Goddddd now that I know I have this problem with my eyes I can’t unsee (ha) it. I keep catching my eyes trying to unfocus and it’s soooo annoying to me. Can my glasses arrive soon please
#at the opticians i go to the cheapest they do glasses is £109. that’s where they START#that’d be basically them taking the lenses out my current reading glasses and putting them in there. they charge £109 for that#and i’m not attached to those current frames tbh. they look stupid and i don’t like them#which means if i went for something comparable i’d be looking at £109 plus another £35#i already paid for the eye test bro like i’m not doing all that#so i checked some websites#managed to get my prescription as both regular untinted lenses and sunglasses for £85 including delivery. which i don’t think is bad#i’m not gonna lie i did forgo any kind of lens protection or anti-glare technology because i just didn’t want to pay for it#and i have to wear these ALL the time by the way to correct the weird shit my eyes do where they both try to bugger off#so you guys are going to be subject to a lot of me complaining about my glasses being smudgy or just complaining about them in general#apparently prism lenses also cause nausea and headaches when you’re first adjusting to them! so i have that to look forward to as well#yayyyyy#i don’t know what to do with my time now. i always take wednesday off because it’s pilates and appointment day#but i don’t want to read a book because my own eyes are driving me insane#it’s like now that i know what the problem is i just want them CORRECTED#maybe i should’ve let those guys charge me £109 to fit prism lenses into those frames that i don’t like. at least they’d probably have them#done fast. and i could walk up there to pick them up 🧐#if the ones from the website are garbage i will do that ngl#personal
