—2/3 week hiatus announcement

hey, everyone!

so sorry to interrupt your scrolling, I just wanted to make an official announcement that I’m going on a hiatus. I will be back asap.

life is just really piling up atm and i want to give it my best, so i can’t even think about tumblr time rn. so sorry to friends that i am abandoning! ( @softhwas in particular, i’m so sorry and will miss/have been missing our convos T-T)

anyway, hope to be back come november! i love you all and hope you are doing well! especially to the people who have left me love the past while of less activity ( @yunhowhoitiss @haotheheckk @twancingyunhoe rosie and @yeocult you own my heart and i adore y’all <3)

p.s. college essays are both a blessing and a curse, and if y’all could cross your fingers/say a prayer for me to get those scholarships that would be very sweet of you. i love doing them but am putting pressure on myself and i’m working on not! but, yeah, there’s my oversharing of the day. again, i love you all so much! <3

Hey, everyone! So, it’s looking like I’ll be irregular, Tumblr-wise, for the next little while. School’s a little hectic, and until I figure out my classes + college apps, I’ll be pretty busy. Expect me to clutter up your dash around three evenings each week! ^^

Tumblr friends > writing, for me, actually! So sorry to those who only follow me for writing (I know, I have no personality haha) BUT! I have a new series for SVT and ATZ sketched out mentally: Longing Looks Like. Wooyoung’s camp!au, childhood friends has an outline and 600 words so far! Wonwoo’s CEO!au, strangers to lovers will be out after that!

Sorry for all the college stressing, y’all. I have too many worries about who I want to be TM when I consider college, so that’s a thing... oops. It’s just, I’m applying to a college that would be great academically, and another that would be great for leadership/self-improvement, and in addition to making essays that suit each, I just... have no clue which one I’ll pick. Anyway, that’s the oversharing! haha

pumpkin - do you think that humans are inherently good or bad?

I believe humans inherently have both good and bad, but also that this question is vague enough that I want to establish definitions and write a whole essay. So I’ll leave it at that! (Although I love to hear people’s perspectives on this!)

harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?

Growing up, I related to Hermione from Harry Potter. Then Inej from Six of Crows. Recently, I’m not really sure. I know there’s been a few fanfiction portrayals of different idols/characters that have really resonated with me, though!

cider - a food that you disliked as a child but now enjoy?

Brussel sprouts, hands down. My mom uses garlic on them nowdays and roasts them and there’s nothing better!!

amber - share an unpopular opinion that you may have.

Oooh! Helen, I feel like you’re trying to get me to stir the pot here! haha I’m not sure that this is unpopular, but it’s very specific to context. I think: Sometimes people, with best intentions, try to make people feel like, if they’re the way they are forever, that would be okay. People can emphasize the “you’re alright” so much that it can enable people to wallow and be complacent—stagnant—when they need someone grabbing their hand to urge them forward. Change is actually really, really good. Letting people change you for the better is beautiful. But sometimes people emphasize being you and not letting others change you so much that I feel like some people begin to resist becoming better. Which is very sad to me.

oooh yes! i like that summary, very simple yet it makes you feel things. i play the flute for band hehe:)) also what are your thoughts on sunsets and sunrises?

AAAAAAA!!!! tiny! one of my good friends played flute in marching band, and my mom actually still plays from her hs days! that’s so fun!!! (so, you know, in my humble opinion, flute players are some of the best ppl 🥰)

My thoughts are a bit incoherent and abstract, sorry in advance! Sunrises and sunsets usually make me feel very grateful to be alive, and make me look at everything in a new light. It’s like literal romanticization—the sky is suddenly alive, and everything is bathed in gold. So for me, it makes me feel ethereal, and feel like everything else has a bit of magic!

cinnamon - if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where?

So, as much as I adore history and different settings, I am beyond grateful to live in a time of running water and accessibility to learning, so if anywhere, a utopian future!!

cranberry - what’s one physical feature that you get complimented on?

A lot of people compliment my hair! More so when I was younger though ^^

maize - share the weirdest encounter you’ve had with a stranger on the street.

So, I live in the country, so I very rarely have encounters on the streets 😅 Maybe the time on vacation (two states away) where I wore my UGA shirt and a random dude yelled “HERSCHEL WALKER!!” <- a famous running back there

ghost - is there someone that you miss having in your life?

To be honest, I haven’t had much loss in my life. While I’ve technically lost many friends to moving schools, stuff like that, I don’t mourn them. We always end up where we’re supposed to be! So I really try not to miss people ^^

moonlit - are you a neat or messy person? Is your room / house orderly?

I feel messy half the time but always get things put back away. So neat, with a room that’s messy until I declutter at the end of the week!

crow - which school subject do you wish you had an aptitude for?

Not so much aptitude, but I wish I had more interest in sciences like biology and anatomy! I’m afraid I did the bare minimum for those classes and I wish I knew more about the human body and the like! ^^

Hannah!!! I don’t really know when I got this, but I’m so sorry it’s just been sitting in my asks! 😭 I just didn’t quite know how to answer it and lowkey put it off lol but no more excuses!

I’ll just say I’m proud of how I grow from more experiences than not. I guess my perseverance in a way? For instance, although I get stuck in my head sometimes, I think I am a much better problem solver bc of it. Or how because of the many times I’ve made myself feel lonely, I have only ever been kinder/more aware knowing how it feels. Those kinds of things ^^ I guess, actively trying to make the best out of anything?

In many respects, my dream is to be the best version of myself. And that means being more at peace with who I am while still improving my traits where I can. So... I’d like to be someone who makes people feel more whole, someone who can inspire people the way I have been blessed to be inspired, and someone who lives life to the fullest, making the most out of every drop of rain and every ink stain.
