started a new dnd campaign tonight. put the players in a hole in the ground at the start and it took them 30 minutes to climb out. 😌😌 success
#it’s like if davy jones au was a dnd campaign tbh#mashed together potc and black sails and the silt verses and temeraire and that short story from uncanny mag and idk maybe liveship traders#i think everyone had fun at LEVEL 1 they fought a sahuagin priestess and her skeleton posse#two other sahuagin (while injured so blood frenzy advantage for shark bois)#then they fought five zombies and seven skeletons 🥰🥰#and this is. three PCs. how are they even alive dbdbdbd#but yeah. next week i chase after their salvaged 5th rate ship with sharks!!! and maybe giant undead hawks who have a ‘fling my own entrails#attack 😌 i’m already like 80% on the broad arc for the campaign#personal#dnd stuff
