#im sorry i saw a takeeeee#there is not an essential quality that can be gleaned from an unrealized trans girl and a cis guy whose a little queer#there is not a female brain#there is not a seed planted in your head by god that is visible to all#sometimes trans people do not know they are trans from very little#sometimes cis guys end up not being cis guys#because these! are not! essential! qualities!#at what point of transition does someone go from being a yucky unforgivable man to One Of The Girls#what level of out does someone have to be for you to accept them in your circles#what level of out does a girl have to be to hear the people she wants to be like talking about how much they hate features of her body#i get it i get it i get it#i dont get it to the extent a trans woman would#because the stakes of me being percieved as a woman/failed trans man are much lower than someone being perceived as a failed woman#but I get the knee jerk need to lash out against birth gender signifiers#its triggering#genuinely#and i can hear that in the Posts#thats why this is tags and not a post!#but PLEASE i am not saying you are secretly or essentially a man#but a lot of sisters are going to be placed in the Man social category for a number of reasons#i want you to think why an insecure trans girl might hear some of this vitriol and think#(not because she IS a man but because she is insecure about being perceived as one)#might feel#(this is not me saying that discussion of the patriarchy is Man-phobic or whatever the fuck)#(its the interpersonal attacks the self identification with hatred)#im not claiming you have structural power over me or something and its the same thing as being misogynistic or trans misogynistic#just#please?
