Recent painting time! Had a lot of fun with this one and took a slightly different route with painting the stars that I really liked.

The character’s name is Skye and she is played by Momo O’Brien on the podcast called the Atomless.

I'm trying to get back into RPGs and drawing... I don't ever really draw digitally, anyone who knows me knows I'm best with pen and paper, but idk something possessed me last night

now up to date with: - maintenance phase

finished: - unreformed (this was the one i figured should have been a written article instead, it was informative and awful to hear about but it was hard to maintain the mood of gravitas when i was getting bombarded by long ad breaks multiple times an episode) - dreamboy (interesting concepts, sound design was on point, but clearly intended to have a season 2 and never got it, so the only thing that actually moved forward in the story by the end was the relationship between the two main dudes who i didn't like that much. the way they described dicks bordered on body horror and there are a Lot of dicks. also i only heard about this through the song 'sugar neighbors' and imo the version that was in the podcast is just Worse) - friends at the table (which is to say i think after like 20 hours of listening over multiple different seasons, it's just not clicking for me so i'm giving up on it. i liked the worldbuilding episodes but once they got into actual rp the character interactions felt disappointingly FLAT)

currently working on: - fine blueprints - inn between (a cute low-budget production about dnd adventurers, where the episodes only take place in the inn they keep going back to at the end of the day, so it's a scripted mostly character-focused thing rather than an actual play. the episodes are only like 10-20 minutes long which feels right for the kind of story it's telling and means it's very easy to pick up. rn they're crowdfunding for a season 5 iirc)

newly added to recs: - terrible, thanks for asking (where people go on to actually talk about all the horrible shit that's bothering them, i guess? seems like a 50/50 on whether i'll get really into it or hate it) - party of one (an actual play where every episode has a different special guest and ttrpg, eidolon's dm was on it but that's the only episode i've listened to so far) - the amelia project (a self-described black comedy about a secret agency that helps their clients fake their deaths) - grim encounters & the atomless (two actual plays in systems i have 0 experience with)

I love @captainkrail's very first monologue on The Atomless so much that I made this trailer using the animated scenes that Mo Mo made throughout the show. Matt has had a lot of great opening monologues in the show so far but this one still burns so bright for me.

writing. No joke, top of the list, I fucken love slotting it all together and playing about with words just to see what happens

gaming! whether boardgames or computer, the more co-op the better (although trying to kill everyone in Betrayal last night was pretty fun)

I'm giving a specific shout out to Camlann and The Atomless as my two favourite podcasts that just make the hour-in-each-direction commute worthwhile actually

film nights AKA date nights if I'm lying to people for the bit. We're watching doctor who right now and I just love that we've managed to keep a day and time going for the past... five years now?

I know it's so dumb but actually the names of the daylists that spotify gives me... they're so all over the place... I keep being assigned villainy and clowncore and it's the greatest thing
