what I like most about this is that it could go either way and still work perfectly. I like to think Zuko owned the pink one and Katara made the blue one for Sokka forever ago, and then when Sokka got too tall and Zuko peaked height-wise at thirteen, Sokka just gave him the blue nightgown as a gift

instead of a tea shop, he opens a milo cafe. cold milos and hot milos. he has nailed the exact ratio of milo to milk and he uses it to make mad bank once the citizens of ba sing se realise how fucking good milo drinks are

he also sells those little tubs of milo ice cream oh my GOD those are the best

he also sells bubble-o-bills and callipos and magnum bars once he gets to the upper ring of ba sing se

his metaphors always have to do with the outback or whatever like zuko will want to search for the avatar and he's like "aight wot you need to do is go and find a wattle tree and sway with it. let the smell of the wattle wash over you" and zuko goes and smells the wattle tree and discovers they smell like SHIT and how are they the national plant they're ugly and smell like dying roadkill #bottlebrushgang

he REALLY likes football. not european football or american football. i'm talking genuine australian rules football. some good old AFL. his favourite team is collingwood because they won at some point in the last few years? look i'm from sydney i dont know a lot about afl and at this point i dont care

he also likes ruby and NOT the international shit i'm talking genuine australian rugby. it's basically wrestling on a sports field. his team is the south sydney rabbitohs bc that's my team and i won't take no for an answer #fuckthestorms

he has the most disgusting accent. not that weak shit that non-australians try to do. stop doing that shit (please don't it's hilarious) I'M TALKING REAL GENUINE AUSTRALIAN SHIT. take my poppy for example. i could barely understand a word he was saying at any given time and had to use my mum as a translator. god forbid i ever talk to him on the phone because he sounded like he was mumbling bullshit

he also loves house rules and masterchef (the block is better imo but this man has to have no taste #fuckhouserules) (masterchef is really good tho i'm so hype for the finale)

oh also his milo cafe becomes a pub once any sport game is on. he sells tooheys and vb and carlton draught and no other types of beer and the kids get a fire engine if they ask politely (again, i apologise to non-australians but i'm not explaining what a fire engine is. it's not what you think) and he outsources the best chips and steaks in ba sing se and makes a killing

nothing changes about his personality. he's still sweet old uncle iroh. except he has the worlds strongest accent, and gets wayyyy too into his sport
