also I think we need to entirely reframe how we view mental health and "psychopathology" and I am not fucking kidding
#alic lore#my body and my mind are inseparable and they both make each other sick. i have not been suicidal since i started treating my chronic illnes#and this is not me saying that a reduction in symptoms made me happier-- my suicidal ideations and frankly compulsions WERE symptoms#of a hormonal imbalance inside my body#but nobody cared to find that out.
