the fact that because theres been no news or content for yuri on ice within the past few years has led to most modern fandom stuff put online for it nowadays being nothing but useless discourse is so irritating

i just wanna talk abt my love for the show yall idc how much u hate one specific fic writer or mappa in general, most of the time its rly nobody's business and or ppl always manage to take the wrong message out of it

#celestxt #fun fact my old twt for a good 5 ish year was mainly dedicated to yoi #but now bc of my cg interest & bc of how horrid the fandom became i just dont ever talk abt it verbally anymore #& seeing ppl mainly blame mappa as the reason that the movie got cancelled along w whatevers going on now is so heartbreaking #this is def not to say the fandom was perfect back then (theres a reason kubos been ia online for a few years) but still #theres used to be hundreds of new artworks / fics on the yoi tag DAILY dude #now whenever i check it i usually find nothing but 'fuck mappa' posts & ppl making fun of a writer they find annoying #atp just block whoever u dont like and get a new hobby if this is all u guys have to deal with in this space bc this just generates misery
