I love that I can have multiple lock screens, and that I can adjust each for both orientations. My iPad looks great! Lol.

I’ve tried cross-stitch a few times in my life with no real success, but I had motivation this time. I’ve now got the best little ship on my sleeve!

Star Trek Voyager bookmarks!

And here’s the finished project! I settled on just doing the science blue shoulder points. I tried to match the colour specifically to the Voyager science blue. My jacket is very Star Treky now and I couldn’t be happier.

I just came up with the idea to add science blue stitching/trim to my jean jacket, but I’m not sure how I should do it. I’ve come up with three options:

A ring around the right cuff.

Something subtle like stitching by the rank pips.

Something outrageous like replicating the uniform shoulders.

Since I've been posting a few Star Trek related things I've made, I figured it's high time I shared the bracelets I made ages ago.

Prodigy themed anklet.

(I've never actually worn this one because I still haven't gotten around to actually finishing it off properly.)

I was buying a bunch of stuff for my students when I spotted sheets of corkboard and realised it would be great to keep all my pins in, though I wasn’t really sure how it would work.

As it happens, my parents were stopping at a picture place to get some paintings framed and I spotted a picture frame that was just the right size. I just had to trim about 5 mm off one side on the corkboard. The frame was plane wood and my mum pointed out it would be the same colour as the cork, so I figured I could paint it. I got some paints, removed the glass, and spent yesterday afternoon sanding the wood and painting it.

I went with blue because most of the pins I have here are Star Trek ones and I wanted the frame to kinda match the Federation flag. I thought about painting the logo onto it, but that would be a lot of detail in a very small space and I’m just not that good with paint.

Trying to draw Janeway’s combadge and having trouble seeing because my own mini combadge is flashing the light directly into my left eye every time it gets moved. 😂

This project was put on hold due to lack of access to embroidery floss …

But it’s arrived!! (My brother had to bring it.)

The colour looks a bit different in the picture, but it’s so perfect. I can’t wait to actually sew it!

Well, I didn’t wait.

The basic outline of one shoulder is done. It might look a little lopsided, but it should look fine once I’m wearing it.
