Welcome to the Aquatic Transformers Fan Zine!

This is still a work in progress. The interest check is out and open to all :)

This zine won't just revolve around Merformers, but any transformer with an aquatic alt mode, or occupation! For instance Riptide, Thunderblast, Seaspray, transformers with flying alts that have water landing gear, or even humanformers having a beach day!

If they can be tied to the water in anyway (au's or plain canon) they're going in the Zine. Artists, and writers will both be needed.

You will not need to provide money to aquire a copy. This is a sfw Zine with no age requirement.

Regarding artist and writer applications, per the inquiry of an interested party.

All writers must be able to maintain a highschool level of literature understanding. With a minimum of 1k words for their story.

All artists must be able to create a minimum of one art piece with line art (clean or not is up to the artists discretion, as art styles vary from individual to individual), and a background (color or simple shapes minimum). Color is not required, however recommended.

Most, however not all, writers and artists will be paired up to create their pieces together. For instance, one author writes a story in which the artist will create their art piece in correlation to, or inspired by. Though this is not mandatory, it is encouraged for those who work best in this format.

Finally, do remember that this is a zine open to many ages. Content crossing the line between what's appropriate and inappropriate will not be tolerated. Stay kind, creative, and respectful out there ❤️

Apologies for being absent as of recently. Applications for positions as organizers will be opening tomorrow. Those applying for positions in organization will be tasked with formatting the zine, moderating the discord, and other miniscule tasks as they pop up.

A Google form will be posted at 1500 EST on 10/31/24. The form will go over all of the qualifications for an organizer such as having discord, a moderate range of availability and flexibility, and maintaining a certain level of professionalism.

Following the choosing of organizers, posts recruiting artists and writers will then go up. Please be on the lookout for these posts, and don't be afraid to send in any questions you have regarding the zine, applications, and etc. Posts can be made answering any of these questions at the request of the individual. All asks will be answered.

Just curious, has there been any updates on this?

Hello! I apologize for leaving this ask unanswered for so long.

There is currently plans to start accepting applications. I [Swervable] have been waiting to get enough traction with the interest check before moving forward.

Hopefully within the next week or two applications for artists, organizers, and writers will be opening up.
