As promised, PART 2 of the previous LUNDInium outskirts is here! It's been brought up to my attention that I spoke a lot about my own room last time, so I'm going to start my post with my favourite meme:

Since the last time I couldn't cover Dr. Pinkie's room, she has very nicely decided to cooperate and is releaving the full beauty of the rooms. What do you have to say about them?

what are your favorite steely dan songs? i want to start listening but idk where to start !

I think most everyone would agree that their 1977 album Aja is their best release! It's just the perfect blend of jazz and rock with hints of progressive rock throughout (especially in the title track). I'm still a really new fan myself so I haven't heard every single one of their albums yet!! But I would give Aja is a listen and if you want more jazz I'd say listen to Gaucho or if you want more rock then perhaps The Royal Scam!! 😌 Enjoy Donald Fagen's weird, fun, and emotive voice with the tightest sounding band and production.

42 - what would you do if you won the lottery? buy my parents and siblings (and some other relatives) whatever they want, pay for things my friends need, buy myself some cool clothes, then give the rest to charity or fund something to help ppl in my community!

49 - what’s your favourite memory? hm this is difficult. maybe picking strawberries with my grandma at age six, after spending the morning at the public pool. the trip my family took just traveling around italy. or in boston last year, driving around with my uncle and eating donuts. exploring nyc with ezra. sitting in a bar with a wonderful beautiful girl and holding her hand. i don’t know. what a wonderful thing it is that i can’t give a clear answer to this.

my best friend is so funny that i never stop laughing around her. she’s so ambitious and i can’t wait to see what she does with her life. she’s so strong, and yet she knows how to let her guard down when she needs to. she makes mistakes but she never wants to hurt anyone who doesn’t deserve it, so she asks advice when she knows she doesn’t know what to do. she once told me she always wants to know me, and i definitely echo that sentiment

Betelgeuse: What’s something you can never forget about?

One of my favorite memories was in summer 2012. The beginning of the year was very traumatizing and the winter of 2011 was the worst time in my life and my parents were separated for a while (though, they should have gotten divorced in all honesty) but in the summer I went to a handful of amazing concerts that I traveled to California for. I met the band Yes (when Chris Squire was still alive!) and became sort of friends with them for a short while. I saw Duran Duran for the first time at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California - which is a beautiful place. It was one of the happiest times of my life. My mom and I were living together and that was the most free I had ever felt in my teenage years. Not to get into the trauma of having an abusive parent, but those months that my parents weren’t together gave me a taste of what it would be like without my father in my life and it was a world of a difference. I felt like that summer changed me so much. I can’t believe it’s been almost eight years already.
