🚨 New Class Alert Henna Tattoo🚨 While the term "henna" is Arabic and is tied to many cultures and religions, it's most predominant in India where it's known as mehndi. Henna is a crucial part of many Indian celebrations, including Diwali, engagements, and weddings. The henna itself is a temporary dye that has gained popularity for its beauty, but among Indian culture it's considered more of a ritual. The henna tattoo is most commonly worn on the hands and feet but it can be applied anywhere on the body. Once it’s applied, the longer you leave it on your skin, the darker it becomes. The darker your henna tattoo, the longer it lasts. With proper care, it won’t start to fade until 2 weeks. To make the ink, henna leaves are crushed into a paste or dried into a powder, then mixed with a liquid such as water, tea, or lemon juice. Honey or sugar can also be added to the mixture. The artist then applies the ink to the skin and leaves it to dry. We are offering a new and fun class to our menu of classes and this class can be taken online or in person at our Marietta Ga location. This is course is going to feel like an art course but it will be lots of fun. As always, a kit and certificate will be included. Нашла на просторах интернета своеобразную нательную карту #мехенди. Далее в карусели можете увидеть её и некоторые примеры цвета на работах моей любимой Кали Торрес @atlantahennastudio ❤️ ➡➡➡.

⠀⠀На карте условно показано, как ведет себя хна на разных участках кожи. И сколько там живет рисунок. О тыльной стороне ладоней сложно сказать, что они носят его 10-15 дней, потому как часто контактируют с водой и подвергаются трениям и механическим воздействиям. Разве что сложить белы рученьки и совсем ничегошеньки ими не делать ☺. Я бы сказала, скорее 5-10 дней. Вот ноги и часть рук от кистей до локтя отлично могут выносить свои 2-3 недели.

⠀⠀Эта карта, больше, ориентир на интенсивность цвета.

«Самые рекомендуемые места для нанесения мехенди — кисти рук, руки, ноги и ступни. Кожа на этих местах толще, поэтому цвет будет насыщеннее и держаться будет дольше. Цвет и стойкость также зависят от индивидуальных особенностей каждого человека.»

Сразу после снятия пасты хны цвет рыжий/морковный. На воздухе с течением времени #хна на коже созревает - темнеет, приобретая благородный коричневый цвет, чаще с оттенками бордо. Обычно это происходит в первые 2 дня жизни рисунка.

И ещё.

Наша кожа на всем теле неоднородна: имеет разную структуру и плотность. Если посмотрите на свою руку, то заметите, что кожа внешней части кисти отличается от кожи ладони. На ладони слой кожи толще и плотнее. Кожа лица, отличается от кожи рук и т.д. Так вот, чем нежнее и тоньше кожа, тем светлее появляется хна, чем кожа толще и грубее - тем ярче. Участки с более грубой кожей обычно и дольше вынашивают рисунок.

I was on Periscope the other night practicing those delicate and stunning humps that Kali (@atlantahennastudio) does. I ended up scribbling a bit of henna on myself to see how my practice translated into skin. Not a bad attempt. I shall keep on going till I get them perfect. A tiny 0.4mm tip helps along with super super fine henna (purchase from abridalartist.etsy.com). Make your paste runnier than usual and make sure you skim the surface instead of draping.
