got to the main gate of his building, your heart stopped.
You had your fair share of heartbreaks, but at the age of 24, you weren’t one to play around with idiots who can’t have a stable and serious relationship. Your boyfriend seemed perfect initially, he was everything you thought you couldn’t find and the first two months were like a dream. Then, the reality slapped you hard and you saw the imperfections in your relationship: he never called, never let you see his phone (not like you ever asked, privacy is important to you, but when he takes away his phone even just to go to the bathroom, or when he snatches his phone from you when you use just to make some silly selfies, it makes you feel like he might be exaggerating a tad bit.), and most of all, he didn’t want you to meet his friends yet.
You thought he might be just shy, maybe his friends weren’t your type of people, maybe he had been discussing a surprise for you so that’s why he wouldn’t let you see his phone. You found justification in everything because really, you liked him.
Maybe that’s why when you saw your boyfriend of 8 months making out with the barista “you didn’t need to worry about.”, you felt like hundreds of thousands of needles were ripping your skin apart and just then, as if the clouds could feel your pain, they started to mourn, pouring heavy rain on your head, screaming at the top of their lungs and letting all their suffering pour down as if taking revenge of everything the humans have done to Earth.
At first, you felt numb, a numbness that comes from not believing what you are seeing, then started the loud thumping of your heart, making your bones tremble in despair, and your breathing became unbalanced, stuttering through your mouth; and worst of all, you were in the middle of the streets and the rain was growing faster and louder.
(but nothing was louder than the scream you let out inside your head.)
With heavy and slow steps, you walked away, oblivious to the water dripping down your temples, feeling utterly lost.
You didn’t know where to go. Your house was just a hellhole of everything that would remind you of him. You wanted to run away, and that’s what you did.
You ran until your lungs burned, until your legs ached, and the rain drenched you completely.
You were hungry and thirsty and cold and heartbroken and so fucking lost and-
A light.
A warm, inviting light accompanied by soft hums and melodies gets your attention.
From the tables inside the structure, you suspect it to be a restaurant, or perhaps a fast food, you don’t know. All you knew was that you needed warmth and a seat, so you pushed the doors open.
“Sorry, we are close-” A man looks your way, holding a dirty cloth and detergent. He must have been cleaning.
Your eyes widen, a little panicked, because you had no idea it was so late and when you look down-
oh god, you just walked into a closed restaurant, and you are soaked and you dirtied his floor all over again, he is so going to berate you and kick you out-
“Nevermind. Come in.” his voice sounds gentle, kind even; you wonder why he hasn’t screamed at you yet. You just ruined his floor, didn’t you?
He pulls a chair back and waits for you to sit, you oblige in silence, though a little hesitant, “Wait here, I’ll be back.” is all he says before disappearing from your sight.
While you stare at the texture of the tables and tiles, the events of the day come back rushing to your mind, the fight with your parents, the dead cat you found on the streets and your boyfriend cheating on you. Everything was a mess, and you felt so lonely. There was a tight knot in your chest, a heavy weight of unshed tears, and it became heavier with each passing second.
A plate comes into your view with hot rolled spaghetti seasoned with tomato puree and basil and you can’t stop the grumbling of your stomach at the sight of such delicacy.
Your face heats up as you hear a small laugh from the man standing next to you; you opt to hide your embarrassment by eating everything that was laid in front of you. You take a bite of the hot strands, swirling your fork in all the wrong ways (when have you ever done something right?), and the taste fills your mouth, cascading in your stomach and the tight knot between your lungs comes undone, your eyes get blurry and tears start to flow freely down your cheeks.
Fuck, you really did not want to cry now, but you can’t stop it. You sob and hiccup and keep eating all the same, while the cook stands next to you in silence.
The kindness of a stranger and the cruelty of your beloved crashed down on you like a tsunami and all you could do was eat and cry. Miserable, you thought to yourself.
Later, a hand came down your head, a soft pat accompanied by a low, comforting voice, “It’s going to be okay.” it said, and you believed it.
“Yachi was asking about you, y’know. Tsumoto, too. They said they missed your yapping.”
You gasp, feigning a shocked expression. “Hey! It’s called ‘having a conversation’!”
He snorts, “Sure, if that’s what helps you sleep at night.” Osamu collects the empty plates from the table and helps you clean up the kitchen.
You huff as he dries the dishes you wash, his taunting endless. When you glance at the clock, it’s already around 10 pm, and you wonder if you took too much of his time. Someone like him should never waste his time over someone like you.
“By the way, Aika gifted me two tickets to the opening of the “Fishy and Cheesy Aquarium” near the bridge because she can’t make it.” he says after a while.
You sputter out your drink, laughing at the ridiculous name.
“What the fuck is that name?!” you try not to snort like an ugly pig in front of him (you fail.) He just shrugs. “Also who’s Aika?”.
“Oh? I thought you met her! Remember the girl with long black hair and green eyes who entered my restaurant a few weeks ago? She’s Rintarou’s sister, but since me and ‘Tsumu have known Rin since we were toddlers, she’s like a sister to us, too.” a fond smile takes place on his lips, a smile that he rarely gives to clients, a smile reserved for family.
All the pieces fall into place in your head, and somehow you feel relief and joy and you curse yourself for feeling that way. You shouldn’t be allowed to feel happy now, but you are, and your heart’s already thumping out of your chest when he says his next words:
“So, I was saying, since ‘Tsumu is away for two weeks and Rin just hates crowded places with too many kids, would you like to go there with me?”
And of course, you say yes before your brain can even comprehend what he’s asking of you.
You are quite sure he is just asking you out as friends do, but what can you say? you are a hopeless romantic, after all.
Reblogs are really appreciated!

YES I know he's holding a croquet mallet but it looked cool. the temptation to do a horse riding AU is very strong now.
For those of you who witnessed me go insane when the update dropped - this is my way of calming down. If you need further proof of my insanity just check the comment section - you'll see...

Thinking about Actor Au like how @no-see-um-incorrect did!
Bittersweet:
Interviewer: So tell me about you holding the gun at Derek?
Boo giggling: okay so like that came up bc I was reading the script and the backstory of Al, Seth and Derek.
Alphonse: oh shit yeah!
Boo: I was reading and just blurted out "I would put a bullet in this fuckers head." And everyone was shocked hearing me say that!
Seth: yeah bc you got this face when ya said it hon. Like you were actually gonna do it!
Boo: Yurri ended up liking the idea so that was added!
Star Cross Streamers:
Interviewer: So, when you started to work on Star Cross Streamer what did you think of actually meeting Star who is a big streamer?
Faust: I was actually really nervous meeting them and like acting with them as well. Since I'm an okay streamer and they're like a big shot right?
Star holding their chest: I made you nervous?!?!
Faust giggling: uuhhh yeah??? You were this cool person that was nice to everyone and I was a bitch.
Star: hey! You fixed your attitude anyways your much more enjoyable now!
Faust blinking: Did my attitude annoy you!?!?
Star giggling: no silly! I mean your just a but nicer now!
Escape:
Interviewer: Auron, we heard that when Rook first met you they flirted right away at you?
*Rook hiding their face and nodding*
Auron: Ha! They did Yuuri wanted dme to meet them and I walked in. A wolf whistle was heard and they shot me a "Hey handsome how you doing?~"
Rook blushing and looking away: God I was like shocked seeing a hot dude and decided to flirt to calm myself.
Auron: don't worry it was flattering and nice. Also Yuuri got a laugh out of it.
Rook: he did he was trying to breath as I was blushing and not looking at you as I apologized for coming off so strong.
Demon Boyfriend:
Interviewer: So Lucien how do you feel about having to take three hours to get ready for your shooting?
Angel whispering: oh here we go
Lucien: Its so annoying!! And it gets itchy when I'm in it for too long!! Which suchs bc i mess up my lines with the voice changer.
Angel: there are MANY bloopers with Lucien.
Lucien pouting: Also it's hard to eat and cook in my set up.
Interviewer: Oh? You cook on set actually?
Lucien smiling: I'm a culinary student right now! Yuuri liked the idea of me actually cooking with the series so he let me!
Angel: I'm the taste tester when he makes something on set. Also once we tried doing brownies for a episode but Yuuri scrapped it bc it didnt seem right I think?
Lucien: But when a episode gets scrapped and there was food everyone gets some goodies bc of it.
Angel: yeah hes basically the mom of the group bc of it. He always asks if someone's hungry and starts cooking if someone complains about being even a pit peckish.
Lost & Found
Interviewer: So you two were actually childhood friends?
Charlie nodding: yeah we are!
Casper laying on him slightly: yeah I knew this loser since like middle school.
Charlie rolling his eyes: like you weren't a loser too!!
Interviewer: did some of the childhood friendship got added to the story?
Casper chuckling: yeah Yuuri was surprised when he found out we WERE childhood friends turned lovers and he loved how it feels real.
Charlie: but it also makes it hard being serious sometimes.
Casper: theres lots of bloopers where its Charlie messing up and I'm dogging on him for messing up. Then it turns into a big bicker thing and Yuuri has to scold us.
Charlie: yeah we get scolded the most out of everyone after Lucien. Its bc he eats too much on set.

Balance - Ch. 2 -JJK AU-
Toji’s eyes widened for a bit and he looked me over as if I had sprout two heads.
“What? The fuck you mean, no?” he asked. I sat up more, resting my arms on my legs.
“You did something for me, and I am doing something for you. If you return the favor, then it’ll mess up the balance. I don’t need repayment.” I explained. Toji just stood there, eyes drenched with confusion, cock twitching some as it pointed at me.
“What you into girls or something?” he asked almost hurt. I shook my head silently. “So, you like men then?”
I shrugged.
“When I’m bored enough and in the mood for meager penetration.” I said with a chuckle. Now he placed his hands on his hips, his face oozing determination.
“Well, I ain’t leaving until I’ve returned the favor.” he said almost with a pout. I took note of his muscular build, his strong and toned thighs and hands that could manhandle and take life. But when Toji offered himself mere minutes ago, I could see it in his eyes that he didn’t truly want me. I have no use for an unwilling lover. I never wanted to be around anyone who didn’t want me in any fashion where it be friends, family or sex.
“Toji, have you done this before, offered yourself to women?” I asked. He grunted.
“Loads of times!” he said. I placed my knuckles to my fingers in reflection as I looked away pondering on this situation. I wondered if this is part of the odd jobs he’s taken. I wasn’t entirely sure he wouldn’t ever try to force himself on me. But he’s already in the home so no point worrying about that now. No. If he tries to return the favor then everything will be off balance, and I’d then have to return the favor he’s offering. I shook my head and looked at him.
“You really want to return the favor?” I asked. Toji nodded firmly eyes already trying to look me over, drink in the form of my chest, my nipples clearly poking through the thin fabric of my gown. “Okay. Get in the bed. Put your clothes on first, get in the bed, then go. To. Sleep.”
Once more he looked thrown off and I just lied back in bed, letting my head rest against the cool surface of my silk pillowcase that kept my curls moisturized and didn’t absorb my hair oils or dry out my hair.
“Or don’t. I don’t really care; I just want to sleep.” I said lazily, keeping my eyes closed and listening for noise.
I expected the door to open and close and that we’d never speak of it again. However, I felt the bed dip, and movement behind me as I felt a warm body behind me.
“Why would you be so open to a stranger in your bed… you don’t know if I’m dangerous or not. You don’t know anything about me.” he said lowly in my ear. I was quiet for a moment.
“If you decide to hurt me then the balance will be off, you’d be met with your karma which will be any kind of retribution against you for hurting me. Then the universe would be balanced again. If you rob me, I can replace what’s taken from me, if you hit me, my wounds will heal. All those things would only entice a quick karma. Something will happen to you. But if you kill me then your karma will be everlasting, and it will hurt not just you but others as well. That’s how universal balance is at least to me.” I replied quietly cuddling into my large pillow.
There was a scoff in reply, and I didn’t expect him to up and believe my words. However, large arms slither around me, and I am alert, but still physically calm as I feel a heavy chest against my back.
“I don’t know about the shit you’re saying, but your voice is so calm and soothing. Hope it’s okay I hold you like this while still naked.” he said lowly, his warm breath tickling my ear. Too late now.
“If you must and it gets you to sleep.” I said resting my arms over his and trying to get comfortable in this new foreign position.
“Hey, Bee.” he said lowly.
“Yes, Toji?” I asked.
“I wouldn’t do those things you mentioned earlier… I wouldn’t hurt you. Sure, I’ve hurt a lot of people, hell I’ve done far worse, but you opened your home to me and my kids. You don’t look down on them.” he said lowly. I felt he didn’t truly wish to use the word them, but I nodded.
“Then I am happy for your friendship, Toji.” I replied gently.
After that, Toji watched me a bit closer. Of course, he watched me closely when I first met him, but it was because it was out of caution. But now there seemed to be some deep emotion hidden behind his gaze. He was quick to help me bring in groceries when I brought them home. He heavily insisted on paying for things and said it was just a side part of the balance and he refused to be paid back. When I’d sit out on my balcony after the kids were asleep, Toji would join me. Sometimes he’d drink a beer and I, an alcohol-free wine because I hated actual wine. He’d ask a question that required a long explanation like if I went to college, then what did I study and what my experience was like. He’d just watch me with a side smirk, eyes never leaving me as I spoke. I refused to think anything of it, because all I saw was that look, he gave me when he presented himself to me.
I didn’t trust that any look he gave me was genuine even if deep down I wanted to. Some nights he’d sleep in the guest room with his children, other nights, he’d sleep in my bed curled up to me, dressed this time.
One night, Megumi was sick, I could hear him throwing up in the bathroom, and I got up immediately forcing the sleep from my eyes. Toji had him over the toilet just leaning him over as if he weighed nothing letting him throw up everything, the panic in his eyes were very evident.
He had thrown up in the bed as well and on the floor leading into the bathroom. Tsumiki was standing in the corner scared and confused. I smiled at her and told her it would be okay. I got him so medicine that helped with nausea, but he was too afraid to take it, crying and blubbering.
“Son, please this will make you feel better!” Toji said panicked trying to get the boy to open his mouth and take the medicine which was a thick syrup on a spoon. I placed my hand on his shoulder asking if I could take a crack at it. Tired and stressed he nodded, and I picked up Megumi and held him to me, raising the spoon that had the syrup on it.
“If you take this medicine and feel better, we’ll go and get your favorite ice cream.” I said and he winced, lips quivering at the spoon, but he opened his mouth and took it and followed it down with some water. After a moment, I handed him to Toji who rocked him back to sleep. I quickly moved to the guest room, replaced the sheets with clean linen, and then watched as Tsumiki got back into bed. Toji lied Megumi down gently and I moved from the room to put the sheets in the wash then moved to grab my cleaning supplies.
As I did, I could hear Toji talking to the children, praising them for being good kids. I quietly began to clean up the floor in the bathroom and the toilet as well. Toji was slowly leaving the room promising the kids he was just stepping right outside the door. I didn’t pay much attention to him, until he was on his knees before me.
“I’m sorry.” he said quickly. I glanced at him confused then looked back at the floor.
“For what?” I asked. He looked down at the ground and then up at me and I scoffed. “For your son getting sick. Come on, kids get sick. It’s what being a parent is about, being ready for the vomit.”
“You have any kids?” he asked. I shook my head silently.
“No.” I replied watching as took a cloth and sprayed some of the floor.
“Young siblings?” he asked. I shook my head.
“No.” I replied.
“How the hell are you so good with kids then?” he asked curiously, and I smiled.
“A lot of my friends were teenage mothers. I liked playing with their kids.” I said. When I raised my head, I felt a firm forehead press into mine lightly and now Toji was just staring at me sighing almost with relief.
“Thank you for helping my boy. I’ve never been in a situation like this and if we were out there, I don’t know what I would have done.” he said lowly, his breath tickling my lips. I blinked a bit feeling my chest clench up. His eyes focus on me a bit more before he began to clean in a bit closer to me, his lips closing the space between our own. I gave the gentlest of whimpers before looking away.
“Of course.” I merely replied before moving to continue cleaning up the rest of the bathroom. Toji scowled lightly at the rejection.
“Daddy!” Megumi called out and once we were all cleaned up, Toji went into the guest room. Megumi’s small hand reached out to him and Toji smiled and curled up on the end of the bed, bringing both his children close. His left arm was under their heads and his right arm was over their bodies.
I smiled and moved to close the door.
“Miss Bee, will you stay with us too?” Tsumiki asked, her voice drowsy and tired.
“Yeah Miss Bee, come sleep with us.” Toji teased lightly. I was a bit hesitant, but I nodded.
“Okay.” I said softly, moving into the room, closing the door softly and moving up behind Tsumiki. She curled into my body immediately and I was stunned by the motion. I had never been around kids except when I was a teenager, so to be so engulfed in them now was strange to me. I watched their small heads for a moment, their eyes closed, and their bodies curled into each adult. I then feel Toji’s hand had reached over and curled into my own and I glanced at him, however his head was against his pillow and he was lightly snoring. The next morning, we all caught Megumi’s sickness, but Toji refused to let me get up and help. He made us all stay in bed, bought us soup and medicine even though he was weak too, and we stayed in separate rooms and slept hard.
Two months later
Megumi and Tsumiki were about to start school and so of course I dropped them off with Toji’s permission. He was off at work himself, so I took the time to do a little shopping.
“Beatrice! Beatrice Love is that you!” I heard a high-pitched voice say. I paused and turned to see an associate of mine, Colleen Moreau. She was in a pink halter top dress with a big sunhat over her head blocking her blonde curls. Her dad is a very well-known fashion editor and she herself was prominent model and socialite. She squealed as I smiled warmly at her.
“Colleen Moreau as I live in breathe, how are you!” I asked happily as she approached, and air kissed my cheeks as I did her.
“Wonderful darling, I’m in Tokyo for the 2024 Spring Gala that’s being held at my daddy’s home here!” she said. My eyes dazzled showing excitement.
“Oh, that’s wonderful! I know you shine bright at those events.” I complimented which made her gush. She loved attention and she loved praise.
“Oh stop! I didn’t know you had a place here, I had to hear through the grape vine you’re doing volunteer work with the homeless!” she said. I looked at her confusedly before shaking my head.
“Oh no nothing like that. I’m just helping a friend in need is all.” I replied. She gave a gentle, yet condescending hum.
“Well, you have always been one to open up your home to the needy! Just don’t be surprised if your jewelry goes missing! Gotta learn a lesson one way or the other.” she said. I chuckled softly.
“Thank you for the warning. I will be careful.” I replied. She dug into her coach purse and pulled out some sparkling sunglasses.
“Well, I must be off! Charading around as a poor is no longer fun. You must attend the Gala; I’ll have my people send you an invite.” she said. I had to stop my face from stiffening at her pompous words before nodding.
“That’ll be lovely, thank you Colleen.” I said. She air-kissed me again before strutting away. If she was trying to act like she had low income, her expensive dress gave her away immediately. I did not like associating with her or her father.
By the next week, things seemed back to normal until Toji and I had our first difficult conversation.
“You bought my kids, Ipads, shoes, and new clothes.” Toji said with disapproval. I was wiping a cup off and putting it away when I turned to him.
“Yes.” I replied; however his face did not look pleased.
“You should have asked me before doing that, you’re not their mother!” he snapped. I looked down nodding some.
“I am sorry. I thought it would be a nice gesture-”
“We’re going to be leaving this house one day, out into the cold world and I can’t just have them toting around nice clothes and electronics that won’t help them get by!” he said loudly. I was a bit tense at his tone hearing it raise so quickly. “I am going to have to be the one to take it from them, to sell it for money to keep us afloat. You won’t have to watch the joy leave their eyes when something they really like has to be given up! You won’t have to be the bad guy!”
I winced at his words watching the anger and frustration swirling around his eyes. I looked down sadly and nodding.
“You’re right, Toji. I wasn’t thinking about the inevitable day that you would all leave. Should you truly wish to leave, I will keep the items so if you all decide to come back it’ll be here. I’m sorry.” I said gently. The anger fell from his face, and he just sighed heavily running his hand over the back of his neck.
“Just, please ask me next time.” he said. I nodded.
“I will… I also got you something.” I said. I noticed the brightness return to his eyes just a bit as he looked at me.
“You did?” he asked almost flushed. I nodded and walked toward the hall.
“Come.” I replied and began to move to my room. I heard his heavy footsteps behind me, and I opened my bedroom door and moved to my closet. Once inside, I moved behind the door where I had the items hidden as he stood in the doorway. I pulled out the first items and turned to him.
“I got you a few black shirts, it seems they are your favorite.” I said moving to place them in his large hands. I ignored his hand closing over mine, and I turned and then pulled out the largest items, which were two hoodies: one grey and the other black.
“For whenever you’re working, and things get a little dirty. They’re very good in the rain and other bad weather.” I said holding them up for him to see. Toji’s eyes stared at the shirts for a moment before he looked at the hoodies. The look in his eyes worried me. He didn’t look happy, but he didn’t look upset either.
“If you don’t want them I’ll take them back- mmph!” my words were cut off, my brain not processing the man dropping the shirts and just walking over to me, grabbing my face and crashing his lips into mine. I moaned out in complete shock, eyes wide open as I felt his tongue immediately push past my own. His lips were thinner than mine, and he was definitively enjoying the feel by the low hums that were escaping him.
His tongue explored every inch of my moist cavern, and my hands shook, the heaviness of the hoodies and the daze I felt making me drop them immediately. I feel his body pressing me into the wall, his hands pushing my clothes out of the way, so his hands could press into my shoulders and snake around me.
His mouth was so hot against mine, and I could feel the heat seeping into my body. Balance! Balance! I finally tear my mouth from his, but it only makes him kiss at the air a bit before his lips is on my cheek pepping kisses and trying to meet my lips again.
“Toji, don’t!” I muttered, once I felt his hand grip my chin as if to bring me back to him. He paused, panting lowly against me, staring at me with half lidded eyes.
“You really want me to stop?” he asked, his free hand traveling over to my chest. He cups my breast and immediately I wince finally turning my body from him, remembering that look.
“Yes!” I said which made him look at me stunned.
“Bee.”
“I don’t want you like that!” I said before moving around him and leaving my room. After that, things were tense between he and I. But we made sure to never show discomfort around the kids. I was partly nervous that Toji and his kids would leave. At first, I was indifferent about them coming and going, but now I was used the company.
Toji continued to work, not saying much to me when he got home. I was just waiting for him to just tell me they were leaving or maybe I’d come home, and they’d just be gone. I was stepping out of the shower one day when I could hear them in the other room.
“Why don’t you say you’re sorry then, Daddy.” Tsumiki said.
“Not that simple baby girl.” he said.
“Do we have to go?” Megumi asked, I could hear the fear in his voice.
“No, we’re not leaving, but whatever is decided, nothing will happen to you both.” I hear him say. And he was right. I wouldn’t let anything happen to those kids if I could help it.
One afternoon, I was sitting on my couch, reading, when Toji came into the living room from outside, fuming.
“YOU’RE A FUCKING HEIRESS!” he snapped. I was still for a moment then raised my head and looked at him calmly.
“Huh?” I asked innocently.

Things that flew through my mind while watching this episode:
--For being called "Thank-you, Tokito-kun," Tokito-kun sure isn't in this episode much. Kotetsu-kun does not address Seaweed-Head with '-kun,' he addresses him with '-san.' Oyakata-sama addresses him simply as "Muichiro" in the flashback. Actually, I checked, and only Tanjiro ever calls him that. Is this going to be something Tanjiro hears and thanks him for later? Or has this whole series just been brief chapters in "The Legend of Zenitsu" and that is what Zenitsu titled it?
--Kotetsu-kun is having a bit of a weird night anyway. Brave boy--who, we mustn't forget, is a child who has every reason to feel overwhelmed--went off to get help so that Haganezuka's sword polishing would not be interrupted, and then he fought and nearly got eaten by a demon fish but stayed as strong as he could the whole time. But then when Muichiro starts carrying him and blasting forward at the speed of Pillar, I love that he's screaming his head off. I want a modern day AU of these two hanging out at an amusement park and Muichiro drags him on the big rollercoasters.
--And hey, look, another mention of how important it is not to interrupt that sword polishing process. You want that sword to get ruined, Tokito-kun? Remember that after all the effort you soon go through to protect Haganezuka-san. TO PROTECT THAT SWORD.
--Gonna right ahead to the end of the episode here and mention how Mitsuri is not at all like, "oh no, that's really, really bad" (which it is, that's why Gyokko targeted it), but "okay, watch out, I'm gonna do my best!" This is a girl who has found her true calling. She should give career advice. Does your career make your heart squeeze with excitement even in the tightest pinch?
--As a point of interesting comparison I'm going to come back to, Mitsuri's confidence is well-placed. She runs into situations that overwhelm her and she lacked confidence when trying to learn a Breath she wasn't suited for, but we never see her experience Pillar Imposter Syndrome. Besides just being extremely physically capable, she has picked up battle experience and it has become a part of her. This battle sense serves her very well. On the other hand, we have Muichiro who is not endowed with the same strength, but his analytical abilities are what make him a Pillar quality genius even before he gains much experience.
--Which brings me to Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya, the true stars of this episode.
--Look at these three, legit holding their own against Upper Moon Four. It is a wonder none of them died already. Ok, we have good reasons for why Nezuko and Genya haven't, but in Tanjiro's case, this is exactly what Mitsuri was talking about in episode 1 about how valuable Tanjiro's experience against Upper Moon Six was. Tanjiro has had a excellent gut for battle ever since throwing his axe in the air at Giyuu, and he's always been one to analyze a battle as he's swept up in it. But this is not the same Tanjiro who fought Kyogai! He is able to look for openings and weaknesses in totally different ways so that he can stay calm and relatively in control when fighting one-on-one with Urogi (using Urogi to fly back, now that deserves some flamboyant applause), and his battle senses have gotten strong enough to tell him that he might be able to protect himself against a demon's attack if he had the demon's own cells as a shield.
--Also, all those jokes about attacking Sailor Moon while she is transforming, or Goku while he's screaming and powering up? That is exactly what Urogi is going through.
--Genya, man, you might be coping with Repetitive Action, but you are living on spite.
--Now if only Rengoku could have learned a thing or two about not dying from gaping chest wounds
--Genya, since he fights with desperation, does not get many moments to look cool (badass, sure, but not cool-like-a-cucumber cool). That makes it's so nice that he got to strike that sword and glock pose while delivering the "I'm Shinazugawa Genya--that's the name of the guy who is gonna kill you!" line.
--Which means Genya just had the most Sailor Moon moment of this whole series.
--Sekido has good reason to be ticked off with his body-mates lolly-gagging instead of finishing the demon slayers off. After all, Muzan wants the whole village wiped out (and Gyokko is the only one getting any work done, with all four parts of Hantengu being wrapped up with these three slayers!). Aizetsu is like someone watching an animal die for the pure sadness of it. Aizetsu isn't exactly kind, though he is the odd one out among his body-mates, and I would indeed find it very, very funny if he could be convinced to befriend the sad humans (maybe out of getting some protection from Sekido). Sekido would be so pissed off about missing a critical piece of a more reasonable form like Zouhakuten, and Muzan would be pissed off as he gets this report from Sekido while Urogi and Karaku are running/flying amok.
--While I, being someone who has loved tengu for many years, appreciate the various tengu inspired elements in each of the four Ki-Do-Ai-Raku demons, I have always had trouble seeing it in Aizetsu. This is also why he seems like the odd one out to me. It's like, ah, yes, Sekido with the shakujo staff, Karaku with the bonten-kesa stole and hauchiwa fan, Urogi having the bird-like qualities of a karasu-tengu, and Aizetsu in a tracksuit.
--Instead of "half-tengu" wouldn't Hantengu's name make more sense as "quarter-tengu"?
--It's very funny that Hantengu's alter-egos all portray themselves on the side of spiritual mastery (by way of the tengu/Shugenja symbolism, followed by Buddhism-informed deity iconography, all of which is a whole different tangent of its own). Hantengu's own irony is too big to contain in one tiny body. But also, two crossovers I want to see, so if anybody draws them, please tag me: Hantengu & Co. as Father & Co. from Full Metal Alchemist, and Hantengu & Co. as the stars of Inside Out.
--I'll bet Sekido, as part of his anger-management in spiritual mastery, has agreed to stand by and give his body-mates a chance.
--Karaku acts like an overly pushy boyfriend. Learn from Nezuko, everyone. If a guy is ever giving you a hard time like that, kick his head off.
--Karaku wasn't himself in a position to be able to do much more, but his biggest mistake was giving Nezuko her opening. That whole series of moves she did there--well-placed and powerful kick, sacrificing an arm that'll quickly grow back anyway, throwing blood in Karaku's newly recovered face, and then using her fire as a distraction to reorient and physically overpower Karaku by twisting his arm off to perfectly use his hauchiwa against him, and then turn around ready to use it against Sekido--brilliant.
--Nezuko is not the same demon kicking around and getting her leg blown off by a Taisho soccer ball. She's also not the same demon desperately thrashing around a flesh-filled train. This isn't even the same demon curb-stomping Daki; she has mastery of this state now. Nezuko has peaked here with her battle techniques.
--...especially because this is last night she ever uses her demon abilities
--But!! Thinking ahead to Tamayo's analysis, Nezuko has been prioritizing other developments over reattaining her self-awareness, leaving her mind in a childlike state while she gains abilities closer and closer to those of Upper Moons, and finally masters the sun. However, Nezuko has also shown leaps and bounds in her awareness as well. Just think! What if we had a Nezuko as analytical as her brother this whole time? In all that time Tanjiro was asleep, perhaps Nezuko was also asleep, trying to attain mastery over herself so as to prevent another near mishap? And this gave her more ability to think in battle, as opposed to just attacking with her gut instinct? Nezuko is perhaps just acting on instinct when landing that series of moves on Karaku, but her instincts have gotten really sharp for how to save Tanjiro multiple times in this battle, and for using her blood to heat the sword, even if her idea was just "I'm stuck, take my fire and go." Whatever the case, baby does more than just slash and kick now and I'm so proud of her!

author note1: more yn/joris fluff 🥹🥹 based on charles los angeles vlog here
The warm California sun welcomed Charles Leclerc and his entourage as they stepped off the plane at Los Angeles International Airport. The city's vibrant energy and palm-lined streets signaled the beginning of a much-needed break for the Formula 1 driver and his companions.
"Ah, Los Angeles! It's good to be here," Charles exclaimed, stretching his arms wide.
Andrea, Charles’ trainer, nodded in agreement. "Sì, Los Angeles è sempre bello. È il momento di divertirsi" ( Los Angeles is always beautifuI) (t's time to have fun)
Joris, Charles's best friend and Yn's boyfriend, grinned. "Time for some fun, my friends!"
As they settled into their luxurious villa, Charles couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. "This is exactly what I needed, guys. A break from the racing world and some time to unwind," he said, a genuine smile on his face.
The group, which included Charles, Andrea, Joris, Charles's girlfriend Alexandra, Riccardo, and his wife Marta, as well as Antoine, Charles's photographer and videographer, headed to their hotel to drop off their bags. Charles couldn't help but glance at Yn, his twin sister, who was engaged in lively conversation with Alex.
"Hey, Yn, ready for some LA adventures?" Charles teased, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
Yn rolled her eyes. "Always ready, Charles. As long as you don't embarrass me too much, big brother"
The group's first activity was a friendly basketball game at a nearby court. Charles, not known for his basketball skills, tried his best to dribble and shoot hoops.
"Mon dieu, Charles, maybe stick to racing, tu es vraiment nul au basket!" Yn teased him, earning a laugh from the others.
Alexandra chuckled, also teasing him, "Yea, mon cher, maybe stick to the racetrack. Your skills on the court are... how do you say... not impressive."
Charles smirked, replying in kind, "Eh bien, at least I'm a world-class driver, not a basketball player. And Yn you think you’re very funny, Yn. Let's see you try" Charles replied, passing the ball to her.
After a few failed attempts, Yn admitted defeat. "Okay, maybe basketball is not my forte either, it's a twins thing"
The group decided to cool off with some ice cream, sharing laughs and stories. Charles couldn't help but admire the way Joris and Yn interacted—the subtle glances, the shared jokes. It was a reminder of the strong bond they all shared.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following day, the group rented bikes and explored the iconic Venice Beach boardwalk. Charles and Alex shared a tandem e-scooter, while Yn sat on Joris's lap and with Andrea on another.
"Vous avez l'air tellement mignons ensemble!" Alexandra grinned. (You two look so cute together!)
Yn couldn't help but giggle as Joris wrapped his arms around her waist. "Looks like you guys are having fun," Charles shouted from behind them, causing them all to burst out laughing.
Yn blushed, playfully swatting her brother's arm. "Ignorez-lui, il est juste jaloux" Joris calms her before the two siblings start bickering (Ignore him, he’s just jealous)
"Bon, let the race begin!" Charles declared, revving the e-scooter engine.
Andrea struggled to keep up, and Yn couldn't stop giggling at his attempts. The Venice Beach adventure ended with a mini-race, with everyone enjoying the wind in their hair.
Next on the itinerary was a trip from Malibu to Universal Studios. Yn couldn't contain her excitement, especially when they entered The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
"Charles, we need to buy wands!" Yn exclaimed, practically dragging him into Ollivanders.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," Yn whispered, holding her wand and exploring the magical surroundings and Charles chuckled, indulging his sister's enthusiasm "You really are a fan, aren't you?"
Yn winked. "Always."
"Charles, you have to try the butterbeer! It's amazing!" she exclaimed, dragging him toward the Three Broomsticks.
"Alright, alright, I'll give it a go," Charles chuckled, letting Yn lead the way.
Meanwhile, Joris and Alexandra rushed behind them, especially behind Yn. "I can't believe we're here," Joris whispered
"Me neither, but it's magical and they seem so excited," she replied, high fiving him.
"Look at her, she's like a kid in a candy store," Alexandra remarked, her arm intertwined with Charles'’ when they finally reached the twins in a merchandise shop.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The group also spent another day at Six Flags, where Charles, Alex, and Yn attempted to persuade Andrea and Joris to go on some thrilling rides.
"I prefer the safety of solid ground," Joris insisted, while Andrea nodded in agreement.
Charles, not one to be deterred, grabbed Joris and Andrea by their arms and playfully dragged them towards the rides.
"Come on, guys! Live a little!" Charles exclaimed.
"Non, non, pas question," Andrea protested (No, no, out of the question)
Joris nodded in agreement. "We'll pass, thanks"
"Come on, Andrea, we'll hold your hand the whole time," Yn said with a grin.
Yn, ever the persuader, looked at Joris with puppy-dog eyes, "Allez, mon amour, just one ride!"
"Yeah, come on, guys! It's all in good fun," Alexandra urged, exchanging a glance with Yn.
Joris resisted, but Yn's persistence paid off. Andrea, on the other hand, was tougher to crack. Charles, feigning violence, grabbed Andrea and Joris by the collars, threatening with a smile, "You're coming with us, whether you like it or not!"
Andrea finally relented, and the four of them headed to the ride. As they waited in line, Charles couldn't resist teasing Andrea about his fear.
"Don't worry, Andrea, I'll protect you," he joked, wrapping an arm around his trainer.
Andrea rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smile on his face.
The group's day ended with a whimsical game at the carnival section of Six Flags. A victorious throw won them two enormous plushie bananas. Gleefully, they engaged in a playful banana battle, filling the air with laughter and the occasional thud of soft impacts.
"Attention! Incoming banana attack!" Charles shouted unexpectedly.
Laughter echoed as bananas flew through the air, hitting targets with precision. Alexandra threatened Charles, "If you hit me one more time, you're sleeping on the couch tonight!"
"Banana warfare!" Charles laughed, dodging plushie projectiles.
And they engaged in a hilarious banana fight, Joris and Andrea being the main targets.
The evening continued with board games and ping pong. Charles and Andrea engaged in fierce ping pong battles, while Yn and Alexandra shared laughter and girly moments.
"Hey, Yn, let's go shopping tomorrow before we leave," Alexandra said, breaking Yn out of her thoughts.
Yn grinned. "I would love that"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following morning, Alexandra and Yn set out for their much-anticipated shopping trip in the heart of Los Angeles. The city's famed boutiques and exclusive shops awaited their exploration. The sunlit streets beckoned them as they strolled, laughter and excitement filling the air.
Their first stop was a trendy boutique showcasing the latest in Los Angeles fashion. Racks adorned with colorful dresses, stylish accessories, and unique pieces lined the walls. Alexandra and Yn eagerly sifted through the racks, exchanging opinions and approving nods.
"I can't believe how different the styles are here," Yn remarked, holding up a vibrant sundress.
Alexandra nodded in agreement. "It's a whole new world of fashion. I love it!"
After finding some stylish additions to their wardrobes, the duo headed to Shepora, that promised exclusive and makeup brands that are not available in Europe.
Yn's eyes widened as she discovered the vibrant array of products, including makeup from House Glass, and other niche brands that had yet to make their way across the Atlantic.
"Alex, look at this! I've heard so much about this and now we can finally try it" Yn exclaimed, her excitement contagious.
Alexandra, equally thrilled, added a few items to her basket. "And House Glass! I've been dying to get my hands on their products. This is like a beauty paradise."
The duo then ventured into clothing stores that were exclusive to the United States. American Vintage, Brandy Melville, and Forever 21 were on their list, promising a unique shopping experience with styles not commonly found in their European wardrobes.
As they explored the racks of clothes and tried on various outfits, the two friends couldn't contain their joy. Yn found a bohemian-style dress at American Vintage that perfectly suited her taste, while Alexandra discovered a trendy jacket at Brandy Melville that she couldn't resist.
With bags full of fashionable finds and exclusive makeup and after a successful shopping spree, the duo met with the rest of the group for a leisurely lunch. They chose a charming outdoor cafe with a relaxed atmosphere, where the California sun cast a warm glow over the scene. The vibrant energy of Los Angeles seemed to follow them, making the meal even more enjoyable.
Charles, Joris, Andrea, Riccardo, Marta, and Antoine were eager to hear about the shopping escapades of the two ladies.
"So, how was the shopping spree, ladies?" Charles asked with a grin.
Yn laughed, "We may have gone a little overboard, but it's all worth it."
Yn and Alexandra couldn't stop sharing their excitement, showcasing their newfound treasures and makeup finds. The group laughed and exchanged stories, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie.
Charles, Joris, Andrea, and the others eagerly greeted Yn and Alexandra, curious about their shopping spoils. The table quickly became a showcase of vibrant fabrics and makeup palettes.
"Wow, those dresses are stunning!" Joris exclaimed, eyeing the bags.
"And look at these makeup goodies! You two are going to turn heads," Charles added with a grin.
"Looks like the shopping trip was a success," Joris remarked, his eyes twinkling.
As they settled into lunch, the conversation flowed seamlessly between bites of delicious California cuisine. Yn and Alexandra recounted their shopping adventures, sharing anecdotes about the unique styles and products they discovered.
"Next time, we're all going shopping together!" exclaimed Marta, glancing at the fashionable purchases.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the city of angels, the group bid farewell to the vibrant streets of Los Angeles. Early the next morning, they would embark on the next leg of their journey, heading to the Vegas Grand Prix.
The excitement in the air was palpable as they boarded the plane, their hearts still buzzing with the memories of the Californian adventure. Ahead lay the glittering lights of Las Vegas, where the roar of engines would once again take center stage in the world of Formula 1.
i hope you liked it and if you want to know more about joris and yn and the adventures they are going to follow stay tuned (drama coming soon)

Rewind, Remix, & Replay Jay & Kim 5x17
You can find the rest of the series here
This is a shorter, lighter one. The next few are probably going to be that way too. In the next few chapters, this story is going to get more AU while continuing to follow the storyline. Some chapters won’t have to do with episodes if there is nothing to build upon with Jay and Kim.
Kim’s eyes fluttered as she fought the sleep pulling her back under. She was exhausted and her body pulsed with a delicious soreness from being fucked well and thoroughly. Jay and Kim had fallen into bed, or in their case the couch, for the first time on Tuesday and now it was Saturday morning. The week passed by in a blur of working long hours during the day and having hot sex all night. Kim had gladly given up sleep, eating on a normal schedule, and various other trivial but necessary adult activities to make time for her and Jay’s rising libidos.
Kim had never understood when people said they craved sex. Kim liked sex. She liked how it made her feel, the stress it released, the calmness in her head, and the fatigue in her body after. Kim Burgess had wanted sex but she had never craved it. Not until she had rolled in the sheets with Jay Halstead. She now understood the ache in her lower belly that demanded sex.
Kim wiggled father into Jay's body. She was wrapped in his arms with their legs intertwined, her face buried in his strong chest. She groans lowly as Jay’s body moves as he turns to reach for the bedside table. Kim’s mind processes what I woke her, the ringing of a phone. “’s yours.” Jay’s voice is thick with sleep as he taps the cold plastic against her naked shoulder. Kim’s hand blindly reaches for it. Her eyes crack just a sliver to answer it and put it to her ear.
“Burgess,” She mumbled. Jay realizing she wasn’t getting up wrapped his arm around her again. His brain was fuzzy around the edges and his body was pleasantly sore. He listened to Kim hum and give short answers to the person on the phone. “Late night…Mhmm a crazy case…Yeah.” Kim bolted upright the covers falling to her naked waist. “Yeah, I can pick you up.” Jay watched her turn to get out of the bed as he lifted onto his elbow. Then she paused tension leaving her body, her eyes sliding back closed. “Oh, yeah, yeah, I can do that for sure. Wait, what time is it now?” Her voice rose in discombobulated confusion. “Right, okay, no problem at all Zoey, see you then.”
Jay watched in amusement as Kim dropped the phone onto the mattress at her side before rolling and tucking herself back against him. She moaned happily as her chilled skin pressed against his warm body. Her nipples were hard from the cool air and dragged against his bare skin. Jay tries to ignore how it makes his already half-hard cock harden more. His cock was seemingly the only part of his body that hadn’t tapped out in exhaustion from the prolonged activities from the night before. “Everything okay?”
“Mmmhmm, Zoey just wants me to pick her up from her dad’s at five.” Jay carded his fingers through her thick tresses, kissing her forehead.
“You want to get some brunch before you leave? I don’t think we ended up eating last night.” Jay felt her lips curve into a smile against his chest as she teased him.
“I vaguely remember you eating for hours last night.” The wetness still clinging to the inside of her thighs and the wet spot on the bed being solid evidence in that case. A cocky smile comes to Jay's mouth. “I will take you up on food though, after a nap. We got four hours. That should be long enough time for a shower too- if you can behave yourself.”
“Me?” Jay breathed out a laugh looking down at the vixen masquerading to be an angel in his arms. “You know I was good after round two last night. You were the one who woke me up with your mouth around my-” Kim bit down on his peck making him hiss. She soothed the bite with her tongue.
“Are you arguing with me, Halstead?” Jay opened his smartass remark on his tongue, “While I’m naked in your bed, wrapped around you?” Jay huffed out a sigh shifting so she was further in his embrace, head tucked under his chin.
“You make a good point, Burgess.” Kim pressed a kiss on his peck in reward for seeing it her way.
Kim was being drawn out of sleep by a strong hand caressing her back and a low voice calling her name. She rolls onto her back looking up to see Jay. He was sitting on the edge of the bed with a cup of coffee in his hand. “Hey,” He pushed her hair out of her face, “We slept later than planned. There is no time for lunch now but we can probably sneak in a quick shower- Don't worry I will behave myself; scouts honor.”
Kim pushes up onto her hands, “Can I have one of those,” Kim notices that he has pulled on boxers and seems much more awake than her. Not that was hard. Jay was a morning person. Kim swore he could wake up and be on his feet in ten seconds flat. It was annoying and endearing.
He wraps her hand around the cup. “This is for you.” Kim squeezed his hand before taking a huge gulp. She tried to shake the cobwebs out of her head. “You have an hour until you have to leave. Assuming that you are picking up Zoey from her dad’s house.”
“Yeah,” Kim's eyes dropped to her cup. Jay squeezed her arm comfortingly knowing there had been problems in that house. Kim was pretty tight-lipped about it but she had spilled a little information when she had been drunk. Jay had to half a mind to tell Jordan Sliver just what he thought of how he was treating his little girl. “Thank you,” She swiftly changed the subject looking at him doubtfully, “You were a boy scout?” His dimpled smile was the only response he gave. Kim squinted looking for signs of his deception.
Jay raised his hands in surrender, “Fine, I wasn’t but I promise you will leave on time. ” The way his eyes travel over her naked frame, she wonders how truthful that statement is. The room still smells of sex. It lingers on the sheet and their skin. She needs a shower before she picks Zoey up. “Maybe I’ll even bring over another pizza and dessert for you and Zoey tonight. I’ll even let you guys pick the movie- no complaints.” His smile is easygoing and Kim about kicks herself when the next words come out of her mouth without her permission.
“Jay, what are we doing?” She had been wondering about it all week and it finally bubbled over. Kim was an overthinker and had been struggling with not knowing how Jay felt about this whole situation. They had been friends who were filling a physical touch void, that she understood. Them sleeping together she understood too- the chemistry between them was something she had never felt before. But there was also this real friendship and care for her and Zoey. And it wasn’t just him going through the motions. Kim knew what that looked like. He genuinely wanted to be around.
Kim expected flowery words with no real weight behind them. False sincerity. That is what she was used to. It was what Adam had given her, and what other boyfriends before him had done. She wasn’t expecting his blunt honesty.
“I don’t know.” His expression is serious but he still has a lighthearted grin on his lips. “But I know I don’t want to stop, whatever this is. I know that I haven’t been this happy in-Fuck a really long time. And I promise that as long as we are sleeping together, I won’t sleep with anyone else. And that if anything changes, I will tell you.” Kim is silent as she absorbs what he is saying. She is strangely soothed by his words even with their lack of direction. Maybe it was because she knew they came from an honest place and he wouldn’t leave her wondering if something had changed. “I know that doesn’t really answer your question but is it good enough for now?”
“Yeah, more than good enough.” Kim agreed feeling surprisingly comfortable with the situation and lighthearted.

A different tomorrow
Tomorrow's promise au
Pairing: Shane Walsh x oc, Daryl Dixon x oc
Warnings: Swearing
Daryl’s pov 2.11
Sitting back on the porch floor, Daryl swings one leg over the other while carefully peeling the apple in his hand with his knife, making sure not to nip his skin in the process. Unlike Atlanta, the smell of decay wasn’t as strong at Greene’s farm; instead, his nostrils were filled with what he could only describe as a ‘spring’ smell.
“You gonna quit that?” Daryl asks, making no effort to hide the irritation in his voice.
Rick finally stops pacing and leans against the fencing. He grips onto it so tightly that his knuckles start to turn white. He was stressed, but when wasn’t he? Daryl was enjoying his solitude until Rick stormed out of the farm house, riled up. The former sheriff always seemed to be involved in some kind of shit, and after seeing Sophia come out of the barn, Daryl was done. He had put any faith he had into finding that little girl, only to find out she was dead all along. It changed something inside him.
Shaking his head, Daryl takes another slice of the apple between his teeth and stares out into the fields again, which were now covered by a golden glow as the sun started to set. He looks back over to Rick, who is resting his head in his hands. Daryl contemplates saying something, but the slamming of a car captures his attention.
“Lily, what's wrong?"
Lily storms up the steps onto the porch and roughly shoves her brother in the chest, saying, “You're an asshole.”
Hearing the aggression in her voice, Daryl tosses the fruit onto the ground and gets to his feet. He’s taken aback by the visible pain on her face; she looks broken. He scoffs at seeing Shane walking up towards the porch; whenever Lily was upset, Shane was never far behind.
“You promised me, you promised.” Seeing Lily shove Rick again, Daryl wraps one arm around her waist and lifts her back with ease. “Let go of me, Daryl!”
He didn’t care if she kicked and screamed; Daryl wasn’t letting go of Lily until he was sure she wouldn’t hurt herself further. “Go easy before you hurt yourself; you don't want to bust up your arm again.”
Her strength while trying to get out of his grasp surprised him; she was like a wild animal trying to get out of a trap. He was trying so hard not to care about either of the Grimes; he had already become too attached, but he couldn’t deny they were good people. Rick was always risking his life for others, and Lily… she just wanted to keep Jace safe. A mother who was happiest playing with her baby.
When he feels Lily calming in his arms, Daryl loosens his hold on her. She walks over to Rick, tears brimming in her eyes. “The one fucking thing I've ever asked of you, and you couldn't even do that.”
“Lil-”
Struggling to hold it together, she ignores her brother and goes into the house.
Daryl looks directly at Rick, “I've no idea what shitstorm is going on, but I'd let her cool down.”
“If you've got something you want to say, man, now is the time.” Shane snaps, sending him a death glare. “You think—”
“Whatever,” Daryl shrugs him off. “I ain’t got time for this soap opera bullshit.”

Sunghoon x fem reader! friends to lovers!; college au!; Art club president au!; tw: mentions of stalking.
Song recommendation: Mine— Taylor Swift.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・
—Are we both looking at the same thing?
Jake said as he spoke closer to my ear in a whisper like tone. We were sure this wasn’t the first time it happened but this was definitely our first time seeing it. I nodded and instinctively brought my hands to shush him out before he could call her out as he was about to do so. — We need proof first, Jake. Hoon isn’t going to do anything unless he sees what she is really doing.
I was fuming, but I tried my best to keep my cool; since Sunghoon became president of the art club, we went from zero to a hundred in all cases: from having no members to almost 20 request per day and in some instances, there were people who had little to no interest in art: they were just fascinated by Park Sunghoon. It was quite normal to find two or three people in for him and then when they noticed that he wouldn’t approach the same way, they would stop.
But this was different.
This girl was completely harassing him and taking pictures and videos of him in “secret”, to no avail also, because Jake and I caught her but still, the sole idea of somebody taking advantage of Sunghoon’s kind and calm personality put me in a totally different state of mind and since I knew the man like the palm of my hand, I also knew that he would want to avoid any sort of conflict but the way his eyes pleaded to mine when we found each other’s eyes told me something that was for sure: he also wanted help.
—Okay, everyone! — I stood up with clasped hands and a big smile, pretending not to know anything. I strode up to where Sunghoon was standing and linked arms with him, bringing him closer to myself a little bit; enough to make distance between himself and her. I almost felt bad at how she seemed to stretched her hand out to grab his sleeve, but I also wanted the best and comfort for my friend. — Time to pair up! Search for somebody and as I did, once you found your partner, link arms and start working on ideas for the exhibition of next month! Quick!
Once she felt out of place between his tall figure and mine, she walked away slowly while sending daggers in my direction trough her eyes. Like he was her possession and I just took him away from her, quite literally. But the thing was, Sunghoon was never mine, because I never considered him “something” but someone close and someone I…
—Are you okay? — I said in a whisper while tugging him out of the classroom. He didn’t oppose, rather, I felt his body relaxing and his footsteps became less heavy.
—I don’t know why… — He started, a frown forming in his delicate features; scrunched nose showing his frustration. He hadn’t done anything wrong yet I know he was blaming himself so I stretched my hand and softly pinched his cheek.
—Stop it, Hoon. — I retracted my hand and then brushed his locks away to soften the same lines that formed in his forehead with a light smile forming on his lips and almost like magic, on mine too. — I guess it’s my turn to protect you.
If I wanted to capture something in my mind forever was Sunghoon’s dimpled smile and rosy cheeks laughing at my selfish comment. I wasn’t strong nor I was the smartest but I liked him, and if I had to put myself first this time I would, because there were dozens of past times were he had done it for me. Sunghoon could be awkward, shy and even too boring for some people; but I just liked him the way he was. I didn’t need to sit in an imaginary rollercoaster while being with him, it felt like we were puzzle pieces when together. Different but still fitting. He reached out and tentatively locked our hand together, his face painted dusty rose and his sweet smile still from ear to ear. — I never knew it would made me kind of happy to hear that.
—She would do anything for you! — Jake screamed out, startling both of us and in the process, making him break the sudden contact. — But I will too! This isn’t a good thing at all, man.
Jake showed Sunghoon proof of him being recorded and the photos that were circulating trough a group chat where that person was distributing them. — We can…
—No. — I said, snatching the phone away from him; this was like a catalogue for a human and it made me sick to my stomach to see it. How could anyone think like that? — I will take matters into hand.
I gripped the phone and my hand and sighed, looking up again to see the boys with a confused look on their faces. Jake was expectant but Sunghoon… he seemed a little bit hesitant. Those puppy eyes looking into mine were not working this time, we could no longer protect this type of actions but I still reached out and squeezed his hand quickly, locking our eyes together. — I promise this will be over soon, Hoon.
Friday reached over and I was waiting down the hall for Sunghoon when I noticed a familiar figure standing next to the door of his classroom. Oh no, not again. I started walking with so much fire in my chest that I almost could feel that if I didn’t calm myself while walking down the next few steps, I would most definitely lose composure.
—What do you think you are doing? — I said while standing in front of her, my voice becoming so stern an icy, I didn’t knew I could speak like that. — You’re harassing him, you know?
—I’m not! — She screeched out so loudly that people started gathering around; I crossed my arms in my chest and sighed. No remorse at all.
—You are. — I pointed out to her phone and then at the classroom. — You’re stalking him. I would not tolerate it.
—There it is! That fucking nasty attitude of yours — She dug her nails into her palms as if wanting to punch me in the face wasn’t evident enough on the way she talked. — You think he’s yours only!
—He’s not a thing, for God’s sake! He’s a Human! — I pointed out to her and then the classroom door opened. A concerned Sunghoon appeared looking at me and then at her; he put his hand on the back of my shoulder and squeezed it a little, knowing it would calm me down but I still kept going. — He’s not mine! He’s not yours! He’s just himself!
When she was about to respond, Sunghoon stood in front of me and took my hand; locking them in place while intertwining our fingers. — This conversation is over. Stop bothering my girlfriend from now on, please.
Yeah.
What?
With ease, Sunghoon parted the crow and started guiding us trough it. In a hushed voice and with rushed steps, I could finally hear his calm tone again this time laced with something even more intimate in it. — Hold my hand tighter if it makes you feel safer.
When we reached out the art salon that was designed to be our club, we almost collapsed behind the door but we allowed ourselves to just close our eyes for a moment and feel our shoulders brushing, our hands sharing warmth and we let out a small giddy laughter from our chests. I could hear the echo of his words from earlier but this was still nice. Just feeling him close to me. But then he spoke with a grin showing his pearly white teeth and half-closed eyes, pure happiness seeped trough his expression. — So… I said something out there?
Yes, you did. — I also smiled widely, not caring to hide my interest in him anymore and that seemed to be the case too for him as his eyes sparkled up at the sight of my own smile.
Are you okay with that? —He said while biting his pretty plump lips and trying his best to contain a tentative smile; It was his first time being this brazen and if I didn’t knew him, I wouldn’t have notice his blushed ears and neck.
—I do. — I said while squeezing his hand, dropping my head on his shoulder as his lips kissed the crown of my head with care. Sensing a smile forming in his lips, I continued my speech a lot more relaxed this time. — I’ve been waiting to say it but I’m just so happy that you did too, I’m just…
When his lips touched mine, I could only let all of the emotions I wanted to put on speech on that kiss. We moved our lips carefully to a vals that didn’t exist yet but was perfect for us two and when breathing was necessary, our selfishness got the best of us; wanting to feel closer than ever, we separated out of breath, foreheads touching each other and contagious smiles adorning both of our expressions. He engulfed me in a big hug and I basked in the scent of his cologne, feeling the rush of this fuzzy feeling in my whole body.
This was being in love and being reciprocated and there was no better feeling in the whole wide world. Because now, it was you and me and that’s my whole world.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・
Oh how i love my sweet little fluff, i tried to not focus so much on the stalking part but i did wanna show that even men can be victims to that; so regardless of any gender, race or orientation if you found yourself in a similar situation it's best to call for help asap.

Chapter 130 rambles...
Okay, I stayed up late for this chapter so many of my first thoughts are gone, lost in the world of dreams, BUT I still want to try to form any coherant sentences.
Which is hard this chapter becaue when i read it my mind just goes blank. No thoughts behind those eyes lol. Warning: a lot of pictures!
Anyway (spoilers ahead! Read at own risk)
Possessed Innocentis still giving me the creeps eww
NOOOOO not the soldiers that guarded Innocentis!
Like that we are still at the falling stage and have yet to hit the ground (this sounds horrible jesus)
THE REACTIONS OF THE THREE samesies
The panel with the Lusitanian unifrom (is it a unifrom???) just haning there ragged - oof that was a red herring right there! I was convinced that something awful will happen to Estelle...
Aaand we cut to this! The placment of the helmet! Their faces!
I will spare you the image of Innocentis and Amdragoras mangled bodies. @tired-reader-writer has it in their reaction post if anybody wants to see it.
The way Arslan reaches for the helmet! How we can't clearly tell if it is happiness (least likely - thats just not his character) or sadness (also not really likely in my opinion) or just pure shock (most likely)
okay, Elam calm thy self! Because if you say that now then it will most likely not happ-
aaaand I was right!
Eww get back, get back, get back! Do NOT come ANY closer!
The way Elam and Daryun immediatly get into action! Same, Alfarid, same!
~Andragoras, you are a hypocrate and delusional~ You were a shit king and your court was also full of shit. Being a king does not only require to be strong. Maybe you should have listend to Narsus instead of stroking your ego, ey?
Yes, Arslan! Tell him (again)! He will still not get it but tell him!
Oh eh, he-hello Tahamenay...
Oh, why is that momet so fucking tender? It seems he did actually love her...?
Aaand it is over... serves you right, Andycakes!
Love Tahamenays face here. The pure desperation and hatred...
I also like that he slowly excepts his demise and hugs her one last time before dying... Ugh I am a sucker for tragic romances (here one sided though) and the last hug... GAH
The faces of everyone! Alafrid is me through out this entire chapter for real!
Ugh Tahamenay! I have never fell more roller coaster feelings for this woman since her talk with Arslan! You are now free!
Estelle!!!!! No baby don't falter now!
Alafriiiid! My baby, my cutie! I will die for youuuu!!!! (I will put you through so much shit in my AU, I am sorry)
This panel... It makes me feel so dejected...
The citizens stopping Estelle... There is noboy at fault (except the racism against Jaswant. Not cool, guys!)
FARANGIIIIS! My queen to the resque!
The way my heart sank when Estelle opened the door and there was nobody...
And they were save afterall! Thank you, three boys whos names I forgot (sorry)
Oh the news are spreading like wildfire!
Love the different reaction shots! And the diferent levels of emotions! (also side note: Zandeh looks really good here...)
aaand here we go! Straight to hell... here I had hoped that we get at least a little breather...
FUCK NO! GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ISFANT AND KUBARD!
That is NOT Shapur, you two! RUN!
I had such a jumpscare. I was awake and tired at the same time.
No thoughts about my AU this time. Maybe some reaction scenes from Farzin and his army? Will defenitly wait until the kidnapping of Alafrid and Gieve here. Alfarid is way to important right now to just... yoink her from there.
OH! What if the do the same with Vahriz as they are doing with Shapur!? CHABIK REACTION SCENE OOOOOOH!
#arslan senki#the heroic legend of arslan#this was such a roller coaster of a chapter!#so much yet so little happend#or that is how it feels like to me#my brain is empty holy fuck
