Morning Ride: Happy 37th at the Festival of Learning 19April2018 Spent my day doing what I love: morning bike ride to Norzagaray. Heard the morning mass at St. Peter Basilica, to give thanks for my 37 years of existence and to ask for guidance as I continue on with my life's journey. I added meaning to my day by sharing my time with the kids at the Norzagaray NHA resettlement housing, hosted by ATD Fourth World. I donated copies of the book: "Hale hale Hoy!" a compilation of Filipino riddles, songs and games, with illustrations by members of my org, Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang InK!). The books are for their Street Library in Pandacan and North Cemetery. I also had one copy for the community kids to share. Part of the activities during the Festival of Learning are storytelling and some craft projects. I assisted during the crafts activity, and witnessed how simple tasks like this bring simple pleasure to the kids. While learning some skills like following direction and expressing their creativity. It's my first time to take part in ATD Fourth World's initiative.
